I'm sorry but this is one of the worst customer service places it is these people are rude especially the young man that just handled my question I don't want anything to do with Oakland avenue the last time I was in there physically one of the workers or arguing with the manager the lobby is full of customers and they're about to fight these people are seriously rude and disrespectful!! I don't know where all these great reviews are coming from but maybe they're picking and choosing who they ought to be nice to but they ignore you while you standing there waiting to place your order looking to see who's going to take your order next and then my sandwich was still sitting up there for about a good 8 minutes, the owner owner needs to get a SECRET SHOPPER!!!!! GO TO ANY OTHER COUSINS!!! I am what you would call a Cousins fanatic. I eat at the chain once if not several times a week. It’s my favorite sub restaurant in the Milwaukee area. With all that being said, this location consistently produces the longest wait times, the most incorrect orders, the least fresh ingredients, the least helpful employees, and half the time there is a homeless person inside. If I could rate this location, a zero I would. It’s a shame because I can walk to this location, but I choose to drive 15 minutes to Glendale to get both a quality sandwich and experience. Again, go to any other location.

I’ve always said Jersey Mikes would be better if they had French fries. Turns out some smart got this idea at Cousins Subs. In MN no sub places I have eaten at ever have fries always chips so I was overly excited to eat here. Plus it was recommended as a go to spot while in Milwaukee.

Service was good while in store, it was during the lunch hour so prime time to go. However the sandwich was seriously lacking in the meat department. Barely filled like in the picture it’s so empty you can’t even see the meat. Fries were good but sandwich was underwhelming.

Everyone here is always friendly but I am just always super impressed with this young man. I told him one day "They should make YOU the manager!" He smiled and said "I am". These new workers are terrible. Black girl with long dreads always always has an attitude. short black dude, seen him leave the store and argue with a girl outside before going back inside, and today while taking my order he is playing a videogame on his phone and rubbing his nose before you hing the screen. Linecooks got airpods in and stopping between cooking to text.

I have frequented here a lot in the past 6 months, and in that time it seems management is hiring whoever applies. Not eating here anymore.

It's been awhile since I was in Cousins. While it's very different in the new store, it still has a Cousins atmosphere. Service was great. The food was familiar.

I ordered curds, which are solid and tasty. They are probably the best I've had at a restaurant so far. I also got my perennial meatballs, but as a bowl, not a sub. I will probably go back to the sub version next time because meatballs don't mix the best with greens (my choice) and I would have mixed the ingredients differently. It was an experiment that fizzled. But the food tasted good, regardless.

I got a luke warm steak sandwich on parm bread with fried onions

The manger on shift was to busy hanging out with friends at a table to care
The staff were well aware of this

This is just so others know what to expect at this location
If they're looking to visit in future

Disappointing Visit to Cousin Subs

I recently visited Cousin Subs, and I must say that my experience left me quite disappointed. I had high hopes for a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of my expectations.

First and foremost, the service was not up to par. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which made the ordering process far from pleasant. It took longer than expected to place my order, and I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.

Now, onto the food. I ordered their signature sub, and I was underwhelmed. The sandwich lacked the freshness and flavor that I had anticipated. The bread was dry and seemed stale, and the ingredients didn't taste as if they were of high quality. It was evident that the sub had been hastily put together, leaving me unsatisfied.

Another issue was the cleanliness of the establishment. The dining area could have used a good cleaning, and the tables were not well-maintained. It gave off an impression of neglect, which further dampened the dining experience.

I believe that every restaurant deserves a fair chance to improve, so I hope Cousin Subs takes this feedback constructively. Improving the quality of their food and service, as well as maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, would go a long way in ensuring that customers have a more positive experience in the future.

In conclusion, my visit to Cousin Subs was not a pleasant one. I sincerely hope they take steps to address these issues and provide a better experience for their customers.

We had catering from this Cousins location for an event for our students. This was the first time we ever used cousins to cater for a university event. The process for ordering and receiving our invoice was very smooth. We had no issues. Tyron, the general manager, was very well organized and very kind. Our order was ready to go on time, and all of our students loved the sandwiches. Will definitely consider them again for catering.

Me and my Dad went here for a late lunch. I have ordered delivery from this location but I had never dined in. The food was good and the location was clean. The customer service was incredible! The cook made my Dad's sandwich wrong but corrected his mistake before sending our food to our table. He came over as we were eating, inquired how we were enjoying our meal and then asked if we wanted the sandwich that he originally made incorrectly, free of charge!

I'm giving this two stars because the cashier was nice, and I've never until today had a bad experience with this cousins. I ordered a cheese steak. The bread was soggy from the mayo, tomato and lettuce at the bottom. It was almost little to no meat at the top of the sub. Place is clean. Their soda machine is out so your paying extra for bottles of other drinks they have in the refrigerator.
I wish she gave me the choice to add the bottle tho (I would of got just the sub and fries). I just wanted my drink to come with my meal not pay extra for a bottle drink (that is my only issue).
I got two meals so I had gotten two vitamin waters. My meal was fresh. And the register lady was pleasant.

Worst cousins ever if I could give zero stars I would have. So approximately around 7pm on 12/20/2020 I ordered me and my boyfriend subs as I have before in the past, I love Philly cheesesteak so that’s what I went with and as I was halfway through with my sub I find there’s something hard in it.
