What a difference a day makes! Was here yesterday for lunch and the service was friendly, courteous, warm. The gentleman taking my order thanked me and said my food would be brought out to my table. Wonderful! As a result I came back today only to be treated like I was an intrusion. The woman who took my order was cold and bordering on rude. Before asking if she could help me she had to banter with other staff. Once I placed my order she said nothing and barely handed me my order. When my order was ready she called out my number rudely and with disdain. I won’t be back and suggest others should eat elsewhere. Treat your customer respectfully and they want to return. Don’t and we’re gone for good!

We both got the cheese steak subs. They were overcooked (even half black) and dry. Tasted like cardboard. We were very disappointed as we have always been happy with that sandwich at Cousins. First time trying cousins, and I'll never go back. I ordered delivery, and every sandwich I ordered was made incorrectly, and one was just missing all together. My 2 large orders of cheese curds were not even close to the same amount. One container was filled about 2/3 of the way, and the other wasn't even half full - clearly not the same size order. The sandwiches were so drenched in oil and vinegar that the wrappers were coming apart, and everything in the bag was oily. When I called the store the only attempt to fix the problem was that I could stop in some time, and they would give me a coupon for a free sub. After explaining that I have one person with no food for dinner and I expected a better option, they said they could make the sandwich they forgot, and I could come get it. After a much longer than necessary conversation, they offered to remake all the subs that were incorrect(all of them), and I would have to come in and get them. So after the 87$ I paid for food and delivery I had to go get my own food and then the other girl working in the store, not Emily, wanted to examen all the sandwiches to see if they were actually made wrong. She basically said she thought I was lying, although since I brought all the sandwiches back to the store, even though I was told on the phone I didn't need to bring them back, she was able to verify that they had indeed made all the sandwiches wrong. They did give me 4 coupons for free sandwiches but considering that when I got home and sat down to eat my cold cheese curds I discovered that they still didn't make the sandwiches correctly (mayo all over my son's sandwich again even though it was ordered without) I don't plan to use the coupons or return. I don't like to give my business to a place that clearly doesn't value me as a customer and doesn't want to do anything to make their mistake right without me having to demand something be done.

I’m posting this poor review in hopes that something can be done with the quality of the subs at this particular location. I used to go to the Cousins in Stevens Point whenever I went through that area because they had the best subs ever! The quality was always top notch. This location opened rather recently and it was superb at the beginning but the quality is failing for me most recently. The last 3 orders have been dripping water and all soggy within minutes of receiving my order - like they are pulling wet meat out of a bag and slapping it on undercooked bread :/ I’ve reached out to let them know and nothing changes. I’ll give it a month or two and hope this goes back to the quality I remember. For now, I’ll give it a break and go back to Jersey Mike’s or Jimmy John’s when in Wausau. The people have still been nice so it pains me to post this. Just being real…

The staff was friendly, but... we were a group of three, of the three all were incorrect when we arrived home. They weren't difficult requests, they just didn't follow the order for some reason. One was supposed to be hot, it was not. One was missing olives, and the last had no mayo as requested. The subs were basic and ok, rhe place seemed clean. The food is good but almost every time I go through the drive thru my order is wrong. I get the most simple sub, ham with onions and that’s it. They always still give it with lettuce and mayo? Even when I make it clear I want nothing but ham and onions. I usually go on my lunch break and don’t have time to run back for them to correct it so I never call to complain, but just figured I’d leave the review instead.

I remember eating at cousins a lot when I was younger when I lived in southern Wisconsin. This is the first cousins I've seen open in the area so I was excited to bring back the memories. The location is great, the building is trendy, and the subs are just as I remember. I'm a big fan of the bread and whatever oil / dressing they put on the Italian sub. In comparison to other places that sell the same food, I'd recommend putting a little more fixings on the subs. Both of our sandwiches looked paper thin compared to something similar from Subway, Jimmy John's, Erbert and Gerbert, or Jersey Mike's.

It was my first time visiting. The service was quick but food really sucked. I ordered a large sub and the vegetables in it tasted rancid..like they had chemicals on them...I literally spit them out. It made my mouth kind of numb! The cheese tasted gross. It was super weird. Subway is better to be honest. Only decent thing was the bread. I really like sandwiches so I thought I would give it a try. People also in the back didn't seem cheery or happy..not sure if it's a good place to work. Emilee was an awesome drive thru worker. It was my first time here and she was great at offering sides and possible upgrade options as well as explaining what's on the sandwich. Very Disappointed, Subway is much better! Ordered the 15’ Meatball and Provolone sandwich. Sandwich was cold and barely warm, had a total of 8 meatballs, with very little marinara sauce. Had to ask for more marinara sauce, attempting to cover the cold meatballs with something warm. Apparently, this place has no idea how to make a HOT meatball sandwich. Management should go to Subway for training, in hopes of learning how to make a decent meatball sandwich. Cousins is very expensive and should be embarrassed to open their doors.

Pretty hard to understand. 3 times in a row...my order was wrong. Read the other reviews, I am not alone. I order 1 sandwich...not a complicated order. Hold the tomatos and onions. First 2 times I went in and got a different sandwich. Today, I figured no way it could be wrong again. Bad assumption. I know it is nit-picky, but I am eating this in my car. It is a pain and messy to remove onions and tomatos, and just unbelievable you can get it wrong every time. Checking to see if it is correct is tough too due to 5 layers of paper to go through to get to the sub. Hire some people that can read, or if they can read actually care about the instructions on the order. Checked receipt each time...no tomatos or onions right on there. I like the sandwich. Prices are high, $18.00 for a 15" chicken deluxe sub that isnt particularly special seems high to me, although I have used a coupon every time so really about $15.00. I have eaten alot of subway, and I cant even remember 1 time my order was wrong. Same for Jimmy Johns. I can eat at a sitdown place here for $18.00 easily. More food and service for the money. Inside seems fine, enough parking, they were busy and I still got my food fairly quickly...but...I would wait a little longer to get the correct food. Not sure I will be back. I honestly do not recommend at this point. Too expensive for what you get and extremely poor service. An occasional mistake can just be a bad day...consistent mistakes seem like poor training or management. Plenty of other sub places to go.

This is the first time that my wife and I had cousins subs. We tried to order online through the drive-thru and it wouldn't let us. Though inconvenient; that has no effect on my review. The inside of the store seemed nice/ mediocre. A bit crammed. The staff were nice though. My order came relatively quickly. The food is the bulk of this review. Although I would would give this high value over Subway; it still seems to be missing something. I can't say definitively what it is but there is something about it that just seems to be missing.

Never returning. Order this sad looking sandwich thru door dash to be delivered at my workplace. I didn’t customize anything on my sandwich. If you are familiar with Cousins Subs you already know about their taste and quality. I have been going to Cousins since they opened their first two stores in Milwaukee in 1972.
