Went through the drive through and got sandwiches for 3. I've had their subs and always enjoy them. It was a first visit for my bestie and my daughter. They were BLOWN AWAY! I it's now their favorite place to get subs! Yes, there are other places you can go, but Cousins is unique in their flavors and textures. I'm not knocking any other place, though I'm not a fan of a certain major chain, but I just prefer cousins.

This may seem trivial but I ordered online- only “addition” I added was MAYO to the sandwich just like any other option to add veggies. We get there and the woman who made the subs states she threw two mayo packs in the bag instead of putting it on the sandwich… because she prefers her that way….. what??? Now we have two dry 7.5 inch subs with two TINY mayo packs. Please make the subs as paying customers order them. Not how YOU would prefer them.

Is usually pretty good, I like the subs, I like the fries, and the curds (are actually really good). I get a veggie sub with all the extra veggies on Asiago parm. I also usually go in store. This past time however, I was on a time constraint and went through the drivethrough, I order the same thing I always order, greatly looking forward to it, and when i open it up there are no extra veggies (peppers and olives are my favorite part) and its on white bread. Needless to say i was fairly disappointed.

I Ordered 3 subs 2 of them were double chicken cheese steak and the other one was steak and cheese. Also a side of cheese fries.
All 3 subs were horrible, no flavor no seasoning. I should of just gotten a cold sub. I will never get a hot sub again.
The fries..... soggy/cold and under cooked and we live 5mins away from the store.
While waiting for my food, I see a sign saying ,"Quality takes time".
You guys failed me big time.
Total cost $58 not worth it.

So PATHETIC, it’s just a basic cheesesteak! Mine came with no tomatoes no onions I asked for XTRA MAYO and didn’t get it. The last time they didn’t even chop my steak up. I had long strips of burnt meat. Took one bite and threw it away. That was in the summer. I gave them another chance and they still messed up a basic order. Keep in mind this sandwich cost over $10.00! The cashiers and cook was more worried about going to the back to smoke a blunt then they were my order!! I’ll never come back!

So, as I was walking in, a sad little man was being rude for no reason to the staff, and they handled it like a champ. Then they took my order and I got my order in minutes. This is a Great Cousins sub shop, in my opinion.
As for the loud rude customer, I was loud back, and he walked out without replying to me.

I asked for a minute to look at the menu which nobody had a problem with. I asked if they had dr. Pepper which they said only on the inside fountain. I said okay can I just put my order in thru the drive thru and come back in to get the soda. Which they Said you can order inside. So once they told me it's gonna be that way I decided to come inside. The men greeted us pleasantly. But the two woman that were in the back chose to talk about how our interaction just went in the drive thru in the most unprofessional way. It was loud enough for the folks in the dinning room to hear. And mind you they just told me to come in there to order so I wasn't gone. I definitely wasn't polite back but I don't have a reaction unless there's foulness first. Kinda sad how they just put all this money into renovation into the building but have some of the most disrespectful workers.

I've always enjoyed the food here. However, last trip in, my wife and I approached the counter where the conversation between the cashier and the sandwich prep dude went on and on. There was no aknowlgement of us at all. After several minutes of listening to the conversation, my confidence in their sandwich abilities was lost along with the sale. Very rude and bad for business. Walked into the store thinking it was new to the neighborhood, turns out they just remodeled. Placed an order online today for delivery. Food was picked up by delivery driver about 45 minutes later. Called location and spoke with employee. She told me the driver just picked it up and that my food was made 45 minutes ago and that most likely my food was going to be cold, so she couldn't anything about it. I just so appreciate this staff. I used to work close to the East Washington & Hwy 51 location. Now I just stop by whenever I’m in the neighborhood. I came here today with my hungry family for lunch and when we went to go inside the sign on the door said “drive through only”. I had a trailer attached to my truck so I couldn’t make it through the drive through. As we walked back to my truck a woman that worked there saw us and let us come inside to order our food to go. Sub was wet and sloppy and not tasty at all. Was this a problem of the individual restaurant? No. What happened to Cousins? Something drastic changed in the way they construct their hot subs. Sometimes change is not for the better. The individual restaurant looked like I stepped back into a 70's sitcom with the dark wood paneling and the dated decor. Sandwich didn't rescue the lack of ambience. Won't eat at Cousins again. Makes me sad to say that but the value just isn't there anymore. Maybe someone from Cousins corporate should actually eat one of those now nasty Philly steak sandwiches that had had one a decade ago and realize something went very, very wrong. Go back to the old ways please.

Update: Cousins leadership did reach out and offer to Remedy the issue. It's appriciated that they do care about their customers and actively monitor Google Reviews. I added a star for the correspondence, but still believe that improvents need to be made due to long-running issues at this location - NOT with the employees working, they were working very hard but unable to keep up with demand, but the amount of employees on-shift during demand hours.


Like many places, they are suffering from staffing shortages and it shows. My online bought-and-paid-for order was incorrect (ordered double meat and cheese - got neither) and I had to wait in the drive thru for 25 minutes after my order was complete due to the lobby being closed. Until Management can address the staffing issues at this location, I will not be returning.

This was my first time at Cousin’s subs. I went there for lunch because I had a coupon that I got in the mail. I got a 15” veggie sub and added their “hot pepper relish” and chose to do carry out. When I got home I found that they forgot to add the hot pepper relish. This was the one thing that I was really looking forward to, so I was pretty disappointed. The place was 15 minutes away from my house so I really didn’t feel like driving back again. The sandwich was pretty bland. I added salt and pepper to it once I got home. The service was decent, but if I ever go back I will be getting a different sub and making sure they don’t forget the hot pepper relish!
