I was there tonight (10-16-25) with my family. We all ordered together. The first gentleman who helped us was very polite, making sure to mark down when I told him I had a gluten allergy. When I went back up to get a shake, the lady that helped me was incredibly rude. Rolled her eyes at me when I tried to make sure that I got a regular shake, no malt powder because malt has gluten in it and didn't notate the allergy. The guy who made the shake didn't clean the mixer between the one before mine and mine. I told him I have a gluten allergy and he remade it, but still didn't clean the blender between the shakes. I've been sick for 2 straight hours now because the lady didn't notate it and the guy making the shakes didn't clean the blender. 😭🤢🤕 DON'T go here if you have an allergy. They don't take it seriously.

Everyone I know who’s worked there absolutely hates it. Not only that tonight marks the 5th time the staff have forgotten items/messed up the orders. My partner is allergic to tomatoes always orders burgers without. Never seems to be an issue anywhere other than this location. Food service is hard but when someone orders something and you mess up, it’s usually because of lack of attention or training. And instead of just giving that mistake to people, just remake it! its worth the wait rather than making a meal someone paid for completely inedible for them. It makes me a bit mad this is a continual problem.

However, my stop tonight to get my siblings ice cream I witnessed the manager Nicholas be completely unprofessional and rude to his staff any chance he could get. As someone who once worked in food service the job is hard enough. I just hope those crew members realize they don’t have to put up with that :/

Everything from the fries to the bun on my burger were better then 90% of other Culver's I have visited. The bun was not soaked in grease, the drink didn't take like a mix of everything else on the fountain as many other places do as they do not clean it right. Even the cheese on my burger melted instead of staying as a square. I would recommend this as a good location.

Well I guess lesson learned, I should know from past experiences to check my order before leaving, but really how hard is it to het a hamburger double with Xtra ketchup, xtra mustard and xtra pickles wrong. Well they seem to everytime, got home sit down to eat and Well that was a fricken waste!!! Burger has 3 pickles little ketchup or mustard and a crap ton of onions which I am allergic to so not like I can even take them off and eat the damn burger!!! I guess it's time I move on to a different location but they all seem to be getting worse and worse lately!!! It's sad because culvers used to be one of my go tos but not much anymore!! Do better!

Used to always have great fast food. Burgers are still really good but I don't eat much beef, and their new chicken tastes cheap and rubbery. My order was rang up by Karly. SHE IS AWESOME! My son broke the plastic order number that get set at the table. She said oh let's change the order number and turned around to let her coworkers know that order 80 needs to get changed to order 70. No one said a word to her. All 5-7 people that where right behind her acted like she didn't say anything. She directly said it to 2 people a woman in the back and a man in the front. They both ignored her and gave her looks. Now I notice things and this is the second time in two months that the same person Karly has taken an order and has been completely disregarded. The first time she told her coworkers that hey the guy from the drive thru is inside he forgot to order some things so he will be waiting inside for the order. I noticed they didn't acknowledge her but I let it slide. So second time inside in two months and the same thing again. You can do better Cottage Grove Culvers. I will not be going through the drive thru anymore. I will go inside from now on so that next time I go in my review will have every person I see name on a bad review. Good job karly you are very mature and resilient!!!

I had came on a Tuesday afternoon, ordered only 2 meals and a side of shrimp, the line was all the way to the signs which I didn’t even mind the wait, still had to wait after receiving my number (pretty normal) got my food, didn’t bother to check due to the wait both times I would’ve thought everyone working (due to them having EXTRA HELP) instead didn’t get my shrimp, nor the right amount of tenders and when I went BACK in bc to get the shrimp after already driving off, they still CHARGED ME for the sauce I ALREADY paid for. I get it fast food chains have a lot to do and are busy, but with extra help I don’t see why it would’ve been so hard to double check and not to double charge upon their own mistakes. I was more upset due to someone saying the cottage grove location was one of the best, I didn’t have a good experience

Seriously a great location. Never had an order messed up, pretty quick turn around as Culver's goes. Staff is great. I don't have a negative thing to say about it. This is probably one of the worst culvers. It's a hit or miss whether your food will be fresh or not. Ice cream/shakes/coolers are always runny, you guys need to lower the temperature on the machine. Shake and concrete mixers shouldn't be soup consistency every single time. Tonight we got food and the fries were semi warm and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. Burgers were also luke warm. If you can go to a different location, you're probably better off.

my family and i moved here a day ago, and just needed a quick snack while we unpack boxes. we have food sensitivities so made a gluten free, no cheese order - some baskets with fries. they got something wrong, which was no problem, so i went in from the drive thru to get it fixed.

the lady at the front got quickly frustrated and kept trying to rush and talk over me when i was trying to explain what happened. i was only explaining what the correct order was supposed to be and she snatched the receipt from me so she could do it a little faster, but i had literally just gotten to the counter. as she was explaining what i said to someone else and the cook across from them, they were all clearly frustrated and having an attitude. still, i try to give some grace and wait silently. theyre huffing and puffing and rolling their eyes and the cook literally tosses the remade order at the ladies on the other side. now theyre irritated as well and instead of handing me the bag it gets shoved over the counter at me. i smiled and said “thank you, let me check it real quick,” and got glared at by the two ladies and rolled their eyes as they stood there and waited as i quickly made sure it was correct. it was correct now, but at that point i was very uncomfortable and quickly left.

ive lived in wisconsin with my family for about 6 years now, and this is the first time ive felt like ive been treated rudely at any culvers. no apology or anything, just attitude and being talked over. hopefully there’s another culvers nearby in this town, as my family and i swiftly agreed it’s not worth going back to this one.

Very disappointed in this location as it is not the Culver’s I frequent and not my usual Culver’s experience. I ordered a chocolate cherry cheesecake concrete from the drive-thru and instead got a vanilla cheesecake concrete with a singular cherry on top. I understand mistakes happen and I am not usually one to complain, however what really bothers me is they noticed their mistake of not adding cherries and instead of doing the right thing and remaking it they added a singular cherry on top so it would go unnoticed that it was made wrong. This shows horrible character and is not up to the standards that Culver’s has set as a fast food chain.

This was the first time I dinned in at this Culver’s and it was a horrible experience. When I walked in I was not greeted nor did any of them say they could take my order.

Not one employee was smiling in the whole place. When I had my order taken, the cashier sighed with everything I ordered and huffed when I asked for a cone for my toddler. She said it would cost extra and I said fine and she huffed again all annoyed.

I was standing there with two kids myself trying my best and she was so disrespectful. I felt that I was an annoyance to her. I almost walked right out. I was going through enough as I had received treatment for my cancer and was exhausted and would have liked some common decency.

Needless to say I won’t be coming back any time soon. I have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant/fast food establishment.

I always have a good experience here. Often times when I go there's a bunch of "kids" working but they're some hard working, polite, and courteous kids! I've seen them deliver top notch customer service, and they genuinely seem pretty happy, so it seems like a great work environment for them. My favorite perk of this specific Culver's is their BFF Kwik Trip is right across the street :)
