Listen, please... If a customer is placing a pickup order (or for the delivery drivers too), would you STOP waiting until the customer arrives to make the fries or curds? The whole damn point of ordering ahead is so the food is ready when we arrive to pick it up. I understand that you are trying to "help" by making sure the food is hot, but if that was my main concern, I'd be dining in. If my fries get cold because I took too long to arrive, that's no one's fault but my own, and I expect that if I'm delayed - but if YOU delay me when I just want to get in and out, then I'm going to be angry. So just make ALL of the damn food as soon as the order comes in please. The next time my order isn't ready after pre-ordering 20 minutes ahead, I'm cancelling.
Also, lunch rush is every single day. Y'all need to be better prepared. If your current employees can't keep pace, then hire more...and if you're busy enough to need them, then you're making enough money to pay well enough to attract good employees in a difficulty hiring market, so don't give us the "no one wants to work" excuse - keep raising that pay until you get the right people.
Last but not least, get rid of that garbage spring mix and bring the spinach back...and stop being so stingy on the cheese - you're supposed to be better than Subway, act like it.

Second time my cheesesteak sub was lukewarm. What happened to the service at Cousins? Seems none of the employees like their job AT ALL. I’m a genuine person. Instead of simply ordering my meal, I felt I had to uplift the guy working to get some type of hospitality, like to not feel as if I’m irritating him by placing my small order. Then with a lil smiling chit chat (from me) he came around to actually acting humane. The fries were partial not fresh with a mix of a lot of old fries and some fresh. I didn’t appreciate that, on top of the fact the sandwich was unpleasant. It’s still in the bag and to not starve because I was still hungry, I went and got food elsewhere. A waste of money. Gave two stars because my mom sorta liked her cheese curds but they were cooked dark, almost burnt…and because the guy eventually smiled as if he had some life in him. The food was highly disappointing. Cousins has been a staple for over 30th but the service has greatly declined.

While I typically really enjoy Cousin's Subs, my recent takeout order from the Glendale location was disappointingly subpar.
My wife ordered a turkey sub on wheat with lettuce, tomato, all the vegetables, and oil & vinegar. I ordered a chicken Philly on wheat, and my son had a turkey sub kids’ meal.
Seems simple enough—but when we got home, my wife’s sandwich was essentially a mayo sub with a bit of turkey. There was just one slice of tomato and very few other veggies. Most noticeably, there was absolutely no cheese.
My chicken Philly had about half the meat that’s typically on that sandwich. Thankfully, my son’s meal was about what we expected.
As a side note, I also asked the person taking my order if Donald Driver (the former Green Bay Packer and now part-owner of the company) ever stops by. They had no idea who he was.
Cousin's Subs is a Milwaukee-area staple, and my expectations are based on consistently good experiences at other locations around town. Unfortunately, this particular store didn’t live up to that standard.

Update: they've gotten better about wait times in the drive-thru, and the staff in store have always been kind.
I've ordered here before for pickup, it was fine. But the drive-thru is incredibly slow and inefficient, ended up leaving before being able to put my order in. Probably should just stick to pick ups in store.

When I place my online order, my food is continuously not made how I requested, and the bread is always hard and stale, no matter the time of the day that you place your order. I am honestly starting to think someone doesn't know how to read or ignores details and just reads the sandwich name, and that's it. Nothing else matters after that. The reason for the star rating

Atmosphere 4 stars = good location. Afternoon and evening male drive-thru cashiers have a good personality and customer service. The female manager is friendly and easy to work with and accommodating, but it's been times she made my food, and it was wrong..

I drove up through the drive thru and placed my order 6:48pm on 6/19/24. Patrick B jr on the receipt. I ordered a Tuna with extra onions and provolone cheese snd asked for the bread to be gutted out. NO cheese, no extra onions and bread not gutted. It took forever and I was the only one in-line. It appears that friends more so hang out and the employee is oblivious that I’m waiting for my order. I even gave a $5 tip which pissed me off more because my order was screwed up. I called, spoke to a manager about what happened and he was silent. Never Again in my entire life would I ever go back. DONE!!

I have order aboit 3 times in the last month and my requested things that I was charged for and it wasn't on my subs. I ordered bacon on one sub. I ordered cucumbers on some others. If they were out of what was requested on the sub they should've said something!!! Staff at drive thru window not attentive enough, seemed to walk around like they didn't know what they were doing. I had a question and it took a couple of minutes to realize I was still at the window.

I was very disappointed once I got home to relax & eat my club sub. I ordered a club sub with extra everything but lettuce on garlic Parmesan bread the sandwich was extremely dry & the bread was so hard I couldn't eat it

This location is normally amazing, but this time, I'm disappointed. I got here after my order time, and they didn't even have it printed. There were plenty of people, but it was all crazy inside. The manager looked stessed. I feel bad for her because here staff are dumb and can't think for themselves. I saw the staff on their phones instead of marking food. That is so not sanitary. No one had gloves on. I had to wait an extra 20 mins. The food was still cold, and my root bear float was flat. I'm someone who works in the food industry. I'm afraid to eat this.

Terrible service. Went here specifically for a meatball sub (which I was craving because I was pregnant) and only after we ordered were we told they’re not serving any hot food. It was at least an hour before they were supposed to close. You could see multiple people inside just sitting around and did not appear to be working at all. We left. Very doubtful that they were maintaining the restaurant the way they should have and did not want to risk it.

Two examples of why NOT to go here:
-Ordered pick up: Went there and waited 30 minutes before they told me they were out of bread- was told it would be another 45 to bake more. Needed to call the store manager to get a refund because employee wouldn’t refund while in store.
-Got delivery and the fries were missing. Called and they said they were out of fries. Still charged me for them and employee wouldn’t give a refund. Had to call the store manager for a refund for missing food.

Do yourself a favor and don't order fries or cheesecurbs. They'll tell you it'll be "2 minutes" and then 15 minutes later they're ready and your food is cold. The subs are great and I get why they want to make them right there so they're fresh but the waiting is still frustrating. I personally love cousins, but the one in Glendale always gets my online order wrong. I'm a vegetarian and only expect 4 items on my sandwich but they always forget the extra mayo and never put any on at all. It's extremely frustrating because I don't realize until I get home and cousins mayo is special or something, lol. It takes better than the store. Inside location close so we had to go through drive-thru. I thought it would be quick bc no customers inside and only 1 car ahead of us. I placed order and waited over 20 minutes bc employees standing around goofing off. They did my order incorrectly so I asked to speak with manager which was a waste of time. Evening of 8/22/22, about 8:30. After waiting over 25 minutes for my food to be completed, I asked about status, and was told, by various employees, that "they weren't sure" or "they're making it now", to "it was made but they just forgot it was ready". This wasn't even a special order - a standard no special order sub and some fries. I was only offered a refund. When the manager came over, I told her that this is the second time this has happened (it happened about a month ago too), I was told "well, if I had had this happen, I wouldn't have been back". Guess what, I won't be. This is the worst Cousins I have ever been at.

I ordered a cheesesteak specifically asking them to NOT put tomatoes on my sandwich because im severely allergic. I got my sandwich, came with tomatoes. I brought it back telling them i cannot eat this and could you please remake my sandwich because i have a tomato allergy. They said sorry we will remake it. 15 minutes later i get my sandwich thinking its new. I eat half the sandwich, my throat begins to swell to where i cannot breathe. I ended up going to the ER to receive emergency medication to bring my swelling down. My wife took a deeper look at the sandwich, turns out they didnt remake the sandwich they just partially tried to remove the tomatoes. The seeds were still present in the sandwich as well as the tomato juices. This almost killed me. Please do not order from this restaurant. I dont think i will ever eat sub sandwiches ever again...

The person working the front counter, messed up my order. Then the manager responded with telling the counter worker to make sure that the customer announces what they want correctly. And I had done that, we even discussed putting mushrooms on my food. Which she stated that they didn't have those anymore. So they remade my sandwich. And they just threw at it. The manager was anger and didn't fix my food right again. And the person at the counter, just let her think that I was the one who messed up my order. When in all actuality it was the counter person who keyed my order in wrong. I won't be back.

Its clear they are understaffed. The dining room is closed. You can't call to place a takeout order. I've been there three times now under these conditions, and it's 100% crystal clear that the employees are DEDICATED to doing their best. I've always had friendly and polite interactions placing my order, they haven't made any mistakes, my food is GREAT, and the guy that drops the food off to my car has always been polite and friendly. That's got to be hard considering that a tiny crew are doing the work. GOOD JOB.

steak sandwich.
The steak was hard and dry as shoe leather.
The Steak Munster I ordered was the same.
I did not return them because my husband is a disabled veteran and can only be alone for a limited time.
I called the manager who proceeded to argue with and demean me.
The most Inappropriate customer service I have ever encountered in my life. He begrudgingly was going to refund 1 sub...but I was so upset I declined and told him I would never visit that Cousins on Port Washington Rd ever.
