Today was my first day at a new company, and by the time I got off work, I was exhausted and overwhelmed. I decided to grab something quick to eat and stopped at Cousins on East Capitol. From the moment I walked in, Ora and Moe had such uplifting energy and provided some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.

Being in their presence felt comforting and peaceful, and I left knowing my food was prepared with care. When I got home and ate my sub, it was not only fresh but made exactly the way I requested.

This Cousins location truly stands out—Ora and Moe are leaders who set the tone, and I appreciate them immensely. This is the Cousins to choose!

Pissed got all the way home to food that wasn't what we ordered! Payed $28 bucks for two large fries and two clubs😳. These subs both have 5 pieces of ham and two slices of provolone cheese on them and NO turkey. Why!? A waste of money. If we could make it back there before they close we would give this bullshit right back to them.

where do i start ? This place has done a complete 360 . The staff are so welcoming and nice and inviting. April , Ora & the young man with dreads made everything hassle free & was so accommodating to my picky wife lol . Very unprofessional! This cousins subs posted they were hiring on indeed, my daughter applied. The manager spoke with my daughter on the phone saying she will give my daughter a call, my daughter was so excited, she then waited & never received a call… so I told her to call cousins , she then spoke with the manager & she played games with my daughter making it seem like she was going to hire her , the manager told my daughter to call back at a certain time, when my daughter called back at that time.. an employee picked up the phone & stated “the manager was not there” my daughter had patience & waited another day the same thing happened the next day. The employees started to answer the phone , telling my daughter they were gonna put her on hold then resumed the call & stated the manager was not there. I am very upset because the manager could have told her she did not want to hire her instead of playing games with my daughter for a week & a half. We will not be customers at this cousins anymore!

Sequoia waited on us. She was friendly and funny.
There was construction going on inside and on the street entrance, so it was a little "haphazard", but I'm sure that will subside upon completion.

It was sooooo hot in cousins No air and it’s 100 outside. Anyways I ordered on line cheese steak toasted bread extra lettuce tomatoes with sautéed onions and bell peppers. Call because I had wrong sandwich young lady that answered said come back we will remake it keep the other sub . I arrived back at cousin’s with the wrong sub as well the guy who made my sub gonna say we’re is the other sub she might be lying that made me mad because I’m a regular consumer didn’t need a free sub because I earned that one free. I gave 1 star because the sub was made wrong and the thanks I got was to bring the wrong sub back . What about my gas and time from my lunch. And still didn’t toast my bread.

The food is just as tasty as it always has! I was there at 1pm and there was only a handful of people inside so I didn't have to wait long for my food. There's lots of seating and there are highchairs for the little ones, and you can park in the parking lot or you can park on the street. The only thing I don't like is how expensive it is, but that's how most places are now so I kind of expected it.

The staff was great! They were happy, and treated us like family. The food was delicious and they even accommodated me and my special diet. The three stars? It was so hot in the restaurant. I feel sorry for the staff that has to work near the fryer. When asked about the heat, they said corporate was supposed to get someone out to repair it but hasn’t come. This looks poorly on corporate since the staff and service was amazing.

The lady in the blue hair was rude and disrespectful towards me because they made my sub wrong In if nothing gets done about this I will take this up with someone in higher power. Also, the dance machine guy talk way to much instead of trying to get the orders out in a timely manner. This was my neighbor cousin subs (sadly) as a child I walked in after work 4/17/23 4:00 on the dot and a worker sitting down eating a sub tells his coworker “tell him we’re not serving till 7pm” i ask him directly “you’re not serving?” He declines i leave that was the first time that has ever happened to me at any fast food restaurant i was so baffled i just laughed and left i’m definitely typing this outside as im about to go to Culvers up the street and actually get my order if you don’t like working a food serving job don’t work in food service thats my advice to you. I will definitely be going to the Port Washington location (Near Kopps custard) in way better service

I ordered online to have food for my break-time. Clearly my receipt and order asks for Provolone cheese. After calling stating about the order the lady with a deep voice or could've been a man couldn't exactly tell told me to bring sandwich in next day because they had to see the food or see that they actually didnt read the order or pay attention and just put whatever cheese they wanted. I work in a doctor's office I had to start back working helping my patients. I thought that suggestion was absolutely ridiculous! Very insensitive, & unconcerned response from the person on the phone.

I work in a place where cousins could receive large orders for luncheons and special events. I have included the photo of what I received. I don't like American cheese ruined my taste for the order I paid $22.32 for a sandwich , soup and fries. Sandwich made my stomach ache and turned my taste buds off. I gave half to co worker and tossed the rest. I will not order again and will inform the building employees of my experience with this Cousins Subs who I see clearly is not providing good service or experiences and want you climb hell's mountain with wrongly made sandwich in tow a day old, to prove your complaint. I had an offer for a free sub for my birthday this month
It was going to expire today
So I stopped here for a cheese steak on my way home
When I walked there was a customer finishing up
The young lady who was working the register was nice
My issue is I told her how I wanted my sub three different times before I even showed my coupon to pay
She still didn't put my order in correctly after I got my receipt I noticed
So I walked back to where she was standing
I said to her
This is being made as I asked
She said something i don't exactly remember to me but then said something to the lady making the subs
Well that did zero
They still made a regular cheese steak but then scrapped off what I had asked to be removed in the first place before wrapping it up and giving it to me
I thankful for a free sub but your staff need some serious training on both listing and communication skills at this location
I'm nearby this location a few times a month but after today I won't be returning to here
This is the 2nd time my orders have had issues from here
Update: 11/13/22 cousins has failed to respond to multiple emails after requesting me to email them about my experience

I am impressed with the staff at this location. With Covid going on, most places on capital drive, only have drive thru but this location is open and the staff is friendly and show up to work. Staff members clean the dining area, wiping down tables and sweeping the floor. During the workday this is my new go to for my lunch break. My order is alway correct and is ready in a timely manner.

Horrible place to eat!! My husband ordered subs for our children when he went in the staff was complaining “why are people not staying in making their own food? I visited your store on east Capitol in Milwaukee Wisconsin I received my sub made wrong I was already to work when I realized I called and told them I would want a refund when I get off at 6:30pm they told me I wouldn’t be able to get a refund until Monday cause only the store manager gets to do refund I’m and totally at disgusted with you establishment and will never spend another dollar with you guy your customer service is horrible
