Went here this morning with my BF and over-ate a bit because the food got me hook-line-and-sinker. So here's my formal review:

Classic dinner aesthetic that reminds me of home: specifically fond memories of a dinner that burned down when I was a kid. Clean, and the creamers were cold like they'd been in the fridge even though he took them extra's off a different table.

2008 dinner and 2008 pricing. It was insane how low the price point for the place is when they have this much variety at such a high quality.

Burger - Big, juicy, nice quantity of toppings, and nice char. Good seasoning, though seasoning is more external with a mild internal flavor in the burger. This is not a bad thing, as it gives a nice island that prevents the seasonings, sauces, and toppings from overpowering the burger. 8/10.
Fries - Thick cut/steak fries come with the burger. Good quantity. BF gives a 7/10.
Soup - Also comes with the Burger. Warm, soft noodles, pleasant chicken taste. Nicely seasoned and BF says that if it were mid winter, it would be heaven. Did not need provided crackers. 9/10.
Coffee - Homey dinner coffee. Not too bitter, not too watery. Soaks up creamer and sugar well. They only have half/half and Original creamer, and your assortment of fake-sugar and Domino sugar packets, but that is the pretty standard dinner arsenal. I had two cups and the refills were free. Pleasant. 8/10.

White Toast - I like to dip soft toast with country crock butter in my egg yolk. This toast is very tough, like toasted french bread, and it was probably either made in house or purchased from a baker, not Walmart white bread. I couldn’t use it for my purposes but as a side toast with jelly, it would have probably been okay. Higher quality definitely, but not a fan. 4/10.

Grassland Whipped Butter can go die. Absolutely terrible brand. -10/10.

Side Cinnamon Apple French Toast - Crack. Airy but moist inside, crunchy outside. Thick cut. Not too sweet, which is amazing because the apple topping gets all the attention it deserves because of it. Sauce is not too sweet, not too cinnamony, and definitely made in house. Definitely apple, and the apples were airy and soft with a small crunch, and fat, so I am convinced they were also made in house. Large portions that are heavenly for an insanely low price. 10/10

Breakfast No. 4 - Ordering strawberries in October was dumb on my part, so I basically sabotaged myself with sour crepes. There were several other fillings/toppings. The crepes themselves were some of the best I’ve ever had. Nice and moist, light, with a very subtle crisp as crepes should be. Paired well with syrup. The egg’s were fine. The bacon was cooked more than my preference and not maple, but again, that’s preference. Not bad. 8/10

Sausage - The sausage deserves its own section. Juicy, real sausage links, with lovely seasoning and flavor. I’d order these solo. 11/10

Lemonade: Tart with a side of sugar. Maybe made in house? 7/10

Our waiter was quick on his feet and very considerate. Made sure we were taken care of. All booths were clean and stocked, and it was shockingly not busy. Somehow they have a large and varied menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options and a sample of some specialty stuff has confirmed that the quantity of options does not reduce the quality. Gordan Ramsey would be shocked to finally find a restaurant that has managed this impossible feat. Amazing.

The only issue I really had was that it's fly season, and the outside flies were becoming inside flies. Not the resturaunt's fault at all. (Where the hell are these things coming from btw? They're swarming outside this year!)

We tipped over 20% and we will be returning for that sausage and French Toast masterpiece. In this economy, this was a gem.

Food was, at best, passable. The strawberry chicken salad was a lump of separate piles on the plate: lettuce, strawberries, pecans, chicken, and feta cheese. It was not mixed, nor did it have a dressing.

A basic hamburger on a bun fell apart on the plate. The club sandwich, I am told, was passable.

I am also told the breakfast menu is fantastic, but lunch is a big failure.

For a place with pancake in the name, you'd think they'd be pretty awesome at pancakes. If that is what you're looking for, just stick with the classic. My pecan pancakes had one half pecan per pancake, for serious. The apple cinnamon pancakes had dry, jellied "apples" placed on top of the stack. Large menu with lots of options so perhaps there are better things to try.

I normally go here for the exact same thing every time. For the most part, it's good. I can't understand why I get a different pay every time. Same price for the food, different pay when the total amount. I know the food is plus tax, but to then ring me out, and it's an extra tax. Then, the card reader has its own tax (he said: it's through a different company). $16 for the food, $18.67 tax ringing me out 19.04 bc the card reader has its own tax as well bc of a different company. Then a tip...Im good on the service from here out.

Me and my wife went here for a breakfast birthday celebration. You could tell walking in it's a mom and pop style restaurant. The place was decent for the most part. It was clean. It has the potential to be even better. So we ordered food, I had a pecan waffle with a side of eggs and hash browns. My wife ordered the salmon eggs Benedict. I enjoyed the waffle, it came nice and hot, the eggs were ok and the hash browns were good too. My wife's food was interesting. The plate was almost completely covered with Hollandaise sauce and the salmon was broken in pieces and looked old. You know salmon, when it's fresh has a light orange color, well this was more like tan in color. For the most part everyone had a good time.

The food is so good. I was excited about seeing blintzes on the menu. I never see them anywhere else. You get three and covered in berries. They were so good. I couldn't eat them all because of the size and all the filling. I was very impressed. Took my leftovers home and enjoyed them just as much for lunch. Prices were very reasonable. The food was surprisingly delicious I loved it it was my first time there and I will go back again and again, a family member does doordash or whatever from there and they loved the food so we decided to go there one day and I loved it the pancakes were very very delicious I had apple cinnamon pancake and it was what I thought it would be but better. I love the fact that the soda is unlimited refills that is a plus. It would be hard for the elderly people to come in because it has stairs at the front door however I still say if you can travel up the stairs it's worth going in there.

Not what I was expecting. i imagined sitting in a quiet, crowded, family diner. From the exterior you certainly could be forgiven for expecting the place to feel too small. However, once I got through the door I saw well spaced tables, soft but efficient lighting, and a delightful aquarium. I never felt like that staff or customers were tripping over each other. Whats more the atmosphere was really brightened up by the live music that started playing shortly after I arrived. I never imagined that what my breakfasts were missing was lively performances by an enthusiastic musician.

The staff were polite, smiled, and attentive. I never felt like they were too busy or forgot about me.

The food was better than i expected too. Usually I go into a diner expecting greasy food, and im sure there is some of that too but i ordered a gyro skillet and asked them to change things on it and they did so easily with out weird looks or seeming annoyed. The food arrived exactly as I ordered it and i was pleasantly surprised to see it was not too buttery or greasey. They even brought me extra feta cheese when i asked with out additional charge.

Overall I had a great experience and will definitely return. Next time I'm back in town visiting my sister I will be back.

I meet with friends once a month to catch up with each other. This particular month we met at cudahy's pancake house. The food was awesome the service was fast and the prices are great. However, there's a person playing on a keyboard and singing. It was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation which is the whole purpose of our lunch. Great food, outstanding service, and cozy, bright atmosphere. I ordered The Skinny Omelet. Fluffy, whipped egg whites, generous amounts of veggies: florets of cauliflower and broccoli, chopped mushrooms and tomatoes and Monterey Jack cheese. So delicious! Fresh melon on the side. I substituted potato pancakes for the English muffin. Yummy! My 7 monthly brunch gals all had different menu items and raved about their food. Thank you for the wonderful brunch! We'll be back!

I was all set to have pancakes and then saw the picture of the taco salad on the menu and had to change it up. The bowl is SO thin and crispy it gives you good flavor without the filling affect that happens at places that use tortillas for the bowl. A detail I really appreciate is the tiny chop on the veggies so you can get all flavors on your fork without needing to cut anything further. Very tasty. Served with sides of salsa and sour cream.

Others in our group of four ordered skillets with pancakes and potato pancakes for sides. All really enjoyed what they were served. The bloodies are very good. Simple and clean. Just a pickle spear. None of the overly done garnish that seems to be a competition at other establishments. Not that those are necessarily bad, I just like not being full before I even get my meal.

On top of it being a great meal, in a great place, provided by great people, the prices are exceptional.

This diner has excellent service and comfortable seating. I had my favorite dish of choice for new places, the Eggs Benedict, and it did not disappoint. Hollandaise sauce was superb, and the portions were generous. Bacon cooked perfectly crispy as are the hashbrowns. BEST CHILAQUILES STATESIDE!! They compared to my favorite location in Colima Mexico! I am VERY picky with chilaquiles! I can't stand it when the chips are soggy! These chips stayed crispy and crunchy through the whole meal. The carne asada was tender and flavorful!! The beans and rice tasted equally as good. Though it's not a spicy chilaquiles, the flavor is spectacular, the salsa Verde was perfect for this gringa! Muy rico!!

This is one of those small, family-owned places that always deliver exactly what I expect, and I love it. Now, I like to stop by a place a few times before I review just as a note. It hearkens back to the ole greasy spoon era of diners. While the food is classic, and portions are satisfying, it could maybe do with an interior update. Maybe that's part of the appeal, maybe not?
