I sat in the drive thru for over 10 minutes and watched nearly 12 people walk into the store and leave with their meal. There were also 3 cars behind me that got their food before me. I didn't ask for anything unusual or special.

Went through drive thru, so I can't say how the inside looked but the outside was clean. And to be fair, about the wait, it was only about 45 minutes before they were closing, and we ordered cheese curds.

I would give zero stars if I could. Waited for a made to order cheesesteak and a ham & cheese sandwich for my long road trip back to Indiana. I got my order and began to hit the road. Last minute the voice in my head said no stop at your friends house and eat your cheesesteak and fries first. Thankfully I did because when u opened my bag I had someone else’s order completely. No fries, no cheesesteak, no ham and cheese. And I was left with someone’s kids meal. Poor kid hopefully they got their right food. I had to wait all over again for my food and wasn’t offered anything in compensation outside of giving me what I had already paid for!! I love cousins but this one failed!!

The cousins subs on Layton avenue in St Francis did a fantastic job preparing sandwiches for our family reunion. They were accommodating to our needs, easy to communicate with, professional and excellent customer service all around. We would definitely go to them again to cater for for future events.

I went to the new Cousins in St Francis. It was great. We ordered 2 party pack for a family reunion. They were ready on time and delicious. Everyone loved them. Very easy way to feed a large group. The store staff were very helpful and friendly. The place is super clean! I would go back again and again.

Don't wast your time going here. I will not return to this store. I ordered a sub. Then asked if they had lemonade, cashier said yes. I said ok, please make it a meal with chips and a drink. Grabbed a bag of chips and went to get my lemonade. Oh, no lemonade. Someone says, yeah we ran out. Then I decide which dirty table I want to sit at. Right after I sit down, an employee (probably a manager) walks over and asks to see my recipient. I pull the recipient out of my pocket. He looks at it and said "I thought so" Grabbed my chips and walked away. I looked at my recipient and saw that I had been charged for only a drink, not a combo. I figured since my order was $15 for a half sub, that it was actually ordered as a combo. I tried asking the guy about it and he just gave me a dirty look and kept going. Worst service I've had in a long time.

Got a meatball sub with a whole 20% of the sub uncovered and overall cold to lukewarm and another with 3 and a half meatballs and barely warm and next to no sauce. The manager was cold, not understanding and disrespectful. The tables were filthy and the air was chilly. The cheese curds were just ok. Somehow the replacement subs were almost as bad, application of ingredients was inconsistent and at times lacking or excessive. This is the worst restaurant experience I have had in over a decade. This is the kind of service that kills a restaurant, do better.

I want to say thank you so much for the club sub well made. It was delicious. I have been having trouble at this time of night(9:30ish) getting a descent sub at another location. I never have problems at this location, always great subs. I would definately recommend this location. Thanks again for make my night with a smile.

Update:
I came to this location cuz I thought I would have a great sub again at 9:30pm for work. I was very disappointed this time. One is I had to have money on me because they weren’t taking credit cards at the time. I was glad I had cash on me. The 2nd thing is the subs were not up to par. The tomatoes had holes in the middle taken out and the sub was very watery. Hardly any onions on it maybe 2 small strands and my ham and cheese didn’t have the seasoning on it. I got to work and opened it up and I had to throw it away. It seems at nights going through drive thru, you get bad subs. I had this at another location, now this one! And the money we pay for the subs these days, we should get a good sub not garbage. I hope the manager of this location talks to their employees about giving garbage to their customers!

I ordered a cheddar beef steak, and after driving home, I found out that I got a cheddar chicken steak instead. Also, the meat portion was very skimp. I don't have lettuce on my sandwich, and it really shows how little they give you. When I unwrapped the sandwich , it looked like a small loaf of bread. No ingredients we're showing on the outside. Lettuce is the same as when a place fills the entire cup up with ice before they add soda. I don't like places that are greedy profit Maximizers.
I was in the food service industry for quite some time. I understand the need for portion control and standards. The wrong sandwich, skimp ingredients, why would I go back?

I recently purchased a large party box (20 subs, 12 cookies and two large bags of plain chips) from this location for a staff meeting. My order was completed on time, they included the things that I had requested (mayo, sides of hot relish and sides of jalapenos). All of the subs were made correctly and everything was packaged with care. Upon picking up, I was happy to see an all young staff working hard and taking pride in their job (love to see that!). Thank you, Cousins staff in Saint Francis for a 5 star experience.

Last Sunday they messed up my two subs bad gross!! The manager a guy told me when I called that I a credit for next time for two large combos so I went tonight and some . This place makes subs worse and screws up orders far more than the one down the street. Pictured is a pepperoni melt cold that has no lettuce and like two pieces of pepperoni. I'll change my review when I've had two consecutive positive experiences (defined as getting my order correct) at this location. Staff is very friendly, btw.

I love Cousins Subs. One of the only chains I visit. Some times they put to much oil or mayo on and the bread gets soggy. And when they forget the napkins.
Overall service has gone downhill while the price went up. I noticed today after getting my order wrong the 2 sandwiches I ordered they cut the ends off. They are no longer 7.5 inches. My Pepperoni Melt had No cheese. And a side of bacon is one stripe. Hate to say it I won't be back. Waiting in the drive thru a song on the radio before they even take your order.

Cousins Subs literally always taste great. The only problem I ever have with this restaurant chain is the service. I have tried three different locations and each time you just wait and wait and wait. I understand if they’re busy and the subs are made fresh but when you see people standing around and you watch people who order after you get their food quicker you begin to question the process. It’s rare to get a thank you as compared to them calling out your number or putting the sandwich on the tray and handing it to you. Nothing is said like enjoy your meal. Thanks for coming in. Sometimes it feels like we are inconveniencing them.

Ordered online for pick up. It says to bypass speaker and go directly to pickup window. I do so and I'm stuck waiting 10 minutes honking and knocking on window. Then a lady finally opens the window and says I was supposed to go through drive thru. I said no, it says online to come right to window. Was rude as she closed the window. FIX YOUR APP PEOPLE!!!

Normally cousins delivers on their quality and I typically feel the price is worth what you get into now. I ordered 3 meatball subs that had no sauce. I called and spoke to the manager who said in a snappy tone "I made those subs and put extra sauce on them. It's just thin sauce." I wish there was a picture option so I could show you the "extra sauce" the meatballs were legit dry as if they had never even seen sauce before. I do not reccomend coming here, especially for the meatball subs.

I ordered 3 subs and a LARGE fry and this is what Cousins St. Francis gave me... Seriously!?
After a long hard day at work I decided to treat myself to eat out seeing how everything is so expensive now a days.
If I would have know the staff at St. Francis was literally going to give me a "small" fry I wouldn't have ordered a large. Feeling ripped off like everything else.
.... and NO I didn't eat any of them and post a bogus review. I just worked a 10hr shift and have to pick up my daughter and yet to shovel. So I wouldn't take the time out of my busy day if I honestly didn't feel like I was being straight up ripped off.

Not sure if they changed their meat supplier for the beef in the cheese steak but it was HORRIBLE! Quality of the sandwich was good but the steak had a after taste and some sort of hard grizzle that wasnt fat and wasnt edible. Really sad as this was the best cheese steak in the city.

Excellent example of the Midwest chain. Prompt, polite service. The menu is packed with old favorites and monthly specials. This location has a grill staffed by talented people.
Continuously pleased with the quality of their food. Staff is always friendly and tries the best to accommodate special requests.
Also, the special subs are always fun and delicious.

We've always loved cousins subs and would go there a lot. Lately this location is going downhill. We waited 40 minutes in the drive thru! Then they got my order wrong, when we got home the sub was skimpy on the meat and not very good. I went in the Drive-Thru at lunch time and I had ordered a half of a cheesesteak but I did not want all the meat because when they changed the cheesesteaks it seems like they added more meat on their sandwiches. At first the drive-thru guy said it comes pre made so to speak and then I heard somebody in the background say yes we can take some of that meat away for you if you'd like. They asked me if I wanted to remove like half of the meat quarter of the meat three-quarters of the me, which I thought was very nice. I had also asked for extra lettuce and did not receive extra lettuce. I always ask for extra lettuce wherever I go and I never seem to get it which is weird unless that really is the extra lettuce. I proceeded to eat my sandwich and some I just met there was more meat than I really wanted and really wasn't impressed with the taste.

Usually very prompt service even when they are busy . I've had a few mix ups with my order in the past but they were nothing that couldn't be dealt with once sandwich was opened at home . I'll continue to use this location , like I said they do their best to handle the orders during a rush and I've always found the facility to by clean and well kept . Everyone has been friendly and courteous . One more star is in the future when the other clientele remember that social distancing is still a good thing to practice , especially the " pick up service people ", they usually rush in expecting special attention. Maybe a dedicated pickup spot at the counter just for them since they seem to believe they have some sort of emergency priority . Kudos to all the employees that deal with all of us .

Ordered online and picked up the food and at the time didn’t notice we were missing a sub. We called and I went back and pretty much was very disrespectful and calling us liars. Believe me I don’ t need to lie about not getting what I paid for. The manager was helpful but the way her staff talked to her was even more appalling. I won’t be returning to this Cousins. All the other locations I have had no issues at.

Horrible service by some young teenage sounding kid. My husband asked what kind of soups they had bc I hadn't had soups from here in a while, his response "we ALWAYS have Cheddar broccoli chili" super fast and rude. He sounded so annoyed with us. We waited about 15 min in the drive thru. We are always waiting here longer than we should, the place is always DEAD when we come here. Won't be back.

Every time I go here late afternoon/evenings the service has been terrible. I’ve been eating at Cousins for years and love the food but now I live in Cudahy and this ones the worst. I order the same thing every time and the last 3x I’ve went they just hand me my bag with no crackers, silverware, or napkins. Then I have to wait and ask again and they still don’t come back with everything. They just slam the drive thru window and ignore you another 60 seconds while you wait some more. It’s ridiculous.

Fries were fresh, salted perfectly and hot! Customer service was good and staff was friendly. Kiddos just wanted fries and sodas this time, but this location has never disappointed us. Food is fresh and tastes good. We love cousins. Don't mind waiting a little bit for fresh hot fries or hot subs. Love that there is a drive thru at this location! Can still get my favorites. Keep up the good work!
