I love their Country Fried Steak. Very delicious. It reminds me of the food my folks and I would order on vacations down South. The staff are always courteous and prompt with my takeout order and the store is always stocked with something interesting. If you need something to decorate the house for any holiday, they have wonderful choices.

Went to have lunch here yesterday and couldn't decide what to order as there are many choices. I finally decided and waitress ( phenomenal) came back and said they ran out of meatloaf! So it was back to the menu to decide again. I ordered fried chicken strips which were very good. Was able to get two sauces and they were delicious as well! It came with two sides which were yummy! I had the meatloaf (which surprisingly didn't come with gravy). It was a good-sized serving and very tasty. My wife had the rainbow trout and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sides were good, as well. The restaurant was very noisy, making conversation difficult at lunch time.

My party was told it would be a 30-40 minute wait for a table. We didn’t mind and perused the store and sat outside. After 50 min we asked how much longer it would be and were told they couldn’t tell us. We noticed that there were many empty tables in the dinning area and asked if we could sit at those tables pushed together as we had a party of 7. We were told no as it was a safety hazard. They could have just sat us at two tables across from each other if that was the case. After 80 minutes we were told they could seat us. Our waitress came to the table and said she would be right back to get our order. That took another 10 minutes. We ordered drinks and our food right away. Our drinks didn’t come for another 15 minutes. We overheard someone say that the kitchen was backed up. One member of our party had asked if they could order the cinnamon rolls as an appetizer for the table and the waitress said she thought they were out of them but would bring some if they had it. We never heard back until our food was delivered and she said she would check with the kitchen to see if they had any at that time. We never got them. Biscuits and gravy were supposed to come with one of our meals and other than the basket for the table, they never arrived. The waitress was unapologetic when a member of our party asked about something with their food being wrong and essentially passed the blame to the kitchen stating “it’s not my fault.” We were polite and were met with dismissal and no one who would take accountability. When asked to talk to the manager, again there was no apology for the long wait times, missing order items with no updates, or poor service overall. Other than shopping in the store, I haven’t eaten at a Cracker Barrel in years and can. Honestly say I won’t return. An apology goes a long way in customer service.

The food was absolutely stellar; even better than I remember from my childhood. So as long as you don't mind a 30-minute wait for a party of 6 during hours that aren't very busy to be seated only to be followed up with nearly 40 more minutes of sitting at your table without a waiter or waitress coming by, having to get up and inform the hostess that you have yet to be waited on, and then to wait another 45 minutes for your food to show up after your waiter finally takes your order. Then to have them missing your child's food and one of your sides and only come back to check on you once for any refills or other things. But other than that, the food was fantastic and I'd definitely go back again if I wanted to spend 2 1/2 hours on a single meal.

Tanesha did such a great job as our server earlier today!! She was being double, even triple sat at some times in different waves. She would be so quick to clear and flip her tables while constantly being on top of refilling our drinks. Tanesha was very patient with our menu questions and overall had such a great attitude. As a server I am appalled. There was 2 servers 1 cook- no busser. There were 10 tables not cleared off while the manager Dewan stood there with his face in whatever is on that tablet they carry around. The host- don’t get me started.. didn’t speak a word and sat people at dirty tables. Finally the manager came out and bussed a few tables taking tips off and keeping them as we asked the server if she recieved them she said no. Whoever runs that is doing an excellent job and should be showing some type of appreciation. I had a chance to talk what I think was a manager of the gift shop I seen her name was Lisa very very nice. I travel across the country extensively and eating at known establishments gives me some sense of normality. However over the past few years, Cracker-barrel has been one of my least patron places.
The food quality has fallen shot of what it once was. It all seem pre-prepared. The only thing that seem fresh is the fried eggs and most of the time they are cold. Like they were the first things cooked.
I know they had a change of high management a few years ago. My Family wanted to go here.
The pancakes were decent everything else was just above room temperature.
This has been my experience no matter what State or City I am in. So the problem is not with the individual restaurants. It’s a company problem.
The waitress was nice and did a good job. None of this was her fault. The staff was nice.

Not too happy right now. I went in to pickup an order I placed. As I approached the area where the orders were to see if mine was among them, a server woman started yelling excuse me over and over and almost walking over me. Instead of telling me I couldn't be over there or too close to the order shelf she proceeded to humiliate me in front of the busy shop filled with people. I placed my order a little after 11am for a 2pm pick up. Got to the restaurant about 130 and went inside for my order, told them i know im early ill just roam the store. First I was told they didn't have an order from me, then I was old they only had the chicken out of the 5 menu choices they had. I had wanted the beef. They got the manager out right away. I told him I drove almost 30 minutes for this and want a refund. He left, and another worker comes up and says we just got your order. Manager comes back with paperwork showing the full refund. Went here while visiting on our gurls trip on 7/19/25, It was very friendly and the food was good. Our waitress was friendly and very kind and soft spoken. We recently went to Cracker Barrell on a Sunday, late morning. (it was our Anniversary, really looking forwatd to going, hadnt been for awhile) We were VERY VERY disappointed 😞 in our FOOD. The portion sizes, very small(ie... hashbrown casserole) just barely 1/3 of a cup, sausage patties maybe about 1 1/2in in diameter, 2 small pieces of French toast(which were not very hot, butter wasnt melting much) i asked for blueberry syrup, which was really good really blueberries in it, but it could have been warmed up!! Quality was also very poor.... hashbrowns we could tell were of the rehydrated kind and weren't completely done rehydrating.. And were luke warm at best. My husband had biscuits and gravy, 3 tiny flat (NOT FLUFFY AT ALL) 😑 biscuits just slightly bigger than the little sausage patties, worse he only got 2 patties, not even 3(one for each biscuit) and gravy was on the side and congealed top, already(luje warm) when it did finally make it to table(he had to ask them for it). So needless to say our Anniversary breakfast, i was so looking forward to, was NOT so good!! I will say the grits were good though and our server, Kevina, GREAT!! loved her happy, smiley, friendly face!! 😊

We generally have a good experience, but today was disappointing. We picked this place for breakfast on a road trip because we usually get fast service - not the case today! From start-to-finish as a table of 2, we were there an hour and a half! We had to ask for coffee refills, a spoon, he forgot the honey we had to ask for. Adjacent tables were getting their meals before us for having sat down after we did. Only when we asked where our food was was it magically “right up”. The homestyle chicken was much smaller with far less breading and overdone! Pretty sure our food was under the hot lamp for a while, it just wasn’t that fresh kind of warm.

The service was pretty good. The food was okay as well. The only thing was the first batch of corn muffins came out too brown and overcooked. The waitress promised us a fresh batch but we never got them. We waited for a while before eating our food but couldn’t wait any longer.

My partner and I don't normally go out to eat. We started to go here as a once a month thing. This was our second time coming and not a great experience. Our waitress took our order which was normal. After we got our drinks she never came back. We watched her to go many tables and watched 5 family's get their food before us. Our order was two build your own meals, we only got eggs, baccon and hasbrowns nothing crazy. It was an hour later and still no food. Finally we just get up to leave and she tells the casher our food just came out. After I explained what our order was we went back to ask her why it took so long, our waitress told her she had too many tables and gave us our food to go. This was beyond a scraping the barrel answer our food was cold so it's been sitting there that whole time. She could have asked anyone else to give us our food or even not take a table right away. This has definitely made an already hard thing for us to do into an experience I walked out paying almost $40 for and not really wanting to go back.

We always enjoy this particular location and have never had a bad experience with food or service. Love all the Southern sides, country fried everythang and the overpriced but nostalgic gift shop.

The place needs a definite remodel. Went there with my husband and son. They didn't mind it. I didn't like it. And way to noisy. And to long of a wait. Won't see me nor my family again. Went there a few years ago

Food is great. But this is the worst cracker barrel we have ever been to. Been there multiple times and every time its been a really long wait to be served and to get our food (last time we waited 2.5 hours). I think we've given up on this one
