As always Culver's has a great food and great services no matter the location and that's what I love about it, it feels familiar and comfy .this one in particular has a great view of lake Superior/Michigan probable one of the best views of any I've been too you can see bayview from Ashland that's awesome 😎.

This place used to be trash but has gotten better in later years. Night staff is nothing but kids but they were all friendly and created a nice vibe. Place has a nice interior and fearly clean in not busy. Food over all depends on the day, but I swear the chicken has gotten smaller over the years.

What a lovely location right on Lake Superior!! They have a lovely patio overlooking the lake that they deliver your food to! There is a nice walking path and a little trail right to the water. We stayed for over an hour after we were done eating just to enjoy the scenery! The food was good too! 😄

Craig Culver definitely hand-picked this location! This is one of the most scenic Culver's I've ever been to! Imagine eating a butterburger, fries, and custard just above the shore of Lake Superior. Between the food and the view, you can't beat it!!

The only thing negative I want to say is that the chicken tenders have shrunk immensely. They used to be huge and now they look like chicken nuggets. I'm not sure if I got the runt of the batch or if that's how they're serving them now? With that being said, this review still is five stars for me. I was just a little shocked at how tiny the chicken tenders have gotten; they still tasted the exact same as I remember though!

And something else that was odd, was everyone that ordered had to pull up or over and wait for their food, again this may be normal and just weird to me. I had a very horrible experience there. I spoke to two different managers and they were extremely rude. The food was absolutely terrible. I really think that this Culver should be doing better. The way they greet guest is not right. As major DQ fans visiting a town with seasonally closed DQ, were at a loss one weekend night while having ice cream cravings. Luckily, Culver's answered the call for a frozen dairy product loaded with candy. I mistakenly calle dth custard "ice cream" and immediately apologized. The worker forgave me for my DQ ways.

The concrete mixer with chocolate cream, wild cherries, and butter cake was ridiculously good. I highly recommend that. Also, Ive heard great things about the vanilla shake with Butterfinger.

WRONG THINGS IN ICE CREAM
When I go to Culver's and get a concrete mixer I expect that I will get the kind that I order and also that if I do not order a topping of m&ms there will not be any on it. Months ago I ordered a ICE cream treat without the topping and there was m&ms in it. I honestly like m&ms but I have friends that have allergies and i know if they got a topping with nuts in it they would be really sick. I complained about it becuase Culver's should know if that is going on so the next person that goes there does not get ingredients to they do not expect in their food. I think they gave me a new concrete mixer that was made properly and then they gave me a discount coupon or something. But my whole point woth that is it should not be happening in the first place.

CUP IS NOT FULL WHEN I GET IT
The other day I ordered two concrete mixers. And I expect that if I pay for a cup of ice cream that it will be level with the brim of the cup but it was not. Both mixers had half the ammount of ice cream I expected. I think the reason for it might have been the machine that they use to mix it or something. I don't know. But it was never like this years ago. I am very disappointed in that

THEY DONT HAVE LARGE ONLY MEDIUM
You cannot order a large concrete mixer anymore. The biggest size that they have is a medium and it is not even full. When I was a child and my parents ordered me a large concrete mixer was so huge I knew there was no way I would be able to eat it all. Like I was actually afraid to order the large size becuase I knew I can't eat that much. It was too much ice cream for me.

QUALITY OF ICE CREAM
The concrete mixer is nit thick like concrete like it should be. I would describe it more like whipped cream. It used to be like a concrete mixer becuase the ice cream is so thick is that you cannot barely eat it with the spoon cuz the spoon would break trying to scoop it out. I used to have to wait to eat it till it was melted and soft to eat it.

I WAS NOT EVEN FULL AFTER EATING IT I WENT TO A GAS STATION ACROSS THE STREET AND BOUGHT A HUGE TUB OF ICE CREAM for less than the price of one half full medium concrete mixer. The gas station ice cream was thick like concrete, there was a lot of it and it tasted better. Basically what I used to expect from Culver's.

I would like to add that the gas station ice cream filled all the way to the top of the cup 6 times...

It's overpriced here. I can't pay more than $10 for two medium concrete mixers that are bad quality and not full. I want large size again and better quality ice cream.

I am done paying overpriced on stuff cuz of inflation. If it's overpriced I buy it somewhere else.

That is what competition is. When one store costs more, people buy it somewhere else. And I think that people are starting to do that with these overpriced stuff. Businesses need to realize that I am done paying for it. I honestly can afford 10 bucks for two medium things of ice cream but I wont pay that price cux it's rewarding stores that rip people off like this

For example next time I want ice cream concrete mixer I will just pay half the cost at a gas station and fill a cup and eat it with a metal spoon thay does not break too.

We eat here often. Food is good. I am disappointed in their ‘flavor of the days’…. Twice now I have not received half of the toppings as described on the website. It’s also not mixed like other Culver’s. They put the toppings on top of the custard instead of it being all mixed together. First world problems I know but it makes me disappointed in the flavors and I’m not sure I will continue buying custard anymore.

Stopped through the drive through at this location and had a very nice and straightforward fast food experience. The individual that took our order was courteous and easy to hear and understand. The wait for my food was much quicker than I am accustomed to when stopping at a Culver’s. The food was well made and I was able to avoid making a mess in my car.
