Had a bad experience here tonight. I ordered a concrete mixer online to pick up curbside. I get there 2 minutes before it was set to be ready, and I let them know that I was there for pick up. I waited about 10-15 minutes and no one came out with my order.

So, I went through the drive thru to explain the situation. They ended up giving me my concrete mixer, but problem was that it was mostly soup. It was more than half way melted. I didn't notice this until I got home because it was dark at the time. I ended up throwing it in the trash because of how melted it was. I love Culvers, but I truly wasted my money on them tonight.

While the food is good and the people are grand, the main reason I go to this store is one man, Kevin. He is the manager of this location and he ROCKS MY WORLD!!! He serves the creamiest custard and freshest meat. His service is beyond compare and leaves me quivering every time. Mmmm.

Unreal! Went to take my son out for custard to celebrate an accomplishment of his and saw there was quite the drive thru line and was glad we were going to be dining in. BIG MISTAKE! Only one register was tended to and waited over 10 minutes just to order two cones of custard, then proceeded to wait over 20 minutes until I finally had to go up and ask where our order was. The employees could not find our ticket and responded with "we are really sorry our drive thru is really busy" Very disappointed that dining room does not get the service/attention the drive thru gets.

Grant was blessing from God. Once I entered the holy sanctuary, he greeted me with eyes like no other. I was pulled in immediately and he followed up with a question; asking "Welcome to Culvers! What can I get started for you." I was in awe. What a delightful interaction just from a worker. I ordered a Butter Burger with Sprite, and after only two minutes of waiting, I immediately get greeted with a delicious bag full of amazing smells. I told him goodbye, and he said for me to come back soon. I was very pleased with the food and the service at Culvers. Will go again!

Ordered curbside and marked that I was "here". Waited 20 min just to go inside and see my order was sitting for that entire time. Baffled how there are like 10 people behind the counter but nobody checks that? Also I paid for large and got a small mixer. Was too frustrated to even ask them to redo it all but I also feel like the old Culvers would have comped my meal for this sad interaction. Got the flavor of the day today(cashew carme) and it jad a bleach-like aftertaste. Will be warning everyone about this.

Ordered one scoop Carmel cashew in a cone, one two scoop Carmel cashew in a dish and a two scoop flavor of the day in a cone (chocolate covered strawberry).
We received both Carmel cashew in dishes, one with the cone on top. When I asked where my two scoops of flavor of the day was, the girl delivering it to our car initially goes “umm… nope not on here.” Then she finally sees it on our receipt and goes back for it. I end up with my ice cream in a dish with no cone.
This Culvers should be shut down. Its reputation is probably dragging down that of every other Culvers within 30 miles.

Taking back everything positive I have ever said about this Culvers. Today, went to get the flavor of the day as advertised on the restaurant- specific website. The placard on the drive through microphone said the same flavor of the day as advertised on the website but the store’s sign said “ cookies and cream” instead of the advertised flavor of the day. Ordered and specified that I wanted the special of the day as advertised (sea salt double caramel pecan). Kid on the drive through mic confirmed it. Got to window, they took my money and gave me two cookies and cream. Asked for my money back and instead of giving me the $20 bill I handed them, gave me a bunch of change and $19 in assorted bills.
This Culvers doesn’t even try anymore. Avoid them.

was not happy with the fact that the desert staff didn't give us our custard after looking us in the eye multiple times standing right there, number front and clear, with our custard only takeout number. it was only two one scoops of chocolate. one worth peanut butter and oreo and one a Carmel cashew. not only didn't they just sit waiting but the dessert person gave ONE of the scoops to someone else and when they left it there and i brought it up they dug mine out from the trench and just had us take that. didn't re make them from waiting or the other one from being given to someone else. and to top it all off, they didn't even use HOT CARMEL on the Carmel cashew which is the standard. they used salted after i was Asked about it at the register and specified i wanted it hot. i worked at Culver's for 4 years and this experience was terrible.

Culver's is always a perfect place to go to. Their butter burgers have always been a hit, but once at the drive through I glanced at the menu and saw the pot roast meal and decided to try it. Oh my goodness, absolutely incredible and you can't beat the price. I'm hooked. Not to mention the amazing, creamy custards, the warm, melt in your mouth cheese curds and tasty crinkle fries. We've always had great service here and it's always a winner with the kiddos. You have to try their pot roast...I'm telling you! Also, be sure to try the curd burger when they have them.

The steamed brocolli is perfect! Shrimp is better than most high end restaurants. The Walleye is divine!
The chocolate malts are the best *if they get it right. 50% of the time I am given a "double chocolate malt" when I ordered a chocolate malt; ie; made with vanilla ice cream. If I try to explain the recipe I end up with vanilla malt. ( my only gripe!)
Give it a different atmosphere and you are fine dining.

We enjoy the 'Flavor of the Day', but the Elkhorn store uses the least amount of 'flavor' of any Culvers within 30 miles. I'm guessing they use one fourt, to perhaps 1/2 of the 'flavor' when compared to all other area Culvers. When we order a lemon ice with a flavor (i.e. raspberries), they don't put enough in to every turn the lemon ice a light pink color. There have a heavy set male boss that yells orders to employees and the kitchen, that you can easily hear him from the dining room. They are under staffed, under experiened, and most importantly to us, 'under' prepare the toppings on the flavor of the day, ice cream, lemon ice, and all other treats. Under the prior owner, they were first among the county Culvers. Now, they are clearly in last place. Rather than having the cook or manager yelling instructions, they should motivate their team members, and leading by example, take a moment to empty the trash THEMSELVES.

This isn't the first time I've seen or experienced this but super long line, a dozen people waiting to order and only one person at the register. They had plenty of employees but had no intention of helping the one person that was drowning trying to take everyone's order. Terrible management with that being said. Then when order two simple custard things it took ten minutes and one was MELTED by the time got it and the other was a shake when I asked for a single scoop mixer. The worker looked at me dumbfounded or with the expression of what do you want me to do about it? When I told her about the melted custard and wrong order.
