On Saturday 9/20 I ordered a cheese mushroom single burger. My initial bite was so disappointing. The amount of salt in it made me puke. I usually favor Culver’s burger over other fast foods. Please no added salt. The cheese has salt already. Culver’s must be mindful of healthy eating!

Absolutely ridiculous. I sat in the drive-thru for over 25 minutes waiting on ONE burger, and I never even got it. I could literally see one of the workers casually wandering around holding the bag that was clearly mine, and they just didn’t care. No urgency, no apology, no effort to fix it. If this is how they run things, then this place is a joke. I’ll take my money somewhere that actually respects their customers’ time.

Please don’t waste your time. Go to the new Culver’s in Sun Prairie, it’s a bit of a drive but it’ll be worth it. This Culver’s is excellent at disappointing. I’ve came to this Culver’s multiple times due to its convenient location (even though they mess up almost every time you order) and have decided to give them chance after chance but that will no longer be the case. I ordered a simple kids meal for my daughter and was given my order through the drive through 15 minutes after I placed it, which typically wouldn’t have been an issue if 5-6 cars that were behind me hand not been served before me. I saw them hand them large bags but yet my simple order of two chicken strips was delayed. When I went home and opened the bag I noticed the food was inedible. The chicken tenders were so greasy my daughter couldn’t eat them & the fries were also covered in the same grease. Absolutely disgusting.

8/29/25 update. What was once a one star review has changed to five stars. Their management is responsive and you can tell they’re trying their best. They have their days but management does their best to make things right on the regular. I’ve had a couple of fluke visits but all it takes is to go inside and they’ll correct it. They also employee a lot of younger high school seeming kids so that could be part of the issue, perhaps a high turnover? Nonetheless, they do their best and it’s worth the visit.

After doing some running around, Hawthorne Public Library then Half-Priced books, I found myself hankering for a good ol' Wisconsin Fish Fry. I wavered over waiting post-guard shift to hit up Quivey's Grove, but instead opted more local to me: CULVER's.

I absolutely got service with a smile from FINLEY who was very concerned I get the best deal possible and even added on MY VERY FIRST SENIOR DISCOUNT!

Wow!

The food was excellent as usual and it was even FINLEY again who brought my tray to my table.

I just hope the nursing home serves food this delicious with Staff as caring and accommodating as FINLEY.

I am in fact 56yo and if ever CULVERS doesn't work out I am quite sure FINLEY could make bank at carnivals and state fairs.

Culver's is fantastic, however every time I go to this location, something is messed up on the order or something is missing, 10+ times. This gets really, REALLY old. The staff seem to not know what they're doing and/or always mess something up. They're very nice, but it would be nice to receive what I paid for. This is the only culver's where I have this problem constantly.

I ordered large fries and a triple burger. The fries were cold. The burger had a bad taste in it. I went back to get it replaced, but the guy just tampered with my food. He put more fries in the bag, put the same burger, added more meat, and handed me this again. What disgusting food, really. And the saddest thing is that they're damaging such a well-known food chain. It was my favorite place. Thank you for your years as a customer.

I visited on June 22 at 5:45 p.m. Two drive-thru lanes were open, but a staff member came out of the building and placed cones directly in front of our vehicle without saying a word. It was extremely rude and left no room for us—or the vehicles behind us—to back up or maneuver.

MARCUS IS AMAZING!! My sister got married a couple weekends ago and decided LAST MINUTE she wanted chicken tenders and fries for her late night snack at the reception - I called 2 days before and Marcus was so enthusiastic about it, and was excited to help! Ordered Strawberry Fields salad and chocolate shake. The cashier remembered exactly what was in the salad without looking when I asked. The guy who delivered it at least tried to smile and be helpful. The food tasted fresh and delicious. Grilled chicken on the salad was a nice surprise. Shake was smooth, creamy, and chocolaty. I’m fairly disappointed tonight. I came by to grab some ice cream and got four pints. Two chocolate and two vanilla. I got home and started dishing the vanilla custard to find bits of some kind of insect. I’ve been eating Culver’s for years and have always enjoyed the ice cream. But after spending that much on ice cream to find it’s soiled, it’s just disgusting and disappointing.

First time at a Culver's, honestly not bad.

We got the reuben sandwich and single patty burger, pretzel balls, onion rings, fried cheese curds, and dark chocolate custard.

It's probably one of the best fast food franchises in the States I have experienced. The reuben is a little on the salty side, but overall, everything is pretty great. Really enjoyed the custard!

Truly hands down best customer service, period! Impressed! Though, fast food is not my life style, I would definitely return simply based on the quality of the food and their exceptional service.

This is my first time eating at this location. I ordered a deluxe burger w/ cheese curds, 4 piece buffalo tenders and a soda. My level of dissatisfaction with the food is at an all time high. I get home which is literally 4 minutes away and my tenders are literally ice cold. My burger was barely warm.

After spending $25 of course I’m upset and had to leave my home again to complain and get my meal repaid. Thankfully the manager was friendly and understanding so it was an easy exchange. They remade my food on gave me a free meal voucher. But, I say all that to say check your food prior to pulling off the drive through unless you’re willing to make a 2nd trip.

I've been coming here for lunch twice a week for the last few weeks and it needs to be said this is one of the best fast food places I've ever been to. The staff is always friendly. I meet new staff every day and they are all friendly and helpful and kind. The food is consistently delicious and I always leave satisfied. Great food! The ingredients are fresh and “real”. It might be fast food, but in my mind it’s one step above your normal fast food. I like that they make everything to order — I’m picky about my food and they’ve never made a mistake. If you want really hot French fries, which I always do (I can’t stand paying for old, soggy, sitting-around-a-while fries!), order them with no salt. They actually taste great without salt, but if you want the salt, I’m sure you could ask for some salt packets. I’ve never tried telling them I want them to make a fresh brand new batch of fries just for me, but you never know, maybe they would! If it’s a “normal” mealtime rush, the drive-thru can be very long and move very slow and it can take quite a while for them to bring out your order. If you’re getting ice cream with your meal in the drive-thru be sure to tell them to bring the ice cream out WITH your food order. Otherwise, you’ll have melted ice cream before you even get your food. I don’t recommend their chicken tenders (get those from Chick-fil-A or McDonald’s) or their cheese curds. They use the exact same, very basic, almost like Panko breadcrumbs for the breading and the cheese isn’t melty and hot like cheese curds should be. Overall, I do enjoy eating Culver’s food once in a while!

A modern Culver's Location that has been here for years. Offers all Culver's options. Has amazing Buffalo Chicken Tenders where the spicy seasoning is baked into the breading rather than slathered onto the breading. The french fries are great, fluffy and crinkle cut, and their onion rings are pretty good too. Amazing dessert options with their custard. You can even take home pints of custard. It's recommended you keep take home custard in thermally sealed bags or containers so they don't get warm and melt. Very clean and staff is prompt.
