Usually I have a great experience here which is why I'm not giving only 1 star, but if *they* make a mistake, you better be ready to be charged for it. I had an order today get completely messed up. Not a single thing was correct. The girl at the drive-thru almost gave me the wrong size drink until I corrected her. My lemon cooler was the wrong flavor. Both of our burgers had every topping removed. At first they tried the whole "this is what the receipt means" nonsense as if I care to know why they made a mistake. I was clear when I made my order. When I attempted to get it fixed, the kitchen staff argued with the cashier and the cook was obviously very upset that he was being asked to fix something. The consensus amongst them was to charge me for the tomatoes. No, its not a large expense but it is the principle of the thing. It's not my fault if the person taking the order makes a mistake. A good business would correct their failure without agrivating the customer.

My girlfriend and I went in with our receipts for a free scoop of ice cream after filling out the survey. We asked for a pen to put the survey number on the recipient. When we went back up we were confronted by the manager on where we got the code from. He asked my girlfriend and then next me in a very confrontational manner. My food was poisoned. I ordered a medium chocolate mixer with Resse's Peanut Butter Cups and M&M's. They had me stand next to the refrigerator of custard. They didn't give me a number. The mixer tasted bitter. I asked them if it was supposed to taste like that. They acted avoidant and they didn't want to acknowledge the issue at first. The person that made my mixer was put on the spot and he didn't want to take accountability. I got a refund and I reported it. I reported this to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services - Division of Public Health. I noticed such symptoms of tingling and shortness of breath.

Food is always delicious, but I have one specific complaint. The last four times I've ordered at the drive thru, the person taking my order has mixed up mushroom and swiss burger with Wisconsin swiss melt. Three times ordering a swiss melt, I've gotten a mushroom swiss burger, and once it was the other way around. Stopped by for lunch on Friday 8 March 2024. When I saw a nearly full parking lot and long line for the drive-in I wondered if I had made a mistake. The answer was no. I was at the end of the lunch rush. Despite being near the end of the lunch rush, the employees were all smiles, polite and in good moods. The food was great. It was dropped off at my table as I was getting ketchup. Effectivelly, no waiting for the food. Observing the drive through while eating, it was typically 15-20 vehicles deep. Despite that, to me, it seemed no vehicle waits more that 4-5 minutes. Taking everything in, it was understandable why the place was so popular. Well done to everyone who worked to make that happen, upper management owes you all a thanks!

Drove through to get a quart of DELICATES vanilla custard to go, but this location only had the pint size containers available - 4 for about $14. (Two for $10.) I recently moved to the area. Knowing how good the service and food is at the other culvers i used to live by i thought id try this one. They have some issues at this culvers. Maybe 1 time a year the culvers i lived by would mess my order up. This one off of cottage grove road have messed my order up once a month. I finally get upset enough after the 5th messed up that I call and explain that they forgotten the sauces to my chicken tenders. Bryan informed me that if they forget the sauces to your meal they will send you a 1 scoop sundae to fix the issue. Absolute insult and bad customer experience.
