Long day of driving and this was the perfect spot. Crowds had died down but friendly cashier helped me with a smile and delivered my food by name. I love the Culver's butter burger cheese with grilled onions and this did not disappoint!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Culver’s in Columbus for our wedding desserts! We chose to serve their famous custard, and it was a huge hit with our guests!

Culvers food is always made fresh quickly after your order. I live in wisconsin and have been eating there for many, many years. I honestly have never had anything I did not like. It is one of the best drive through restaurants around. Give it a try if you haven't, you will not be disappointed.

Dine-In Experience Review – Culver’s (Mother’s Day Visit in May- 2025)
We had an extremely disappointing experience dining in at this Culver’s location on Mother’s Day. It took 38 minutes for our food to be prepared, and it was never brought to our table. Due to staff delays and lack of organization, we had to check on the status ourselves—only to find that our tray, which contained just three burgers and two fries, had been sitting unattended. The staff had simply forgotten about it.
By the time we received the food, it was cold, the burger patties were overcooked and nearly burnt. The restaurant appeared to be short-staffed and disorganized; tables were not clean, and overall service was poor.
It was clear that priority was given to drive-thru and take-out orders, even when dine-in customers, like us, had been waiting much longer. This unfair treatment made our experience even more frustrating.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this Culver’s location to anyone. What was meant to be a casual meal on the way back from Madison turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. If possible, we would give this visit zero stars.

Food is always good at Culvers. However on 2/3/25 I waited 45 minutes in drive thru for my salad with chicken. Runners to cars very, very polite as always. I'm sure they took all the complaints from drive thru customers, as everyone waited a good 45 minutes for their food as I did. Suggestion.. manager should have come out and told customers they were under staffed and it would be a lengthy wait and apologize. It's certainly an understandable situation but an explanation always helps with customer retention.

We as a family order from the Columbus Culver's restaurant a minimum of once a week to 3 times. I have never had a problem, a complaint. I swear that 99% of the time, Big Mike is always there and working. He has been a very good reason why we are going to give 5⭐'s
as a rating for this location. The moment I hear his customer service voice I know my order is going to be exactly what I ordered and at one time he was working the window, I made a mistake in my order and he recognized my voice and used the best customer service to call me by my name and corrected me by asking if I was sure as to asking me if my order was correct and remembered our previously ordered meals. I stood corrected and made a mistake.
These are the most important important people in the fast make it fresh industry. Big Mike is one of best employees in this location hands down! I Praise God for men like Big Mike who take pride in their work and deliver what their employers want for customer service.

Please find it in your heart to recognize this man who is identified by his name tag as
BIG MIKE and show him how much you truly care for him and his hard work and his attention to detail and make a difference in to choose from the "other" normal humdrum. I always leave there very satisfied after the service I received from this location.

Normally never have any issues with Culver's but this one is consistently having 15-20min plus wait times no matter how you order. If you order ahead 99% of the time you have to go in and ask for your order anyway. Drive to the next town and go to culvers. This place is kind of a joke.
Tried them again today and it was the same issue. If you guys don't have the staff to run curbside orders out don't offer that option.

I generally only review excellent and terrible experiences. Today was the latter. I pulled up and saw one other vehicle in the drive-through so I figured it would be nice and quick. I waited well over 15 minutes for my chicken sandwich, and I know chicken can take longer to cook. I bit into it and I’m still feeling sick from my experience. It was so overcooked that the breading crunched from the one bite and crumbled away, exposing the dark brown stringy dry meat. Clearly, somebody forgot it in the fryer and decided to give it to me instead of dropping a new one. This was a truly disgusting experience.

Update: Just read the recent reviews. Looks like this store has gone to hell the past few months.
Update: waited 15 minutes in drive thru for our food. When we got home we discovered that they didn't put my double deluxe in the bag. It isn't worth 20 minutes of driving and waiting in line to get a burger. Sucks that they were so slow today and couldn't even get the order right. Seems to be a pattern lately. At least BK gets it right.
It has always been good for us, both food and service. It gets busy but they do a good job of serving their customers.

Waited several minutes to have order taken at drive thru. After waiting for awhile as the only car, another car pulled up in the 2nd lane and had their $50 order taken before us. I continued to wait even after they pulled forward and nobody came to the speaker. I pulled to the window to give my order and asked for two ice cream dishes with sprinkles as I had free scoop tokens to use. Even after explaining I waited for a long time, I was told I’d have to pay for sprinkles. I’ve never once paid for them in my years of using free ice cream tokens. Poor customer service

Waited almost an hour for my food, and while they were busy and I can understand that, there were at least 3 cashiers/up front people who were either not working, socializing, or not taking the initiative to clean or offer their help to other people that were clearly drowning in the slam of customers. The best service I saw was from Milo who was taking charge, staying on top of the bagging as much as possible, and had a smile from ear to ear through it all while fielding other disgruntled customers that had a shorter wait time than I. It would be a shame to lose such an employee because they’re being unfairly overworked.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Now it's overpriced, poorly managed, and takes forever. I can't remember the last time I had to wait under 15 minutes to get food, especially from the drive thru. The last time I went, the cheese curds were pretty much raw. The burgers were burnt on the outside and cold inside, and the fries were soggy. They also forgot an entire sandwich and left it at the window, when we went back to complain, they tried to get us to take the old sandwich. Although the food is generally good, the service and wait time is just awful.

I placed my order online, not even a huge order either. It said it would be done around 11:58, which is exactly when I arrived. I understood I could still wait around for a couple minutes due to lunch hour. But I had to wait for about 15 minutes before getting my food and people that came in and ordered at the counter were getting their food before me. Luckily I ordered it to go so my 2 kids and I could eat outside, because they forgot my salad dressing and spoons for my kids' mashed potatoes and applesauce (at least if we went home, they'd still have spoons, but I'd be without my raspberry vinegarette and don't really have salad dressing at home) making me having to go back inside again and have to wait another minute before getting help while people were walking in and out from behind the counter and I was standing right next to the opening.

There aint room in this town for a faster Culvers, because this one has the slowest in the midwest.
Food will get out to you fresh, but forget the "fast food" aspect because it takes twenty minutes, whether you eat inside or out. And, believe me, I have experienced it plenty.
I really hope they can improve to meet the standard of almost every other Culvers in terms of speed.
Edit: Notice how the owner gave a corporate response and requested I do more to make their own business better. Corporate speak for "I don't care." If they did, they'd take this advice, the same advice of a bunch of people as it is a common problem, and do something about it. We need to go through an extra step, why? Just fix it.
Edit 2: 02MAY2024. This place is not only still insanely slow, but their team is not coordinated and they have not improved at all. Their management has done nothing to fix wait times.

Do not order online at this Culver’s unless you have a lot of time to wait. If you’re traveling, just keep driving and go to Sun Prairie or Beaver Dam.
I put in an order 15 minutes in advance of my arrival. When I arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled pick up time, I clicked I’m here. I waited 15 minutes in my car and still didn’t have my order. I went inside to check on it. The girl took my name and when she asked if they had my order, another worker said “probably not”. She checked the system and said it was “still coming through the pipe” and I had to keep waiting. She had no idea when it would be ready. Everyone in the drive thru got their food faster than I did. There was even some people who went inside, sat down and ate their food and left before I got my food. I went inside after 30 minutes and asked for a refund. The older gentleman at the cash register was nice, but didn’t know what to do. Another lady said they “didn’t have the power to give refunds from the website”. They just told me they were really busy. I know for a fact the people in the drive thru got through faster because I saw those cars drive away. This store cannot handle the online order system and should not be using it.

Food was good ok. Drive-thru process was SLOW!!! Paid for food, then given a numbetr and told to pull up and wait. I really resent this. I feel like I've been tricked.

We ordered 2 fish dinners maybe a poor choice but circumstances dictated it. The potatoes had no taste and the fish was chewy and tuff and qiute tasteless.The prices keep going up and the quality is not there.Sorry Culvers have to take you off my list of dining choices.
