It’s not that Culver’s does not have actually really good food or about terrible service, but that it’s just so darn expensive for such small portions.

We ordered two double burgers that ended up being over $20. I tried asking if getting combos would be better money wise, but the person behind the microphone had a difficult time understanding what we were trying to ask, so we ended up just sticking with the two sandwiches. They were good, not great, but not bad. However, the patties themselves were smaller than the bun itself and that’s with TWO BURGERS. It was disappointing and unfortunately it will probably be a good while before we stop by again. It’s just not worth the money like it once used to be.

Quick positive mention, their new pepper burger had amazing flavor. If you haven’t tried it yet, please do, especially if you enjoy the spicy pepperiness from black peppercorns.

A little disappointing for Culver’s. The chicken was rubbery and small. For a “new” chicken sandwich I was really excited to try it. The chicken breast was little bitty and was so rubbery to chew, it almost gagged me. I couldn’t three bites in and I couldn’t finish.

Okay, last time I tried to be understanding when I got home and they forgot the 3 ranch (that they ofc made sure to charge me for and told me were there) as well as my onion rings. We tried again today a month later. The. Burgers were terrible. Burnt and almost none of the toppings. Here’s my $8 double burger. A single grilled onion and pickles. I payed for multiple other toppings. It’s just disappointing since we usually like Culver’s, I am not sure what is going on either because they were not busy at all.

I visited your drive-thru today, although I have enjoyed dining in at this location before. The staff is always so kind and welcoming, and the food is wonderful for fast food—always hot and fresh. I highly recommend the fish dinner; it is delicious, just like a standard restaurant, but without the hefty price tag! Also, you can enjoy it here or take it home—where else can you do that? The variety of side dishes is also excellent, offering more than just standard fries. I would also suggest trying the chocolate malt; it is delightful. Thank you for making dinner tonight, Culver's!

I don't even know where to start with this one.
Every single time I try to give this Culver's a chance they always seem to mess something new up.
They basically drowned my burger in ketchup, it was falling out everywhere when trying to take a bite. Not to mention the burger was dry, the cheese wasn't melted, and it was cold. My fries that came with the value basket were cold as well.
The tables were dirty and they are clearly not trying to fix the fly problem anytime soon. I understand it can be hard to control flies as someone who has worked in fast food, but there was a whole lot of them where they definitely shouldn't be.
Don't even get me started on the management. It is clear to me that the average employee doesn't do their share and pushes it to someone else, whilst being rude! That is absolutely not how teamwork should be in a restaurant. People should do what they are paid to do, otherwise you are practically paying people to talk and stand there for hours. It is great to talk, but also get your work done please? It is not that hard to do both at the same time.
Needless to say, I will not be back.

Review: Culver’s – ButterBurgers and Custard Have Me in a Committed Relationship

Let me just say, Culver’s didn’t have to go that hard… but they did. I came in for a quick bite and left questioning my loyalty to every other fast food place I’ve ever loved.

The ButterBurger? Oh, it’s not just a burger—it’s a greasy, juicy hug from Wisconsin itself. It’s like the cow was massaged and serenaded before becoming a patty. And the bun? Buttery enough to make Paula Deen blush.

And don’t even get me started on the cheese curds. Those crispy golden nuggets are so good they should come with a warning label: “May cause spontaneous joy and the uncontrollable urge to order a second round.”

I also tried the frozen custard because apparently I have zero willpower, and I swear it was so smooth it whispered sweet nothings to my taste buds. Ice cream? Never heard of her.

Culver’s, if you’re listening—I’m free Friday night. Call me.

Visited this location yesterday as we were passing through Onalaska. My wife had a grilled cheese, and I ordered a butter burger.
The food was delivered less than 10 minutes later. The grilled cheese was undercooked, and my burger was missing the beef patty. Seriously? Asked to speak to a manager. He looked shocked at first when I showed him a bun with no patty, but quick recovered and told me they would remake them. No apology - nothing. We got those in 5 minutes. The grilled cheese was one shade darker but still undercooked and the bun on my burger looked like someone sat on it.
Time for dessert. We ordered two one scoop hot fudge sundaes and received hot caramel instead. I was not about to have another conversation with the manager, so we ate half of them and dumped the rest.
The staff was friendly, but they all seem to be running at top speed to get the orders out. My suggestion would be to dial back on the speed and place the focus instead on execution which translates to accuracy in filling the orders and ensuring the food is cooked thoroughly and prepared properly. Sadly, our order yesterday lacked both.

Moving to the Midwest (from the north east)we learned very quickly Culver's is a staple around here so we went. I had the curd burger, and my husband had the spicy chicken. For what Culver's does, they do it well. Fries and onion rings are top notch, came out hot and perfectly fried. Service was friendly and even tho they are always super busy, the food came out on relatively good time.
The negative being the flavor, there is none. The spicy chicken, had a peppery after taste but that was it. The curd burger tastes like Italian bread crumbs and the fresh raw onion slice on it, everything else, including the meat just tastes like whatever is around it. The burger tastes like the grill, which was clearly clean and maintained well because it had a good grill flavor. But I'd argue salt or anything resembling seasoning is used at all.
So for what Culver's does, they do it well. But don't show up expecting a flavor bomb, it just won't give you that

Very disappointing visit today. How could my " fresh" made burger be cold ? Yet it was. Fries too. So I ordered flavor of the day because it was my favorite. Carmel Cashew. However, there was very little Carmel and very little cashew ! I could have just ordered a regular sundae , it wasn't that much more in price. So I didn't want plain custard and ended up just pitching it. .My last visit to a Culver's was in Viroqua and was SO good ! This was definitely not a repeat . Total incompetence from the staff! They split half the drive thru line to a station with no menu. It’s a faded, half destroyed piece of paper that’s no longer readable. The person in the booth just shrugged and couldn’t have cared less. Makes it really hard to order!
