I go here almost weekly. It is a great location since I pick up my mother who lives nearby. Their breakfasts are amazing. All their food is delicious! Burgers are like the good old days. Their daily specials are excellent especially the perch basket on Fridays. There is a soup and salad bar which has a tremendous variety of items to choose from. People are friendly and the service is excellent. This family run business offers fantastic food at a price that can't be beat. More people should know about Covered Wagon for great food for at really decent price.

My friend and I order a mint malt which didn’t taste like mint at all it was a tumbler full of foam and it was warm asked the waitress if they put ice cream in it she said yes 4 scoops she made them herself . There was absolutely no ice cream in it at all when I told the waitress it was warm and all foam she had an attitude and was totally rude to us. I don’t care to get lied to

I Ordered a BBQ chicken Hoagie. It was terrible! The FF’s were hot and the sandwich at best was warm. A lot of grizzle in the chicken but the worst was the BONE I bit into. Needless to say, our waitress never came to check on us so nothing was done about it. I had 2 FF and 3 bites of the Hoagie with the third having a bone in it. When we went to pay the bill we found out that our waitress had left as it was the end of her shift. I always believed it to be good customer service to not only check on the customer BUT to also check “before” you leave; of which neither was done.

First time visitors, heard lots of great things about this place and was not disappointed. Small diner, space can be limited, but everything is homemade. We got a free donut sample because we visited on a Friday. I have to commend the line cook for making my fried eggs Perfectly- the whites were fully cooked (no slime!) and the yolk wonderfully runny.
We took 2 slices of pie home, and this was a challenge to just choose 2 because we wanted to try them all! Friendly staff, will be back.

Edit: 6-12-22, family came for Sunday supper, we all had the ribs special, two of us tried it with the broasted (fried) chicken. Everything was delicious and freshly made. We've ordered take out many times, everything is always fresh and craveable. Always order dessert!!!

Our first time visiting. Service was good..smallish..very busy place. My husband's egg dish was mostly good, just didn't care for ultra deep fried hash brown squares... I had cinnamon roll French toast and couldn't eat it... Not that it was bad, the menu did say cinnamon roll and it's what you get.. just sweeter than sweet!!! Complete with frosting melted on and maybe butter with sugar mounded on top... Maybe a dessert ? Or a child might like it! Wow.... I'll know to not get that again... We will go back and stay with eggs.... The veggies and shrooms were very good on my husbands meal!

Wonderful Surprise! Stopped in for Sunday brunch and had an amazing meal. The roasted chicken dinner was delicious. The homemade split pea soup was yummy. Adding the salad/soup/dessert bar for $1 was a no brainer. Great topping choices and homemade desserts. Took a slice of custard pie home. Definitely a gem.
