Great service. The girls that were working were super helpful. Restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. Its located inside a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. Food was hot and delicious. Great portions. If I'm traveling through Thiensville again, this will definitely be a stop for me!

So amazed by the hard work of this staff to help me surprise my son in Los Angeles, to satisfy his craving for a Cousin's sub. They listened kindly to my long story and presented me with two carefully wrapped, deconstructed Ham & Cheese subs - which my son and his wife devoured upon my arrival. So grateful for their kindness and hard work. (I also ordered a sandwich for lunch before taking off. DELICIOUS.)

They decided not to honor the girls lacrosse team reusable coupon. Which is the only reason why i bought them in the first place. The owner could have been cool and just took it for the business as a profit. Nope, the wife had to come to our table to resolve to no avail. No discouunt was given and we will not be returning. The mequon cousins is waaay better, what an uncomfortable lunch! Also my wife came in for a sandwich some time back and she was turned away 30 minutes before close because they said that they have already cleaned the prep area….!? I love to patronize my local business but cmon guys!

I have been coming here for years and specifically this year this team has been incredible! Always ready when I’m there and they are incredibly nice! Review number one: Online order last week. Stopped to pick up sandwich for my Mom. When I unwrapped the "club" at her house to serve, there was no meat.
Web site lists ham and turkey as part of the sandwich. Not mine.
Felt cheated, so looked at the receipt which clearly listed the ham and turkey. I called the Thiensville location and ended up with the employee pretty much calling me a liar, as he said he remembered my order, and he personally put both the ham and turkey on my sandwich. Told him i was prepared to bring him back the meatless sandwich and he again reiterated he put on both meats. So really? I have ordered party boxes from this location multiple times so now I am trying to get something for free? Terrible customer service skills. Employee told me I didnt need to bring back the sandwich and would credit my online purchase. (which did happen)
Review number two: Stopped yesterday and ordered a sandwich to go. Two customers in front of me. Placed my order and stood off to the side to wait. Watching the two guys building the orders left me wondering when I may receive my purchase. Seemed to be having a great time chatting each other up, one bragging to the other about being named employee of the month. No sense of urgency here at all. A lady came out behind the counter and asked me if she could take my order. Told her I was still waiting.
Then asked her what time it was. I placed my order at 2:06 pm as stated on my pickup receipt. She responded it was now 2:24. I asked why it was taking so long to get my order. The guys behind the counter looked stunned at me inquiring and called me out on it. She indicated she was on break prior. Again, what I would expect from this location on customer service skills. The lady offered me free fries, chips or whatever to apologize for this delay. I told her all I wanted was my sandwich on a timely basis. I cannot recommend this location. One of these guys is employee of the month? Wow.

Came in at 7:45 after a long day craving a pepperoni melt… the two young men behind the counter looked confused and told me they couldn’t get me a sub because they already “turned off the grill for the night”? Honestly just really disappointed, it wasn’t that late. I worked customer service and we would never do that. :(

Always loved cousins. My favorite sub place. However, too many young people were working when I visited, there were about 10 employees, 2 customers in the lobby, 3 cars parked in the drive thru and my order was messed up even after I asked her to repeat it back and I had to wait almost 30 minutes for my food. With that many employees and no one had a big order, it shouldn’t have taken that long.

1st time eating there with the new ownership, what can i say best cheese steak i have ever had there, i have ordered a few before and the steak is usually over cooked and dry, however today it was great, ordered with mayo and jalapeños, meat was juicy had plenty of cheese, prefect amount of mayo, and jalapeños, i would say they are back to doing it right again how it used to be, love it will be eating there regularly again like i used to. Very happy customer.

Unfortunately, I have to ding this sub place. Must be under new management. Not run like a smooth operation in years past. In any event, covid or no covid, hard-to-find quality workers or not, I left unimpressed with the service. They charged me for chips, but didn't have regular chips, so I simply asked for my money back. They couldn't do that??!! They couldn't or wouldn't open the register to reimburse me. B.S. Instead the manager said "give him a coupon." So, a coupon cost me $1.75. But I get a free sub. But is it good at any cousin's sub? No. What if I'm just passing through town? I'm sol. A poor solution to what seemed to me to be a lazy manager taking the easy way out. My order was an inconvenience to them. Plus they screwed up my order. They gave my wife extra mayo instead of me. Too bad. It used to be a good cousins. No soup for you!

I was catching up on my emails and I was listening to the 4 young men behind the counter. They made me laugh. I'm a vegetarian and love wierd sauce mixtures. One of the guys said brown mustard and mayo.....very interesting. I laughed out loud. We all talked for 10 minutes. They go to my high school Homestead. It was super nostalgic and fun.

I have visited this location multiple times and I do enjoy the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the lobby. The elderly lady who works the cash register is super sweet and very friendly, however the young lady who prepares the food displays a bit of attitude towards others. I was a bit disappointed when I visited a few days ago because the elderly lady took the order of the individual in front of me and the total was like $12.02. The individual handed the elderly lady a $20 and then a few moments later said oh I have $0.02cents. The elderly lady had already entered the $20 and then proceeded to take the two cents to then make correct change. The young lady who was preparing then food then yelled at the elderly lady "hey, no don't do that. You will mess up the register." The young lady then walked over and took control of the register. The young lady then continued to make comments regarding messing up the register for several moments even after I ordered. This entire interaction made me feel uncomfortable. I felt as if the younger lady had a bad attitude and I think she could have did a better job of correcting the situation. This experience made me feel uncomfortable about visiting the location as I feel that a confrontation may occur due to the young lady's attitude. Otherwise this is a very good place.

Never going back to this Cousins ever again after being a customer there for the past 4 years. The staff here have gotten incredibly rude. I had to wait to place an order. One of the employees were too busy on their phone to take my order. The other was also in no hurry to take my order. After I placed my order, two other customers came in, placed their order, and received their food before me. When I asked about my order, I was then told with a snarky attitude that I should've tipped better by the employee who took my order and walked away. It still took a while to get the two subs I had ordered. This is such a shame. One of my friends had a similar experience at this location, and had to wait over 45 minutes for their order.

I have been in this location sporadically over the past few years. The service is always slow and often incorrect. Today, I ordered my food online and was given a 30 minute pickup time. My food was not available until 25 minutes beyond that. I had to remind the cashier to provide my drink cups. When we arrived home, we discovered that every sandwich requested w/o mayo was covered in it. I won't be back to this restaurant.

It was all political and ethnically focused, which is their right to exchange viewpoints but would suggest that those discussions should be limited in a work environment and certainly not in the in a dining environment. This Cousin's USED to be good. I usually order online around lunch time, so when I stop in to pick up my food, the sub was usually ready to go and I would just wait a few minutes for them to make the fries. In and out in only a few minutes...Great!
However, within the past few months things have changed. There seems to be new staff making the subs and they are always disorganized. They seem overwhelmed and actually argue with each other and complain about the customers loud enough for everyone to hear. Now, even when I order online, there is still a 10-15 minute wait after I arrive. My sub is never prepared before I get there, which is usually 15 to 20 minutes after I place the order. They seem to make the walk in customers orders and ignore the online orders until they get there. About a month ago I had to wait an additional 25 minutes in the store for my food. I had placed the order online 20 minutes before I even showed up. While I was waiting that 25 minutes, at least 5 other customers walked in, ordered and had their food made prior to my order.
The young lady taking the orders is very nice, she remembers your name, but you can tell she feels bad about the wait times and Is embarrassed by her coworkers lack of professionalism and disorganizaton. I really hope they get it together soon, before they lose more business.

Very disappointed in our local cousins tonight. Arrived at 735 and every thing was shut down, when questioned why the young lady working stated “we always shut the grill, fry machine, soup and ice cream machine at 730, your only option is cold subs”… As I was waiting for my cold sub order, a young man who worked there walked in and ordered fries and was told it was shut down, he even asked “we close at 730 now!?” Your restaurant should not advertise being open until 8pm but close everything done at 730….

I never feel like I'm getting my money's worth at Cousins. This location is ok: decently clean, comfortable, not too busy. Order adjustments (no onions) are often ignored. Last time I went, I did not explicitly ask for the "meal deal", and ended up paying more for my meal! I love Sprecher root beer being on tap; it almost makes it worth it...but whilst topping off before leaving the other day, the mix must have run out, leaving this terrible taste in my mouth, ruined the meal.

Awful soda...the rootbeer comes out like it's coming out of an empty machine. ...it has no carbonation.
