Unfortunately I recently ordered a double scoop bowl of the flavor of the day. It was Turtle and delicious. However, a few bites into the dish I found myself biting on, not a pecan, but someone’s fake nail! Totally gross! Not sure why the food handlers aren’t expected to wear gloves (and NOT wear fake nails!!!) Definitely won’t be back!

Pros: My friend and I weren't starving.
The new crunchy chicken was decent, a tad over cooked.
They did remember no ice and no lettuce.

Cons: As you can see in the picture, the fish sandwich has shrunk again. Now, the fish is 1/3 as large as the bun.
It's definitely not worth the money.

Just stopped in for an order to go for my husband and I while on our way to fishing. No exaggeration, I waited 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches and a fry. Granted it was lunch but there was only one person taking orders inside and their reason for being slow was that “they were slammed.” Come on people this is your job, get it together!!

Say what you will about this Culvers, it doesn’t lack in community. I felt such a great sense of camaraderie between the many, MANY customers waiting for their food. I was warned by not one but TWO different customers to leave asap because they were running 45 minutes to an hour for food. Against my better judgement, I locked in and waited. The chirp of a smoke detector kept me alert as I waited for my food. Had the pleasure of hearing an employee say “well, I didn’t make it” when someone got a chocolate shake that resembled the consistency and color of plain milk. Highlight of the whole experience was the husband of the woman who received the shake saying “wait, but don’t you like, work here?” in such an incredulous tone I literally laughed out loud a table away.

Tl;dr: Avoid this location at all costs.

And before I get the auto generated response from the owners, not to worry…I’ve already filled out the customer feedback through the Culvers website.

Skip this location unless you want to be billed for food you don't get. There are nearby locations in Lake Mills, Johnson Creek, Whitewater, etc. I stopped by this location two weeks ago with a family member. We placed an order and headed home. Unfortunately my family member has a number of physically limiting disabilities so it's a process to get out of the car and back inside and settled in... So by the time we did just that and I finally reached for the bag of food, it was disappointing to see it was missing her meal. I promptly called the location and before I could finish explaining what happened, the person who answered knew exactly what had happened and why I was calling.

Now I am a sane person. And I pride myself in realizing we are all humans and all humans make mistakes. It's a bummer but not worth losing sleep over so I merely requested a refund for her meal. Unfortunately I was told they couldn't do that since I had left the location but they could send me a coupon for a meal. That seemed reasonable and I agreed to that.

That was two weeks ago. They didn't refund the meal or send a coupon. That's a great way to respond to people who are understanding of human mistakes and go out of their way to respond with compassion and kindness to mistakes instead of Karen-ing.

We won't be stopping by here for dinner and ice cream weekly anymore. Be smart and check your bag before you leave and learn from my mistake. And if they do make a mistake, make some noise and don't be understanding because they don't respond to that.

I wanted to write a glowing review of this place. The food is good and they sponsor a lot of local events. However, service has been awful, especially the drive-thru. My latest visit I ordered three custard dishes. I got two that came pretty melted. When I corrected the delivery person, he brought me a third, mostly melted. My two trips before, I’ve had to exit the car after a 20 minute wait because they forgot my order. Again, it was custard and not actual food.

It has been 5 months, and I still remember how bad my experience was. I walked in, no one said hi, or even acknowledged my existence until I walked up to the counter. Last time I was here, they failed to listen to my order request on the kitchen and I got a plain burger.

When we got our food a burger wasn’t included. My husband went in to let them know.
Out marches captain whoever who told us we got the items and basically called us a liar. She could not stop saying “I don’t know how this could happen”. Over and over.
Well it did lady, now fix it.
Then she actually made us dump out all our food, in my car mind you. Guess what still wasn’t there? The burger.
Again, she has NO clue as to how this could happen. It’s fast food, I expect this from time to time.
What I don’t expect is to be called a liar and be made to dump two large bags of food out in my lap.
She backpedaled quickly and gave us two free scopes. I won’t tell you where they can shove those worthless blue coins.
After spending $50 you think I’m lying about not getting a $5 burger? It’s insulting.

I think under normal circumstances I could overlook having to wait 25 minutes in a drive thru for two whole chicken tenders. Is it still considered “fast food” at that point? Luckily I had a nice flat soda to drink while I waited, it even had notes of dirty toilet water. What really put me over was getting home and finding out my fries were forgotten. I work in Fort and live 20 minutes away, driving back to get my fries is really not something I’m willing to do after getting off work. After waiting nearly half an hour for that food you’d think it was being cooked in liquid gold and they could at least include the fries I paid for? Maybe not at this location.

Avoid at all costs. Make the trip out to the places in Janesville or Edgerton. You’d probably have your food (the correct food) and be home by the time you’d leave the drive thru at this place. Thanks Culver’s! Will not be back.

I placed the order number by courside at 4:21 on 11/30/2024 and at 5:27pm after approaching multiple times to ask for my order the manager on duty wanted to call the police because after an hour of waiting I claimed for my order that I had already paid and they had no response to give me more than I had to wait.

Wow, I can't believe the owner isn't ashamed about all these bad reviews. My last visit they forgot to give me my soda in drive through, then when they brought my food to the car, no soda. The kid who delivered the food said he'd get my soda. 5 minutes later as my food is getting cold I watched the boy deliver multiple orders but no soda for me. I yelled to him that I was leaving because my food was getting cold and he shrugged his shoulders. What kind of culture is the norm here? Dirty seating area, cold food, incorrect orders, dont even get what you paid for? If the owner wants this place to stay open he might want to physically be there to supervise and train his employees properly. Every time I come through the drive thru there are multiple teenagers standing around doing nothing. Where is the hustle? The work ethic? Sadly, this bad service is a product of our wonderful school system that keeps asking taxpayers for more and more money to teach kids things they'll never use instead of manners, responsibility, and how to balance a checkbook. These lazy kids are a disgrace and its scary to think they'll be leading our society and taking care of our elderly in the same lackadaisical manner. Where have basic standards gone?

Drive-thru order for a scoop of the fotd and a small concrete mixer. Told to pull ahead and wait.

Waited 20 minutes. Saw multiple other vehicles come and go. Went inside to inquire. Another person was in the same situation. I was eventually handed my order which was already a melted, soupy mess.

I made a comment about it being melted and was given a deer in the headlights look. Waiting to have it remade wasn't going to happen I guess. The custard station was an absolute mess.

We usually go to the Johnson Creek location and NEVER have issues. We'll be avoiding this location moving forward.

This is the worst Culver's. Sticky floors. All the tables were dirty. Extremely slow service. The hamburger patty was luke warm and the cheese wasn't even melted. And as everyone else said, they like to let the food cool down on the counter for 5 minutes before bringing it out. The whole time I was there, I saw nobody even attempt to clean up.

It's kinda amazing considering how nice all the other locations are. Don't eat at the Culver's in Fort. It needs to be put down like a glue horse. The worst fast food restaurant in the area happens to be the most expensive lol

The girl taking our order seemed a little new at the system as she took awhile to ring in our orders. She overcharged us $7 which we had to go get fixed after. The only thing that works here is the Air conditioning and the young gentleman who took my order. Came here 7/28 around 7:30pm. Placed order and it took 15-20 minutes and we could see our order on the counter for at least 5 minutes. Also there was another gentleman who placed his order before mine and he got his food 5 minutes after us. He had to go up to the counter to get it. Our golf foursome stopped in for dinner at 7:30 pm on July 4, 2024. We were the only customers in the restaurant besides another couple.
(rare for a Culver's) There was one employee (Sam) "working" in front taking orders. The rest of the employees were either group conversations or goofing around in back. They all seemed to be on a break. We ordered 4 Value Meals. A while later they were delivered to us, cold fries and all. We then asked for fries that were not cold. A little while later they brought us new fries. Unfortunately they were still cold, so we sent them back. We waited, and waited, finishing our sandwiches, still waiting for our fries. I had to get up and ask Sam where our fries were.
He then asked the cook to make fresh fries. After waiting over 10 more minutes for decent fries, they were finally done right. We were already done with the rest of our meal. After we finished the fries and we're done eating, we ordered 4 single scoops of vanilla ice cream. Not a difficult task, however, the morans dressed as Culver's employees couldn't get that right either. After waiting in plain view of the cashier for 10 minutes (mind you no one else in the place) we asked for our ice cream. The cashier who took our order seemed confused. "Are you still here?" he said. We all looked at each other. Are we getting pranked? - we thought. This must be a joke. Just then a teenager in plain clothes walked behind the counter, grabbed a tray, and proceeded to put food on it for himself and walked out. The employees just watched him and laughed. We had enough, but as we were leaving, a female employee came to the counter with 2 of our 4 ice cream cups. We said that we ordered 4. She looked confused (a normal look for these knuckleheads). She went in back and asked someone for direction. After a few more minutes she came out with 2 more cups. No employee in the place was paying attention to anything work related. As a group, we have never seen such a train wreck as this. It's hard to believe that this establishment is still in business. Not much longer if this type of miss management and careless attitude continues. Absolutely the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. EVER.

Very disappointing visit, yet again. I tried to give them another try, thinking perhaps this visit would be different. I was overcharged for a coffee and brought it to their attention. The person took my receipt and proceeded to say you didn't order coffee, I said you took my order and handed us a large coffee and a Medium fountain drink cup but charged me for a large fountain drink and a medium fountain drink. He proceeded to try to correct it by handing me the difference only that was incorrect amount. I asked to have it refunded back to my card, please, and instead hand me the incorrect change in coins. Definitely will avoid this Culver's in the future.

Culver's has gotten so expensive and getting a basic order at this location right seems to be an issue. Sadly, go somewhere else (you can go to a nice sit down restaurant for cheaper in Fort).

If you look up the word “incompetence” in the dictionary you will see a picture of this Culvers location. It’s seemingly staffed with no one over the age of 16 at all times. Most of these kids are so socially awkward and/or oblivious, it’s literally uncomfortable being inside. The issues here, both with the food and the service, are so frequent it’s almost hard to believe that it’s not intentional. Plan on double checking your food when purchasing from this location, your chances are about 50/50 at best that it will be wrong.

Within the last month (December) I’ve been to this location 3 times, and each time there has been some sort of issue. The first time, after placing my order in the drive through, I pulled around and then proceeded to sit at the window for 20+ minutes without acknowledgment. I was about to drive away when an employee finally came to the window to take my payment. After pulling up and waiting another 10 minutes for them to bring my food out, I looked in the bag and it was not even what I had ordered.

The 2nd time I went inside to order, only to then listen for 5+ minutes to who I’m assuming was a manager argue with an employee about how much food he could use a discount on. Literally in front of everyone waiting for food, perfect example of that awkward atmosphere I mentioned above.

Then tonight I went through the drive thru and ordered a chocolate malt. At the window they handed me a cup which was about 3/4 full and was barely blended. I could literally see malt powder sitting on top. I tasted it & it was gritty because the powder wasn’t blended in. I asked if they could blend it a bit more, they took it back in and gave it back 30 seconds later looking exactly the same. Can’t even make this stuff up lol.

Go to whitewater, better food, still less overall time even with the extra drive, better service. We’ve had issues with forts Culvers for over 5 years. Went there in Dec 2023 with same issues. We found a golf ball size ice chunk in our 3 year olds custard! And the water tasted like bleach..

Save yourself the headache and drive over to the Whitewater Culver's. My last visit, I waited in the drive through for 32 minutes after ordering a single chicken sandwich. We have had multiple experiences like this over the last 2 years and will not be going to this location anymore. Even though we live in Fort, driving to Johnson Creek or Whitewater is faster, cleaner and provides better quality food.

Came to get a small cone of the flavor of the day, which was turtle. What i actually got was all vanilla with one pecan at the top and one pecan at the very bottom of the cone. Please teach your young workers how to scoop a cone so it at least resembles the picture on your flavor of the day display. I'm not a fan of plain vanilla and ended up tossing most of it, after digging through to find the non-existent caramel and hot fudge.

Been here multiple times. Service & order accuracy seem to have improved since the new franchisee took over in recent months.
Food is usually tasty because… well, it’s Culver’s! 😉
I’ve had issues with concrete mixers being made wrong or longer than usual wait times in the drive-thru in the past, but it’s been a while since that happened.
