We rented the 2nd floor event space for a happy hour and speaker event, and could not recommend it more. The planning process was straightforward and clear, with the events team being very transparent about pricing and prompt with replies. They helped us with setup on a TV and provided a mic/speaker. The cocktails and food were delicious, with many people commenting on how great the selections were for all dietary needs. The overall event cost also fit within our budget for a small event. Thank you to the Craftsman team for being wonderful hosts for our space, we will definitely look to rent from them again!

I have been a customer of Craftsman for years, but we hosted our first event with them yesterday in their upstairs event space. Everything from start to finish was exceptional. Josie was the event coordinator who we worked with and she was communicative, efficient, and flexible. The planning process went incredibly smoothly thanks to Josie! The event itself was also well-executed, thanks to Jake and the event team. He went above and beyond ensuring all guests were comfortable and happy. The food was amazing and the prices were reasonable, with many diverse options for people with specific needs or dietary restrictions! The potatoes, salmon, and asparagus were especially delicious. We will definitely utilize them again in the future and would recommend for business events or really any gathering!

Three of us chose to eat here on a holiday and made a reservation for just after opening, which was fortunate, since within 30 minutes, it was busy. The regular menu is quite varied. We chose the smash burger, fish and chips and the walleye! All wonderful choices! Actually, the walleye was better than any walleye I’ve ever had! We also loved the cheese curds, by reputation one of the best! And they didn’t disappoint. I’ve been here several times. This is one of my favorite restaurants for casual dining. Been to the Craftsman many times Generally good food and service.. Ate outside with beautiful Sept. 1 weather. Service and server were fine. One of us had the chicken bacon ranch salad and it was fine. I had the reuben and that was very disappointing.
The meat had a lot of fat on it, there was no dressing inside the sandwich and bread was dry and had not been properly buttered and grilled. Also, the pub chips were very greasy not the normal pub chips. Craftsman should just take this off the menu if they can't do it right and find some better pub chips.

Visited during Restaurant Week for lunch, everything was great except the dessert. My wife and I had the same dessert but mine was totally different than hers, the crust on my pecan bar was dry and crumbly and her’s was soft and creamy and flavorful. I should have asked for a different dessert but I didn’t.

Starting this by saying that even though there were missteps on our first visit... they handled it absolutely amazingly and we're so very kind. Nativity was our server and she was just an absolute ray of sunshine. ❤️‍🩹
We sat outside with my dog, I had a Gluten-free bun with their craft burger and their cross cut fries. The burger was over done, but not burned so I didn't say anything and the fries were cold. I made a comment that I didn't get something of my order, because I didn't want to be charged for something I didn't get, the manager was sent out and comped the whole meal. 🤯
I didn't ask for that, and even still tried to pay. 😅 But they were just so nice and completely over the top with hospitality. Very refreshing and will definitely be back.

We ordered the BBQ hamburger and added bacon and waffle fries, as well as the Caprese risotto with salmon. The burger itself was underwhelming—very little flavor and definitely not worth the $17 price tag. The bacon was the best part, adding some much-needed taste, but overall it fell flat. The Caprese risotto was just okay, and at $18 it felt overpriced for what you get. The salmon ($6 up charge - which felt worth it), however, was the highlight of the meal—perfectly cooked as requested and tasted great.

I was disappointed to find out that the rooftop patio is now closed and now only for private parties. Over the years we have enjoyed the outdoor eating space. They have outdoor spaces, but I'm not a fan of sidewalk tables. Not sure if this is a staffing issue or just a business plan change, and it didn't take away from the staff and food quality, It's just sad that it will factor where I choose to go when I want to enjoy an outdoor eating space.

HORRIBLY overpriced 2025 Mother’s Day brunch… $54/person and you had to book with a $20 deposit that was non-refundable… and we had to walk up and down stairs to the buffet, while dodging staff, kids, etc. Juice wasn’t even included, only coffee and soda.

Today: The service is still phenomenal. The atmosphere is the same. The food on the other hand has taken a turn... Tonight I had my usual the fried walleye. The fish was perfect, everything else on the plate was dismal. Sorry but no more curry pickles, you now just get a generic spear. No more fresh crosscut fries as mine were lukewarm and mush. The recipe has changed for the coleslaw and no more toasted rye bread. $24 for an edible fillet of fish is just too much. SO, I then ordered the Reuben. Well same soggy rye bread, little to no sauerkraut, and the meat is just huge chunks of toughness with grissle and tendons... On top, no more fresh cooked kettle chips as now you get cold oil rich chips. I also ordered the creme brulee. Well, it was probably the oldest in the fridge. The hard sugar coating was liquid and the custard was stale. If you are considering breakfast, that's a hard pass for me too. The breakfast is just as bad. Overcooked rubber eggs and the biscuits and gravy could be used as hockey pucks. Sorry, but not sorry it's time to move on to another restaurant as this one I can no longer support. Too bad for everyone...

My pal & I went there on a Tuesday at 330p for an early dinner. I was undecided what to try & wanted to try the Mac n Cheese and I had a nice salad. My pal had a Rueben sandwich which she loved. We had cheese curds appetizer & creme brulee for dessert - both were excellent.
We also had Old Fashioned cocktails which the server took additional time to explain some options to us. And from 3-530p weekdays is Happy Hour with Old Fashioneds at $5!

This was my second attempt here. The first time I tried a few appetizers and was immediately turned off. The "award winning cheese curds" were so terrible that they gave me a coupon to come back and try them again.
This time I tried the cheese curds again, I would not say they were award winning. Batter was light but you could taste the grease. Everything was super greasy (curds, onion rings - the onion was still crunchy on the inside). Burgers were waaay under cooked. Sirloin on the Sirloin sandwich was super dry. Service wasn't desirable. This was a Tuesday evening around 5pm and they just opened and were not busy.
I don't think I'll be returning a 3rd time.

The other day me and two friends went it's lovely looking in there super clean great vibes. we ordered cheese curds which were to die for they were really the highlight unfortunately for the rest of our meal. It was not as good my vegetarian burger had a bunch of mushroom slices? That were deep friend and then used as the main meat of the sandwich. it lacked a lot of flavor cause it was a bunch of fried mushrooms on bread. The waffle fries that came with it were very good, but it seemed like even if you ordered the meat version the people at the table around me agreed it was just fine to below average. I think there close but there missing that like really good sauce and flavor punch a burger should have right now it's just like yeah this is a burger. In not the good way. As former residents of Middleton, one of the things we enjoyed the most was the abundance of great places to dine. Craftsman Table & Tap is surely one of the places. The brunch menu on a Saturday was a nice surprise that we hope to enjoy another day. I fully recommend the pretzel board for the table. They serve it with stone ground mustard, honey mustard, cheese sauce, and sliced pickles. We were impressed with all of the sauces and mustards. We really enjoyed the pickles, which we think were made in-house. I've never thought to add cumin in my pickle brine, but it added a great flavor to the pickle. There was a large selection of craft beers, including an Oktoberfest series. They tap a new Oktoberfest every week. It is on the high end of the price scale, but we would not let that deter us from going back.

The best dinner I've had by far on my visit here. I got the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, fried cheese curds, a salad, and chocolate mousse.

The salad was *phenomenal*, very fresh and with a really good variety of raw fresh veggies on top. The cheese curds were delicious even the next day when I took them out of the fridge and reheated them.

The sandwich was incredible - the coleslaw on it was really a game changer. I want to go back to get more sweet potato fries.

The mousse was delicious, but I was so full from dinner that I only took one bite before I put it in the fridge for later.

Food was not great this time. Went for restaurant week . Loaded fries came out room temp & soggy, not crisp. Fish tacos were way overcooked/rubbery with too much sauce drenching the dry, hardened blue corn tortillas which fell apart from all the sauces. Gazpacho was good & unique. Smashburgers were OK but nothing special. Beet Salad & Chocolate creme brulee were very good

The atmosphere is very nice for what we expected to be a pub, we felt a little underdressed, and that MAYBE explains our poor treatment by our server. The cheese curds were as good as advertised and my beer from Odd Side ales was tasty. Everything else was a disappointment. I had a double smash burger, it was tasty but fell apart in my hands and was difficult to eat. My son had the grilled cheese and found the apples in the sandwich off putting. He asked the server for a spoon for his soup but she never brought one. My wife had the fried chicken sandwich and asked for no coleslaw, but it was delivered with a heaping helping on the sandwich. She had to remove all toppings to get it off and ate the sandwich plane. She was not at all impressed. We were never asked about our food. We were never offered refills on drinks until we were done with our meals. This was at 5:00pm on a Sunday and they were not at all crowded. I do not anticipate ever going back and would not recommend to a friend.

Flawless service from our server Nina and her colleagues that set up a table for 17 and marvelously served each course. Our overseas guests from England and Switzerland were enthralled by the pub-meets-Prairie School atmosphere and the excellent food and drink that included the Friday Night battered walleye as well as the potato crusted variety. CT&T continues to be a family favorite, thank you!

Our server was super friendly, quick and knowledgeable. Even turned on the soccer game for us that we wanted to watch. We had some specialty orders(including vegan)and all came to the table correct. Food was good and servings big. Great experience!!
