Overpriced for mediocre food and the food didn’t give “southern,creole,new Orleans” like they advertise. The macaroni and cheese was so flavorless and tasted like alfredo. The wings were huge and basic. No flavor once again. The margarita me and my friend ordered was SALTY. Don’t even get me started on our waitress who sounded like she smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. Was coughing all over the place without covering her mouth. Then once we asked for the bill she rushed us to pay. BLACK PEOPLE don’t waste your money and time here. This place ain’t for us.

1. The rim had salt. I was drinking the margarita with a straw. My drink should not have been salty.
2. I had buffalo wings. Why would I add more hot sauce to BUFFALO wings. I shouldn’t have to add hot sauce to “add more flavor”. Proving my statement about how your food lacks flavor.

Crawdaddy’s is hands down one of my favorite places to eat and hang out. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing. I’ve tried almost every item on the menu and have never been disappointed. The flavors are bold, fresh, and unforgettable.
The atmosphere is always on point. The music, the people, the energy, it’s all a vibe. The staff here are incredible, super friendly and make you feel right at home.
If you go, you have to try the Frogs on a Mound, easily the best frog legs in Wisconsin. Also, their Bloody Mary is top-tier. But my personal favorite is the Cajun broiled oysters, especially during happy hour in the bar. Great food at a great price? Yes, please.
Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, Crawdaddy’s never disappoints. An absolute must-try!

Celebrating my wife’s 65th birthday and all she wanted was to return to Crawdaddy’s with the family. This is the third new location from where we have been in the past … and it just keeps getting better!!!
Food was authentic New Orleans, Gulf Coast style, southern cuisine!!
To start, the bartender was very informative, personable, engaging, knowledgeable, and accommodating!
Our server, Bella+, was truly amazing!
Fantastic atmosphere and spot on decor with the pictures and murals!

Parking lot available right next to the building and some limited street parking right in front. We were greeted right away and seated. This was at 1230pm on a Thursday. Our service was greart, very attentive and thorough. The food was excellent, well seasoned, came out hot and had good portions. Sadly, I did not take pictures before digging in. This is my first time making a review and really haven’t took the time to make one because the food hasn’t made me upset as this place did. I didn’t even get everything I ordered. The rice definitely is not fresh and/or it came out of a box. I go to Nola pretty often so maybe that’s why it just doesn’t taste right but the shrimp po boy doesn’t even seem fresh as well it taste like the shrimp came from those frozen quick dinners. They opened not much longer after I ordered my food so I’m confused why it tasted old.

Dinner was great Had fried chicken greens and mashed potatoes. The service was terrible the waitress was also the host. She was very slow at coming to our table and take our order. I have to tell you the restaurant area was completely empty other than me and my wife. The bar had customers as well as a bartender. It took the young lady 10mins to come take a drink order in which in order to get happy hour drinks you have to sit at the bar. I thought that was ridiculous why just the bar? I just had a hip replacement and wouldn't sit comfortably on a bar stool. So I order 1 drink because there wasnt a special she brought the drink. Then it took 20 mins to take our food order. Took a while to check back on us after our food arrived. We ate dinner which was not much just a few bites.

Went to Crawdaddy’s for lunch with my wife on a Friday (5/16/25) after wanting to try it for years. Should not have gone. Wife ordered the taste of New Orleans which is a sampler of three different dishes. Afterwards, the waitress we had then said it wasn’t really the same as the full dishes. What? Really? Paid over $60+ for lunch and was not satisfied. Also, the waitress we had was pretty gruff and not paying attention to the 4 tables she was serving. Oh, btw, there was only 4 tables that had customers for a Friday at lunch time. My advise, go somewhere else. Not worth the price for what you get!

Hands down the best Cajun style food I have had outside of Louisiana, well north of the mason Dixon line for sure! Price was reflective of the quality! Great Food and Superb Service! After our second time here, I had to write a review. We went at 7 on a Saturday night and the place was busy, no 30 minute wait if we were willing to eat at tables in the bar area. So we did. Chris the bartender promptly provided drink and food menus and became our waiter as well. Wife had Crab Bisque and I had French Onion Soup and onion strings. Both were outstanding. My onion soup probably had a half pound of mozarella baked on top. Chris was very attentive and at least two other wait staff attended to us as well, they also brought hot hard rolls and butter, no charge. House cabernet was delicious and both tap and bottled beer selection was plentiful. I cannot say enough about the teamwork and friendliness of the staff - it was so refreshing, from entering the door to leaving the staff genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great experience. We will be back many times I am sure. Can't wait to try the Friday Fish Fry!

My husband and I decided to try Crawdaddy’s after being at a different restaurant and not receiving any service. We were celebrating our anniversary and looking for a place we hadn’t tried before. Our misfortune at another restaurant turned into an amazing experience at Crawdaddy’s! We would like to thank our awesome server Ayla S. She was so welcoming and helpful during our first visit. We ordered Voodoo Juice, which was so good but works its voodoo magic! For an entree we shared the BBQ sampler and I can say I have never had fried chicken or BBQ this good before (kudos to the chef). Followed up with Beignets… again.. amazing! Thank you Crawdaddy’s for an amazing anniversary dinner and we will definitely be back!

I heard alot of hype bout this place so being from Louisiana and this place sayin they have Louisiana style cookin i came try it out. Well the gumbo is not Louisiana style. This to thick to be considered gumbo. It's more of a stew and snow crabs do not go in Louisiana seafood gumbo. We use blus crabs in gumbo. Not enough rice nor is it wrth wht I paid. My partner and I went to crawdaddys for the first time on Monday for lunch and loved it so much we went back again for dinner Friday. This is probably our new favorite restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, the environment is wonderful and the customer service is 10/10!! Since moving here from the South, I’ve been craving Southern cooking. I was searching for restaurants in the surrounding area, and this popped up, so of course, I had to stop in. My expectations were low since we are in the Midwest, and I’ve had authentic Southern cooking. Can I say WOW, this was incredible. I started with the crab and corn bisque (I know I should have gotten the gumbo). It was delicious! Perfect amount of crab and creamy soup goodness. I also wanted to try their crawfish Rangoons, which I’ve never seen before. They were delicious as well. For an entree, I had to try their fried chicken. It’s half a bird and fried to perfection. I’m a sucker for some good crispy fried skin, and I would scarf it down more if I didn’t eat heavily before on appetizers. The chicken came with a side of potatoes, gravy, and greens. I swapped out the greens for red beans and rice, which were also delicious. I’ve said delicious multiple times already, but it indeed was. I also got the beignets to go so I could eat them with powdered sugar all over my face in peace. Paired with the raspberry sauce, it was incredible. I'm glad I found a go-to place for some good Southern cooking.

I have dined in here at least 4+ times. Today (Saturday) around 1pm I dined in for brunch. I had the unlimited mimosas for $25. (Strawberry & the Bellini) The chargrilled Parmesan oysters (very meaty) sourdough French toast with cinnamon, whipped cream & fruit, fried alligator & a chicken leg..seasoned really well (fresh from the grease) everything was absolutely delicious & came out hot! & my waiter terry was very attentive & kept checking in on me. Love this place! I went here for the Oyster happy hour. They’re $1 during happy hour and there’s no limit on how many you can get. You do have to sit at the bar or the bar tables for the special. First come first serve. Staff was VERY friendly. Typically, when I go to places and get oysters during happy hour, they tend to be on the smaller side . At this place, you get your moneys worth! These oysters were huge! And delicious. I usually get two dozen but I had only gotten ten. Definitely will return again for the special!

A friend reserved a table for 8 and they didn't know anything about the reservation. We were served very slow, we would be sitting waving down a server to bring drinks and water and the food.... definitely not going back for. It was subpar at best and that was only the chicken. There were no utensils for the partially shucked oysters and the seafood etufee was very bland and bad tasting. It was a very unfortunate experience for a bill that was well over 500 dollars. We waited over 20 min for the server to come back and she offered me a box for the food I barely even touched and never asked how the food was or if we were enjoying ourselves. Then it was 2 peoples birthday but they had to split a square of bread pudding that was about an inch square. The best thing on the menu was the biengets. It was a terrible experience....

You can tell the place has a lot of people who regularly go there it was packed. I took my daughter out for the all you could eat crablegs today. For the price of $70/person I expected way better quality crablegs. They started is off with 2 claws, one that looked as if it was dragged across the bottom of a boat, and was anorexic, and the other claw was decent, and it got worse from there. I don't care for the 18%gratuity they automatically tackle on, especially with just 2 people, and what if the service is terrible, in just don't like that but I was forewarned. But what I didn't expect was another FEE to use my credit card of $6 +!!! Come on! Each new request for more crab we were sent less and less crab to the table for all you can eat! This trolling restaurant offers, comfort, classics, and soul food.

We stopped in for the all you can eat crab legs. This happens on the second Sunday of each month. I highly recommend getting a reservation in advance if you are going for crab legs. We walked in and had to put a reservation in for two hours later.The crab legs were pretty good. Above average for all you can eat.

We also picked up some fried chicken to go. It was good for a half price pricing… But it would not have been worth the full menu pricing.

Doesn’t really feel like a restaurant. More like a bar that serves food. After my second visit this seems like a place that should have been on Kitchen Nightmares… My first visit was nice. I only had drinks, oysters and the fried green tomatoes. Second visit I got drinks and oysters but decided to try an entree. The Oxtail soup. 2/10. The sides were greens and cornbread. At the price of $32 you would expect better. I only got two oxtails, which was nice and tender but the soup itself was really bland and OILY. Even after adding salt and pepper I couldn’t finish it. My sides came out cold. And I’ve never had “sweet” greens before. Even hot sauce couldn’t help them. And my cornbread had something in it. They replaced it of course but at this point I was over it. I got my check and saw I was charged for 3 drinks when I ordered 2. Pointing this out to the bartender she caught an attitude, told me she wasn’t going to argue with me and walked off. I ordered my second drink before I even finished my first one. Finished my first drink and had to ask her AGAIN for my second one. But it was pretty obvious she put my drink order in and just never gave it to me because the second drink was watered down like it had been sitting out for a while. Wasn’t even the same color as the first drink I had. I’m assuming because I had to ask twice she assumed I had the second drink when I didn’t. Had we talked there wouldn’t have been any issues but because she was rude while I was simply just trying to talk now it’s a problem and I will be reporting her as well. And thank god I was sitting right in front of a camera. I get it’s busy on Fridays, she was doing a lot but don’t give customers attitude when YOU messed up. So with all that said, oysters are a yes here! But I won’t be eating any other “main” items off their menu and if this same lady is bartending I won’t be ordering drinks either.

The service was fine & the food was really good I went with me and 3 of my sisters I will rate everything we got. The prices are also pretty decent as well.
-Fried chk 5/5 super tender & crispy
-Mashed potatoes & gravy 5/5 top tier
-Greens 3/5 was good but to sweet for me
-Red beans& rice 3.5/5 had good flavor but didn’t taste like red beans and my sisters was full of fat. Like 90%
-Oxtails: 2/5 tender but super sweet and had some weird flavor
-Blackened catfish etoufee 5/5 my sisters loved it
-Mahi fish tacos 5/5
-Fried green tomatoes 5/5 really good
-Crab dip 4.5/5 good but felt like it was missing something
-Frog legs 4/5 could use more seasoning

First visit for two friends and I. One friend had the taste of New Orleans and didn't like it at all. I had the Creole jambalaya and thought it was very good. My other friend had the tenderloin Cajun pasta and thought it was very good. I sampled my friend's taste of New Orleans and agreed that it wasn't very good. The atmosphere was very nice. I found the service just okay. I felt that the menu prices were more than reasonable and offered a good value.

Portions are very small for the price and they decide to put a 18% gratuity on the bill and they didn't even tell me and I tip the server also so they got double tipped I was a waitress that is just shady

Mark was our server and we had a great time! My family came from out of town to celebrate my brother’s birthday and we received perfect service! Great bourbon selection, and the fried chicken and beignets are a must!

I haven’t been here in a number of years. But frequented a ton. Food came out seconds after we received our drinks, so I’m guessing none of the food was fresh. Burger King takes longer to prepare. Both of our dishes lacked flavor which was a complete disappointment especially when it was my fiancés first time and all I could do is rave to him about the quality and flavor. I had the Seafood Étouffée and every bit of seafood was old and overcooked. The greens were lacking flavor as well, first time I ever had to put a hot sauce on them. We ordered double tall for our alcoholic drinks and there was absolutely no alcohol in them at all. For what we paid and what we received I would have given 0 stars but had no choice. Needless to say I probably will not be back if this is the new norm. The waitress never even asked how our meals were. What a sad experience not how CrawDaddies use to be. On a positive note, the french fries were the best, but we did only end up getting the bottom of the bag. Not to mention there was an 18% gratuity applied to our bill. I only thought that happened on parties five or more.

Always great food and service. Awesome crab ragoons and crab dip to start with hurricanes and sidecars for cocktails. The pork was Amazing! A vinegar flavor that was great! Shrimp n grits n bacon always spot on and delicious. All I can eat chicken on Mondays is very popular.

I’m Creole and I know I can be very hard on restaurants that don’t hold up. I’ll say the flavors weren’t bad. My fried crawfish tails were overcooked and too hard. There was no meat to chew on. And for $15 there should be more and the meat should be tender. I’ve had fried crawfish tails at an establishment called Fishbones in Detroit and it was fantastic, meaty and a great Cajun coating. And they gave three times as much and it was cheaper. The rest of the food was decent. My fried catfish was pretty good, and my Cajun shrimp pasta (substituted sausage with scallops) was very very delicious. But fur $30+ there should be more than 2 pieces of shrimp and 2 scallops. This dish costs way too much for it to be mostly noodles, mushrooms and peppers. You all need to do better about the quantity to price ratio. There should be triple the amount of shrimp and scallops in that dish. Very disappointed. I appreciate the effort but you got to do better with what you’re offering in relation to your prices.

Live music was adative. Too many places have live music so loud you go deaf. This was supplementary and really provided atmosphere. Three of us had dinner. One kids grilled cheese with alphabet tots, one Cajun sampler (jambalaya, gumbo, seafood entefou), one Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. All were excellent. Abita is hard to find outside Louisiana. We will definitely be back.

This may be my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. Oysters are phenomenal and jambalaya is out of this world. Honestly, I've been here over 10 times and have never had a bad experience or a bad bite of food.

Ate here twice. Both times when I was visiting from out of town. First time was spot on. Service and food was spot on. Highly recommend the fried chicken. Second time they forgot one of our food orders but they made it right. Free desert and a little discount. Will be back.

It was good. Service was not there, but the manager was floating around making up for the lack of service from the server. Which was great! The food would have been spectacular when it was still hot, I just never got the chance to try that. I'm assuming it was an off evening. I will give them another try.

I’ve been here 5 times now and I’ve only been happy 2 of them. Tonight was another huge let down. My shrimp po boy was very underwhelming and the tiny shrimp were all overcooked and still had tails on. Even the waitress admitted the sandwich looked off. Definitely not worth $18. She ended up giving me $3 off by not charging for my friend’s soda(not sure how that helped me). The first time I was there they over salted my blackened catfish I couldn’t even eat it. I want to like this place but I feel the quality of food has definitely gone down, prices are high and service isn’t that great. Tonight was probably the last time I’ll go here.

I had one of the best Red Stag Old Fashioneds in my life at the bar here, and the Cajun broiled oysters were delicious as well. We took advantage of their 8 piece chicken deal and were not disappointed by the quality of the chicken at this seafood restaurant. Definitely recommend!!
