We go here all the time and the food is outstanding! Most times are for pickup, but we also eat in from time to time. The owner is there almost every time we go, and he is extremely nice and helpful. There was a mistake in my order one time, he fixed it immediately, which is all you can expect. We all make mistakes.
You have to try the cheese curds! But the burgers are good, lasagna is good, the filet is good, really everything is good!

Took the fam out for fish fry Friday seeking a different tune than the Chancery, which sets the bar, IMHO. The service and ambiance were top notch. One entree--the WISCO Burger, drew rave reviews, but unfortunately, Crave's fish fry left a lot to be desired. Greasy, soggy, and notably unseasoned beer battered walleye and cod. Some of the walleye had strong fishy taste which is often due to not trimming off "dark meat" and two of our four party members had diarrhea following the meal (walleye). I imagine this fish fry is time tested and has its fans, but if I were management, I would take this constructive feedback and discuss changes from a continuous improvement context; Crave's fish fry doesn't hold a candle to Chancery's.

Just wanted to update my review.

We have been faithful customers since the last review, 6 years ago! Crave is on our top five restaurants. I've never had anything that wasn't delicious! I think the servers all know us as the honey mustard family. The honey mustard is to die for, esp on the wings and fries! I love this place. I only wish we could visit more often. Burgers, wings, filet mignon nachos, steak fajitas, etc. All fantastic!

1st time at this place on a Friday night looking for a place to eat in Mequon. Wow! So happy we came here. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Next time i will take pix before devouring the food. Brisket quesadillas were so good. The wings were fantastic but the best thing we had were the filet mignon sliders! Omg! That's all i can say! Desiree was a fantastic server. Helpful and knowledgeable. Her recommendations were on point and appreciated. Will be back again.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I don't feel like I have a choice here. Had takeout fish fry Friday night. Had not eaten for several hours, and I was not ill at all, my husband and I had the same thing, except I ate the coleslaw. 3-4 hours later I had ALL the symptoms of food poisoning. So painful, so awful. We tried to talk directly with the restaurant who let us know that wasn't possible. We weren't even asking for anything except acknowledgement. No, impossible. Without acknowledgement and an effort to do better, everyone should know. I would not have written the review if they had owned it!

My wife and I love this place. We always try to sit in the bar area. We come for dinner & start with martinis that are always very good. If we have an appetizer we go with the Ahi Tuna. The salads are big, fresh, & filling so I do the filet mignon salad & she does a chicken caesar. The service is spot on & the tunes they play in the bar make me feel like they have been waiting on me to show up. Crave knocks it out of the park! Every time I've visited this restaurant it's been great! It's clean, we'll managed, the food is great tasting, we'll prepared and the staff are trained and professional. The drinks are good too. Recommend the fish fry, the best Baby Back Ribs I know of, the sweet potato fries, and the apps like Eggplant Strips are really tasty and always freshly prepared. The parking is horrible, the entire place feels so cramped inside and the food was just average. I really don't understand why this is such a "local fav". Cheese curds with ranch and jalapeño ranch were very good, creamy cheese, good taste. jalapeño ranch mild, not overwhelming. Had peartini, and peach pomegranate martini, also very good. All food came out quickly. 2 large Walleye, very moist and flakey, great taste. A little oily, but it's to be expected with thin batter. Fries were done well, with a touch of lemon, or lemon pepper maybe..good taste. Coleslaw also had a different flavoring that complimented the flavor. Service was fine & my experience was not the server or bartenders fault. However, the food (taste, quality, and presentation) was HORRIBLE. Would give lower than a 1 star if I could. We ordered the grilled sriracha chicken sandwich & a medium rare burger, and the buns on both truly were flat as paper and looked like they were sat on. The sriracha was covered on the chicken like a kids coloring book, and the burger was medium well. Not to mention both were EXTREMELY messy, saugy, falling apart, and the fries were saugy as well. Update to original review: I recently had an order that they made an incredibly serious mistake on. This mistake in my food caused me to become ill, and of course caused severe emotional distress as well. They refused to refund the order. They claimed that it is not possible and offered store credit instead, although I of course will never return after what they did to me. This place is horrendous. I am exploring my options for this unacceptable incident. It is unbelievably appalling what these people do.

Food is very expensive for what it is. It’s okay food but overpriced for the quality. I haven’t found anything I really like. The beyond burger isn’t bad but it’s not like it’s super good either. You can make a better one yourself for much cheaper or get one elsewhere. Orders have been messed up on multiple occasions. Wrong items have been given. Also, the packaging for take out has been messy. The burger looks like everything was slapped together and everything in the meal just tossed into a box. And the fries are cold and soggy. Every time.

Really good food! Boyfriend really enjoyed the Wisco Burger, described it as "a religious experience" because it was so delicious. He also really enjoyed the wings with the honey sauce and thick blue cheese. I had the ribs and quesadillas from the small plates, which were tasty as well. I'm not a huge fan of fries, but these were awesome and I highly recommend them. I liked both the regular fries and the sweet potato fries. My favorite thing was the French onion soup. If you like onions, this place really knows how to make onions taste even more amazing than they already are. Boyfriend enjoyed the Long Island iced tea, he said they were a little pricey but they don't skimp on the alcohol, so he was very happy. The only things I didn't like were parking (it's in a hotel parking lot, and difficult to get in and out of) and the carrot cake we had for dessert. The carrot cake was from a bakery, not made in-house, but the cream cheese frosting wasn't sweet enough and the cake part was too dry. It was pretty though. The owner was present and it was clear that he is there regularly, he greeted us when we came in. Bathrooms were clean. We will definitely be back soon!

I've had a few different dishes before but today's Pizza Margarita was absolutely fantastic. At first, this review was one star; the person who oversees the waiters and waitresses seemed inconsiderate to my grandma for wanting the dimming curtains pulled up. She has bad eye sight.

This ended as a five star review because of the actual waiter and waitress who served us. Met my husband here for a quick drink and ended up ordering food. Wanting something more on the healthy side, I picked the Mediterranean Hummus Plate. I also asked if I could have a side of sliced red onion, cucumber and tomato on the side. They were gracious enough to indulge me, and it made for an absolutely amazing meal. The veggies were fresh, the hummus velvety smooth, the olive spread extremely flavorful and the goat cheese seasoned and served perfectly. The only "issue" I had was that I believe the pita points were fried, and I prefer just regular pita bread. Enormous cheese curds, and they were delicious and stretchy! Burgers were very good. Choice of regular or sweet potato fries, both were good. Would like it if places had some sort of sauce to go with the sweet potato fries. Will definitely come back for curds, and to try more things from the menu.
