At first it looks like a very high-end restaurant on the second floor overlooking the road in a small area for concerts. Some of the tables on the balcony a little too high for my taste. You have to bend over to get to the table. The waitress is there a very professional and do a good job but I can't see the same for the bartenders. My wife and I ordered drinks from the bar, an old fashioned and a margarita. At first taste it was very bland and almost watered down. When I talked to the bartender about the drinks he told me that it wouldn't make any difference. "If I made another one for you I would make it the same way." Not the kind of professionalism I would think from this high end of a restaurant. We ended up ordering beers which I was not in the mood for. We also tried the Wings which were ok. The sauces were the only thing that made it pleasing. After the disappointing dinner we asked to have the first two drinks removed from our bill as we only had a sip of each. The manager refused until we asked to talk to him from the waitresses. Then he removed the drinks and did not come to talk to us. Overall a disappointing experience.

Great experience, good food and service, and great band - Brent Bel & the Boys. We had the King Ranch sampler. Pulled pork, brisket and sausage. All very good! Cornbread that was included was the best we have had anywhere. Sampler was more than two of us could eat so we took the remainder home with us. Friday nights have a band. Good place to listen to music and have some good food!

I was here with a group meeting for a bachelor/bachelorette party. It wasn't very busy but we were still waiting 5 to 10 minutes between drinks and refills when we were at the bar. The food was very bland. I got pulled pork tacos and if they didn't have jalapenos on them they would have been flavorless. I also got the queso fries which were also lacking in flavor. At one point our server came to grab my soda for a refill and she grabbed it from the top of the glass with her fingers going inside. Other than that the people working there were very nice when we were able to get service. As far as being a western-themed / BBQ place, there isn't anything they do here that stands out, and there are definitely better options in Green Bay.

Went Monday for lunch. Lights on, TVs on, seat yourself. Waited ten minutes, no employees around whatsoever! Seriously, if you're not going to staff the place on non-game-day, save everyone the time and hassle, turn off the lights and close the doors!

The whole building stinks of industrial disinfectant, so that's another hard downer as well.

About as good as a restaurant as your local Jiffy Lube, and smells about the same!

Sports bar style place which is fine but the booth tables rest on platforms that slide away when you use your feet to scoot into the booth. We were there for lunch after Packers open practice in July and I was surprised they had all the deck doors open so the room was warmer than I would have preferred.
We ordered a carnita verde dish that so spicy I could barely eat it even with the sour cream I requested to cool my mouth. And there was nothing verde in it. The pork itself was tasty, but the rice and beans were just too spicy.

Stopped in after training camp and only a few tables occupied. Expected faster service/kitchen times.
Took 25mins to get an appetizer that came out 40seconds before the meal.
Appetizer came with undercooked bacon, seems like they were rushing it as if they forgot it and trying to get out before the wings arrived

Wings arrived barely warm so by the time you eat the appetizer which arrived late they are cold.
Wings are Overpriced for the serving and quality and very average wings for what’s in the area.

Atmosphere is nice, but still some areas to clean up in the kitchen ahead of busy event days as 20minute ticket times on an already limited menu with barely anyone here is going be an issue on busy days.

I would say the 4th best place to grab BBQ and not in the top 10 for wings in the area. Nothing too special about it.

It’s a classy atmosphere with nice lighting and chill vibes. Nice date spot. Sports on the bar TVs if you just want to catch the game.

The drinks were delicious. We had the prickly pear margarita and the Crown blackberry lemonade. I’d recommend you try the lemonade for sure while you’re here.

The food was good. We had a mild queso appetizer. Pretty standard melted cheese and tortilla chips, not bad, also not something we’d come back for. I had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. Everything was really fresh and light for bbq. My wife had the avocado salsa craft tacos. She wished she’d chosen something with meat, but she liked the bbq sandwich.

The service was excellent. We sat at the bar where all the bartenders were exceptionally friendly and checked in frequently to keep the drinks full.

Update: We’ve been there a couple times, and when the weather is nice enough to open the doors the atmosphere is awesome. Watch the Packers practice from the patio.

My wife really likes the chicken adobo tacos. The quesadilla trio is delicious! We would go back just for that and the drinks.

This restaurant is on the second floor of the building. It's a large space with a huge bar and a bunch of outdoor seating as well, with the ability to look down on the Packer pactice fields. I was in family in the first week of May, just before the draft. I belive the building had just recently opened. Our waitress was great, still learning everything they offered, but polite and fast. All the food was good, but nothing stood out as excellent. Had several tasty margarita options. It looked like they had a stage or DJ booth, not sure if they're doing live music. The location is prime and I would think that'll keep this place busy.

Was excited to be here for the first time however left sad. We enjoyed the chicken wings, but regret a bowl with no flavor mush rice and chicken was served next. Definitely could say in sat a warming pot too long. Was not fresh. Fake it with some garnish if that is the quality.
Bartender staff unorganized, girls stay focused on who is serving who. Never a good moment when you take an order and forget to bring Eventually received a jalapeno margarita of soda. Sorry Cowboy Max, not in hurry to go back for a girl's night when you have a hard time serving 2 people with 10 other people there. $80 bucks and left to go somewhere else. Super cute bar and has great potential but is definitely not there yet. I visited last weekend, at the time there was an outage with my cellphone provider (cellcom) so I did not have any phone service. I asked the bartender for the wifi password, there were 3 seperate wifi options specifically for CowBoy Macs and one specifically called “CowBoy Macs - Guest”. The bartender told me no they don’t give wifi out to guests, I said it’s literally called guest to which he said it’s only for the DJ. Well there was a separate wifi for the dj… not a huge deal except he only gave me a QR code for a menu which I said I could not use as I don’t have any service due to the outage. He said he’d ask his boss for the wifi but he’ll probably say no. Well he never left the bar to go ask his boss. Drinks were pretty good but food was not great and would not be my choice in the area for Mexican food. I had one of the burrito bowls and it didn’t have a lot of flavor and was just kind of mush. Wish they did more a Texas bbq menu than Mexican food. Hopefully they improve as they just opened but as of now I would not recommend nor go back.

I don’t like to give bad reviews however this was terrible. I ordered the CHILI and the CHIPOTLE POLLO ROJO. The food was barely lukewarm. My first bite of the chili was good, there was no meat in that bite. The next bite, I had a big wad of fat in my mouth, It was horrible. I understand that you can end up with some extra fat left on the meat so I take another bite-more fat. I’m not talking a little fat, I am talking rubber in your mouth fat. I proceeded to pull the rest of the meat out and laid it on a napkin. It was pretty much all fat and that’s what we’re paying $14 a bowl for. Needless to say, my appetite Was gone. I can’t fairly rate the other meal, except to say that it was almost cold, and I didn’t eat it. I won’t be going back, the thought grosses me out.

Awesome place with a great atmosphere! They looked to have plenty of staff, many if which seemed to be standing however our server took quite awhile to come over to us. After that she was pretty good about taking care of us throught the time we were there. It took awhile to get the drinks we ordered. My wife got a margaritta and got a brandy old fashion. There was nothing to special about either drink, yet the drinks are priced as they would be at a 5star supper club. Im pretty sure my old fashion was made up of a simple premix which just isnt anything near what a good old fashion should taste like. The food was also on the pricey side. I got the brisket nacho's which to me were just basic and a little to bland to be charging $17 for. Like i said its a really cool spot which is why i gave it 3stars along with friendly staff. I hope they find a way to do better, because Id love a reason to hang out there once in awhile. It definitely has potential.

The place seemed understaffed and pretty overwhelmed with the Friday night crowd. We watched several other groups cancel their food orders because it was taking too long. Visited Cowboy Mac’s during the Draft for lunch as well as drinks later in the evening. We had great, fast service even though it was extremely busy. Great views of the live band from the patio and the open floor plan made it easy to navigate. I was very impressed with the food, staff, and atmosphere, especially knowing they had only been open for about a week at the time!

Terrible food, and talk to manager and he was very rude couldn’t eat anything but corn bread. Had super high hopes for this restaurant and was nothing but disappointed. A group of us all ordered the brisket sandwiches. Food came out with the wrong sides with wrong sandwich (some had no picketed jalapeños and some on the side). They took the food back and I could tell that the fries that were on my tray were just picked up and moved to the right tray as my tray had greasy fry residue left all over but we tried to have good spirits. The food was so cold we sent it back only for the food to come out made wrong again. After asking to talk to the manager he told us he may be able to give a discount but since we took a bite we ate it and he couldn’t comp it. The Manager was very unprofessional in the way he spoke to us and handled the entire situation. While we were super excited about this place we were completely disappointed. I am only sharing this because it’s a new restaurant and have high hopes for its future. My wife and I had 4 drinks. Total of three different margaritas and I tried and old fashion. All 4 were top shelf price but tasted like the mix/soda they were made with. Drinks - Terrible Ratio 1/5. Appetizer came - Spicy queso - all you could taste was the franks red hot (or equivalent) they used to make it spicy. When mixed there was almost no flavor. Better luck with a jar of queso from Festival. Appetizer 1/5. Entree came. I had the brisket sandwich $19. Sandwich was tiny for the price. Taste was OKAY but no TEX taste about it. Came with a PILE of waffle fries which was a WASTE. 2/5. Wife got a pulled pork burrito bowl. Next to no flavor. 1/5. I was really looking forward to trying Cowboy Mac’s with all the buzz around the new Great North Commons in Green Bay. The concept sounds great—Tex-Mex with Nashville vibes, live music, and a rustic patio—but the execution just isn’t there yet.

I ordered the “Juicy Lucy” taco, expecting something bold and flavorful, but it came out dry and forgettable. Drink service was slow, and our server was clearly new and struggling. I walked in excited and even said I’d try everything on the menu, but left disappointed.

Having been to Nashville many times, this place doesn’t come close to what it’s trying to emulate. There’s potential here, but they’ve got a lot of work to do before I’d return.

Manager “Danny” was extremely unprofessional when we came during the draft. We had an issue with our drinks and he handled it terribly, not offering me a fixed drink or drink credit or anything. The rest of the bar staff performed amazing, working as hard as ever. The chips were hard and the bacon was more like Canadian bacon.

Our server was amazing though. He served us on the final day of the NFL Draft and was super attentive and on top of things despite now crazy it was with the NFL Draft crowd.

I think this place has the ambiance, views, and potentially great vibes to be successful on event nights but I am concerned for some of the food quality and service(understanding this is new so I'm hopeful it will get better). My first concern is the food, tex-mex torpedoes sound amazing on the menu until they arrive to your table and the bacon is very rubbery and chewy so a bit more cripsyness would have went a long way, also the Cadillac Cowboy bowl had some pretty dry steak, overcooked shrimp and mushy rice as if it wasn't made fresh. Carolina pulled pork sandwich- flavor wise was good along with the coleslaw and pickles but definitely could've use old more pulled pork, waffle fries were abundant and very good. Brisket sandwich was good! One of our friends stated the carnitas tacos were very dry and would have liked to see some type of salsa with the tacos. Our server was nice and pleasant although it was interesting that we placed our app order and we were not able to place our dinner order until the apps were at the table, which is fine maybe that's the process here but even after getting our food and waiting for the bill or even a refresh on drinks took a bit longer than usual. I won't say that I will not be back but with other options so close, the competition is fierce and convincing me to comeback on a regular night that doesn't have an event will be a tough sell.

First, what vibes and what a view of Lambeau!! We loved this place. From the staff welcoming us to the booths to the food, we had a luxurious experience for lunch.
