Soda tasted weird, with a gross aftertaste. The grilled cheese was cold and not melted at all, cheese curds were so salty they weren’t edible, doubt they would have tasted good anyway! The chocolate cake dessert was a small toddler size for $5, tasted like a bad boxed cake. Service was fine, server was really nice but the food was terrible. TERRIBLE! Worst $55 spent! We left a 20% tip for the server, not her fault the food is terrible!!!

Great little spot to eat! Went in for their first fry Friday. Definitely worth it! Unfortunately they had sold out of a few things, just have to show up early if you have a particular menu item on your mind! I got the fried crawfish tails, alligator bites, and fried cod. Absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at! I had a hamburger and it was not very tasteful and their salad bar was a joke! Took the family for Father's Day dinner. The bar and restaurant are pretty spacious and there's outdoor seating available as well. Indoors there are several large TVs throughout and high ceilings which made the acoustic a bit challenging for conversation in general but especially for members in our party with hearing aids. Otherwise it was bright, the decor is a "sports lodge" vibe.
There was a significant dinner crowd which I consider a good sign. The service staff were all pitching in to keep up and all maintained such warm welcoming attitudes through it all. Regardless of how busy, our service was pretty prompt and food arrived hot and fresh.
We very much enjoyed two of the walleye dinners, a boneless wings meal (was more like fancy nuggets and not wings), and a grilled cheese meal. The mains and sides were tasty and reasonably portioned. Everything was fairly priced: our four meals with no alcohol totalled approximately $66. I will keep this one on my radar.

Crawfish Junction never disappoints! We had the best Bloody Marys around, paired with boneless wings and fries that were hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Updated 11/2024: Service is still good, but the quality and portions have gone downhill. $20 for a tiny portion of gator. Mashed potatoes were firm and lukewarm/borderline cold (couldn't melt a pat of butter). Fried cod was delicious but about 1/2 of what you used to get.

Some of the best fried fish we've ever had. My wife loves their baked cod with bruschetta and parmesan topping. Many of our old go-to restaurants were inconsistent with quality. Some nights it would be great, and others not so much. Crawfish Junction is very good every time we go. The only thing we don't really like is the coleslaw because it tends to be overly watery and not well seasoned. But the fish, chicken, shrimp, crawfish, fries, garlic mashed, rye bread, etc are all fantastic. They even have gator if you are feeling adventurous.

My best homegirl, my lady and I tried the Fish fry here on 10/25/24. We met at 6pm. It was a 45 minute wait for a table. We figured it was worth the wait and it definitely was. I drank some 16oz cans of Miller lite for $3.75 while we waited. We sat outside to get away from the crowd. When our table was ready. They took us upstairs away from everyone. Which was perfect for us! I will say, it's the best fish fry we've ever had. 😋 We've been to many places for fish fry, but this one gets the best of Fish fry award. The service was on point and friendly. Bartenders were quick with the drinks. All around everything is a 5/5. Check it out if you're ever nearby.

Originally was going to eat in. They had NOTHING on the menu for my husband that doesn't eat seafood of any type. The steak said 5-8 oz. Well which is it? Crap shoot. Don't know what you will get. Called to talk to a manager, the gentleman that answered the phone was rude and wouldn't let my husband talk to a manager. He said we should have said something to someone while we were there. I had the shrimp po boy on my last visit but had the trust me burger the time before that. That burger is something special!! Creative and delicious. The shrimp po boy was pretty good and the tarragon lemon sauce was phenomenal. My wife and I visited here on Saturday late afternoon/ evening. The folks are friendly, the environment has this cool pine plank interior; very nice! However, the food was a bit lacking. We ordered the alligator bites, which are $19.95, and we received 15-18 dime and pea sized bites. Unfortunately, all we could taste was the grease in the batter. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu, $18.99, and expected a plump and juicy breast, with a chunk of ham, and a cheesy sauce. What I received was two 1/2" thawed- bagged type chicken breast, lunch meat, and sliced Swiss cheese on top, and it was dry and tough. I ate half of one piece. I will say, my wife's burger, she enjoyed very much. We recognize that this day and age, good labor and keeping the staff has never costed more. I can only imagine...... However, I think you sacrificed enormous quality in your choice of cuts. I do not mind paying more for good quality along with a great dining experience. This meal was $78 for two of us. Great food! I was excited to see the variety of options. The cheese curds and crawfish tail bites were absolutely delicious. I tried the burger special which was the VoodDoo burger topped with ham, jalapeños and ghost pepper cheese sauce. I loved the creativity and despite being a bit nervous about the potential burn of the ghost pepper it was actually a manageable level of heat. French fries were perfectly crispy. I haven’t been to Crawfish Junction in over a decade. Wow! Have you guys grown! Finally got the opportunity to have your fish last night.

Experience:
My party of 8 waited for approximately 30 minutes for a table to open up. It was peek dinner time and we were treated so nicely. Even with my 3 “hangry” children demanding refreshments.

Facility:
It has a log cabin vibe. The building seemed to be a very clean. The bathroom was kept clean and orderly. Their a handful of various brews on tap, a lot of domestic beer to select from, along with some fun themed mixers.

Dinner:
I order the cajun walleye and my wife order the perch. All I can say is absolutely outstanding. Last time I had fish this good was prep on a shoreline in Canada (20 years ago). I was also happy with the quality of kids menu items. Having a picky eater, we were able to find something he likes and actually ate it.

My only complaint with my visit would be the tap beer was a touch warmer than I’d like it. I had 2 Shandy’s and they were a little warm. Still enjoyable just would have preferred them colder.

Nice work Crawfish Junction Staff. Your hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. I hope to visit again soon to enjoy a different menu item. Keep up the good work.
