food is great but DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. We got there 25 min after ordering online and still had to wait another 15 as the servers prioritize walk-in customers. We saw people arrive, make their own salad, and leave, while we waited for our own to get done. Two short ladies one ginger one with a long dark braid worked super hard and were trying their best, i felt bad giving them a hard time, but I was hungry and had somewhere to be lol. Something needs to be worked out so online customers are not bypassed by walk-ins.

Incredibly dissapointing experience today. I placed an order for pickup on the app. I walked in at the time that my order was "promised" to be ready at, but it wasn't ready. (I don't expect it to be ready at the time it says anymore, because out of all the times I've placed orders, they are never ready on time).

Anyway, I walk in and a female worker is already helping me find my order but then another white worker named Jamie approaches me and when I tell him I am here to pick up an order for 'Sammy' he immidiately asks for a receipt. I am confused because I have never been asked to provide a receipt for a mobile order and I tell him that and he says "I don't know what you want me to say" and then points to the pickup area and says "if its a mobile order it would be right there" but there is only one bag there with no smoothie next to it (which I ordered). I went to double check the name on the order on the bag regardless, but I asked him "Is the smoothie inside the bag?" and he says "Did you order a smoothie?" in a very condescending tone. I said yes and repeated my exact order to him.

In summary, the whole interaction felt belittling since I was the only customer "of color" or minority in the shop. I felt as if from the beginning of our interaction he was insinuating I hadn't made a purchase and wanted to make sure I wasn't just inside to steal someone else order and also assuming that I couldn't possible afford the food there.

Shortly after a white customer walks in and none of the workers there ask for his name or a receipt/proof of purchase, they just greet and ask him "Are you here to pick up for (his name)?". I don't care if we have a racist bigot in the Oval Office 'running' this country now, or if you support him and his views and beliefs, but if your job depends on the business of your customers and you are expected to provide satisfactory customer service, I would hope you would leave whatever political and racial views you have at home and not act on them at work. This whole experience and interaction with Jamie on the West Side of Madison location felt incredibly rude and racist.

Lastly, I always order the #SquashGoals salad bowl but there was one time that the chicken was hard and not fresh and another time when the workers definitely gave me a kid's bowl instead of the regular sized bowl that I ordered. Obviously, this was very rustrating because the salad bowl is $14. I would expect quality food every single time if I am paying that much for a salad.

A friend introduced me to Crisp & Green a several months ago and I've been a frequent customer ever since. The wraps, salads, and agua frescas are always fresh & tasty; the staff is very friendly & helpful. I have been particularly impressed by their seasonal salads, the Sunny Honey Picnic in summer & now the #Squashgoals; they're so delicious I find myself craving them. my family and i just walked out because we wanted two wraps: simple..at the end of the line somebody else came to roll my wrap. he couldn’t roll it because the tortilla broke so he took half of my toppings out, wiped his hands on his apron, tried to roll it again but he still couldn’t roll it. so he walked away to grab more gloves. then more of my toppings spilled on the floor. he grabbed a new tortilla then squished my toppings in his hand onto my tortilla.
i was visibly disgusted, so my boyfriend had spoke up for me and said “hey man could you just make another one, you’ve handled that like 4 times already and already took a bunch out, can we just start over?”
dude got super mad- went to the beginning of the line and shouted “what yall want?” with a huge attitude so we left. as we were leaving he shouted “bye” with a bigger attitude. i hope his manager talks to him about customer service & the fact that he doesn’t own this business- so he probably shouldn’t act as such.

I was super excited to see a healthier to go option. I was pretty disappointed in the salad though. For 20.00 for a salad and a drink I expect a pretty big salad. When you do a build your own, you pay for each Topping you put on. I ordered online for pick up. The shredded carrot was maybe 1Tbps worth and I didn't get any jalepeno. I went back in and explained this. The person who helped me did get me some jalepenos to put on the salad but the vibe I got from her made me feel like I was inconveniencing her or asking to much. The salad taste was good, but I don't think I would go here again due to the low value for the money and the customer service.

Love the smoothie bowls and savory bowls here. So many ways to customize everything. I recommend the Seoul bowl, or the teriyaki bowl with tofu instead of chicken, because the tofu is so savory you might think you got the chicken by mistake! Service is always friendly. Ok so we've been coming for a while because when this location first open, we were so happy good tasting healthy food was finally in the area. Unfortunately both the service and food quality has dwindled consistently. The orders keep getting messed up, protien missed, and the customer service has been absolutely terrible! There isn't a friendly greeting, there isn't a repeat back of my order, and more unfortunate is being completely forgotten about all together. The manager on staff seems completely fed up, where my input just goes in one ear and out the other! This is our last time having this awful in house experiences! The tables as well are FILTHY! The chicken tastes funky. When this place first opened, I would frequent 1-2 times a week. Before today, the last time I was there was well before the holidays. The chicken tasted funky that day. Ate here yesterday for the first time and really enjoyed the food. The guy making the salads was nice but somewhere off in left field. I asked for no tomatoes in my salad and he literally made it with tomatoes over and over again and had to start over multiple times. My wife also asked for chicken instead of tofu and that didn't happen either. Also had the total wrong at the end. The main manager their name is Megan She’s a mid, older, white woman,. She’s very prejudice and racist towards people of color. Do not apply here. If you are a majority if you are, Dominican need a black Hispanic Puerto Rican Jamaican do not apply at this facility for your own safety. Two of me and my friends came in a restaurant to get a salad and a treat us disrespectfully just because we’re color but it was two white boys in front of us who got served correctly. Please don’t apply or go eat here you’re better off getting a salad from Chick-fil-A or McDonald’s that taste more fresher and detailed. Normally we have the collective of people who give out grants to property land to build facilities like this, that nobody barely likes to go to only the palm color people entertain these certain environments.

My partner and I have loved coming here. We have probably ordered from crisp and green at least once a week since it opened. We went in tonight looking forward to getting dinner and were greeted by an employee with an headphone in one ear who waved at us and threw a box of gloves INTO the mixed greens. He then stared at the greens and loudly said “It should be fine right? I shouldn’t have to throw the greens away.” His coworker stepped in and told him he should dispose of the portion the box of gloves touched. We walked out of the restaurant after watching this exchange. I don’t know that he would have done anything about the contaminated food if we weren’t standing there staring at him, his coworker was busy doing something else until he asked her about it.
We will not be returning to this restaurant, no point in risking a stomach bug or worse from unclean food prep practices.

I chose to get Crisp & Green for my birthday. I got the wild child grain bowl to go and when I got it home I was really sad to discover the wild rice was raw. This bowl would have been so delicious if it wasn't for the crunchy inedible rice that I had unfortunately mixed up into all the other ingredients.

Place is cute - nice and sunny. I can't attest to the food though -- we never got that far. Tried to go here for lunch on a Wednesday at about 12:15-12:30. There were at least 5-6 employees working, but only one taking care of the walk-in people. We were 4th and 5th in line and waited for maybe 15-20 minutes before we left. He still had not finished with persons 1 and 2 by the time we left. And, while we were in line, 4-5 additional people arrived behind us. I can't imagine how long it would have taken to get through us. The guy working the line seemed scattered -- didn't tell the woman pecans weren't available until the very end (should have said it at the beginning -- maybe she was really looking forward to pecans). He almost dropped a bowl and had to ask one of the women what she ordered, after he had already started making it. Bowls did seem pretty large, but salads were quite expensive and the ingredients didn't seem particularly special. Not sure I want to spend over 15 for a just-ok salad.

Arrived at 10:45AM, when they had opened at 10:30AM. No other customers present but quite a few workers and was not greeted by any of them, besides the manager. BUG IN MY SALAD!!!! I cannot believe this happened. I was literally eating my salad and all of a sudden a bug crawls out. not a small bug either! i was so disgusted and threw out the entire salad. My mom and I went here recently. I am surprised there are not very many vegetarian options. I suppose you could ask for tofu instead of chicken for some of the options and have them be okay. I eat vegan at home and vegetarian when I am ordering out, though prefer vegan if I can.

I ordered the Seoul bowl and my mom ordered the No Prob Cob (minus jalapeno ingredients). Both of our orders were handed to us with wrong ingredients. I should have been paying attention while they made it but was busy talking to my mom.

My bowl was missing a couple ingredients AND instead of tofu it had !!! bacon and chicken! My mom's salad was missing more ingredients than she had asked to take out. The employees couldn't tell us if the bread had any tree nuts in it. Because she has a ton of food allergies, she was worried something may have been added in, and didn't eat her food. I was too flustered and non-confrontational to address this situation with the staff. I believe there was a mishap between our orders. The employee must have been new. He mumbled and was very hard to hear.

The space is nice and clean and not overly loud despite all the hard surfaces. I will try coming back after a month, hopefully they have everything ironed out by then. I will pay closer attention to what goes into the bowl next time.

Absolutely divine. Had the southwest bowl with tofu for substitute & jalapeno lime sauce as well as a date night chocolate smoothie. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were accomodating & well mannered. I felt like royalty, if I were fully transparent. Through every interaction we shared, it was as if they were sensing the burden of a crown on my head. The crown of a country bedeviled by plague & conflicts. The crown of a country with a deep pride in it's progressive culture & surprisingly niche manufacturing & sales success of traditional card decks. Everything is so fresh and wonderful. ⭐☄️It's absolutely lovely and brilliant. I am so glad it is so close to Barnes and Noble and other stores we love to shop at. The parking lot is also so nice and spacious. I had been so excited to try the different menu items and was elated to be able to visit and love everything today. The staff is so nice and beyond helpful... ❤️❤️❤️🦋

The manager was so kind and friendly—she talked to my kids and was interested in what they thought of the food, as well as what the adults in our group thought, and she comped our drink when there was a slight error with the order, even though the error was not the staff’s fault. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and we received it quickly. We got two kids’ bowls, two smoothies, and a salad bowl, and all of it was a win. So happy that there is a salad place on the west side of Madison; we will definitely be back again.

We ordered the smash bowl for my son. First of all they forgot the chicken entirely. The apples and avocado are brown and gross. My order was also incorrect, way suppose to have peanuts that are missing. I tried calling the restaurant 3 times and it went to an answering service with no way to leave a message. This is our first experience and we’re really disappointed. Please contact me to fix this or credit us.

I got the greek-inspired You Feta Believe It salad and my girlfriend got the No Prob Cobb. Both salads were very good although a bit pricey in terms of calories per dollar. Naturally salads aren't going to be super filling, so I'd recommend the grain bowls if that's what you're looking for. The only other thing I'll mention is that in the cobb salad there are jalapenos included. I have a moderate spice tolerance and they were pretty close to unbearable for me, so consider excluding them if you prefer a tamer salad.

Needed a quick option so asked my husband to place a pickup order while I was driving. Online ordering was broken so he went into the store. As the second person in line, it still took 20 min to get the teriyaki bowl. They were out of multiple ingredients for all the people in line - they were out of roast chicken and spinach, so subbed barbecue chicken and arugula (barbecue tastes really strange in a teriyaki bowl). They were out of forks so I ate the salad with a spoon. I know they are new and still working out the kinks, but I’d say wait until they have their systems figured out before you try.

The inside and the photos look beautiful, but the workers need to be trained more on the presentation food.

When asked if we wanted our salad mixed half it fell on the counter and she proceeded to smear it on the counter while picking it up.

I wanted a descent salad cause it was new but we are disappointed.

Ordered a salad and drink delivered through their app. It came and was super tasty, but looking at my past order receipt in the app. it also came with extra fees/tip that were not itemized and not authorized.
Not a fan of places whose staff put in a different tip after the order is complete.
No way to contact them through their app :(

Ordering here is difficult as everything on the menu looks amazing. Ended up with The Bold and the Buffalo and couldn't be happier. It is truely wonderful to have healthy food nearby, can't wait to come again.

So glad to have this place in Madison!!! The food is delicious and healthy! Lots of yummy options and add-ons. We love the açaí bowls but the classic chicken Cesar with broccoli and cauliflower added is the best! Also tried the chicken teriyaki bowl and that was delicious too! Can’t go wrong!
