This location is not a great example of typical Culver's food. We keep going back because it's conveniently located, and we keep hoping that things will get better. Unfortunately, the food here is often way oversalted, so you have to literally order everything "no salt" so it will be edible. Orders are often incorrect as well. I like extra malt in my malts, and I know how to order it so it will come out how I like it. However, this location often sends my malt out with NO malt, so it's just a shake. We've let the restaurant know about these issues several times so they can fix it, but it's still continuing. Even my salad was somehow oversalted! Please get the orders right and stop oversalting everything. I want to enjoy flavor, not just SALT.

At first we loved having a culvers close to home! Was a really good place to go for a few months and then it went down hill. They get our food wrong every time now , fries were way undercooked, burger was cold. Ice cream was like it melted and then re frozen.

It was a very busy Labor Day evening and the crew working did an excellent job. Amanda did wonderful making sure all the food went out, the team’s morale was high and kept the line moving. Dom took our order and everyone’s and got everyone through quickly. Thank you to this great team!

First time at this Culver's. IService was fast and staff friendly. Pros: Empty tables were all clean as were the condiment table and windows. Flavor of the day custard had a good amount of toppings mixed in. My husband's Chicken strips and coleslaw was great. Cons: my Cashew Salad had several pieces of rotted lettuce. I did tell a staff member and later she came back saying the chef said he was sorry this happened. I know this can happen to lettuce, but I expect better at a Culver's.

On the road, a stop at Culver’s has all the best character of Wisconsin, besides butter burgers, cheese curds and ice cream. There’s a cod sandwich that just a dab of tartar sauce is the finishing touch. Staffing and delivery of menu selection is prompt, friendly without pretension. All the elements of the hospitality of a Wisconsin small town cafe; maybe the best reason to leave that interstate and find first hand what Culver’s serves with each order from it’s beginning in Sauk City Wisconsin to you.

As a resident of Oostburg, my family and I were so excited to get a Culver’s in town. I feel it started off great there and is slowly falling apart. The last couple times the quality of the food wasn’t worth the wait and I feel like we’re getting less and less food. My daughter and wife said the last time we in there and got ice cream it looked like they weighted it and even took some out of the cup. Lately our food has just been poor that we would rather drive to Sheboygan than down the road from our house. Hope it gets better

This Culver's can be wildly inconsistent when it comes to wait times for food. Twice going through the drive-through we've had our order forgotten about, waiting about 15 to 20 minutes for two concrete mixers; seeing multiple cars who ordered after us get their food orders before us. Another time we ordered for dine-in and our order sat on the back counter with multiple employees walking by and looking at it but no one deciding to call out the number. The lines were long so I had to cut in front of someone to get an employee's attention. The food was cold and the mixers were melted by then. On all of these occasions, once the employees figured out the mistake they were apologetic and still friendly, offering to remake the items but if it took 15 to 20 minutes to get our first order, I'm not going to wait that long again for a fix.

UPDATE: We tried this Culver's again and had a great experience so went back a few more times. The place has really turned things around and each time we go they do great!

Stopped here for dinner on 5/30. The staff allowed a family with 2 children to scream at the top of their lungs for over 20 minutes in the dining area. It was nails on chalkboard loud. It was a miserable experience and gave me a massive migraine.

I was having a really good time at the Culver’s in Oostburg Wisconsin. I was enjoying my ice cream having a conversation with an employee named Leo. We were in the middle of a conversation when his manager comes over and yells at him, and we didn’t see him for the rest of the night. A couple minutes after our conversation with Leo, we were talking with another employee named Wyatt. Then she strikes again. Same manager lady yells at Wyatt. Not a positive atmosphere. I’d much rather engage with the employees than feel like I’m surrounded by robots.

Although I don’t typically write negative reviews, I feel compelled to share my recent experiences at the Oostburg Culver’s. The wait time for food has consistently been long; we’ve waited over 20 minutes on multiple occasions, even when the dining room had only three tables occupied.

On one visit, we ordered a buffalo tenders basket and a regular chicken strip basket, but they brought out two regular chicken strip baskets instead. We immediately brought this to the server’s attention. We were quickly disappointed not receiving a correction to our order and just a mere “sorry” and walking away.

Today, they were out of multiple items. To top it off, my beef pot roast sandwich was not just room temperature but ice cold in the middle. I have no complaints with the Sheboygan or the Plymouth locations; however, this location needs major improvements.

Impressive level of incompetence. We frequent Culver's all across the state, and this is by far the worst run.

We were one of two people dining in and had to wait 22 minutes for our order.

Staff was very unprofessional. Could hear yelling, swearing, and complaining coming from the kitchen all the way at our seats.

Part of our order was also incorrect. At that point I was hungry and had restless kids so I gave up and ate it.

They are 2/2 on disappointing us. Not going to return.

I was recently made aware that there are poor unfortunate souls that have never experienced Culvers before. If that's you I'll try to describe it. From the moment you walk into the doors, a friendly staff member welcomes you into the store. This is when you know that you are home. The kitchen joyfully takes your order and hands you a token of anticipation: your order number. From there, you enjoy the peaceful relaxation and fellowship with your fellow Culvers customers. When the food comes out, all the anticipation and longing culminates with the satisfaction of the first bite. All your troubles go away for the next half hour. When you're finished with your meal, you head for the door with heavy satisfaction. A voice thanks you for coming to Culvers, but you thank them for being Culvers. After all, Culvers offers this bliss and satisfaction to you whenever you visit. Goodbye Culvers, I'll see you next time ❤️.

Unfortunately, there is not a zero star option. Avoid this location at all costs, because no one seems to have a clue what they are doing and they don’t really care that they are failing. After waiting 45 minutes for our food and it still hadn’t come, I got a refund. They hadn’t even started our order yet. We were on the road and didn’t have time to waste and that’s what we ended up doing. Their explanation was that they were busy, but countless people were served before us that came in after us. There were also a couple of people who gave up and left as well.

My kids were excited for Culver’s, so we stopped at another on the way home. It was just as busy and guess what, we had our food in less than 10 minutes.

Love the Oostburg Culver's but have been very disappointed every time I get a salad there. They are supposed to come with mixed greens and spinach and I always seem to get shredded iceberg lettuce. Completely changes the salad taste and usually ends up making me sick. I love Culver's salads but will have to stick with not getting salads at this location again. This isn't the first time I've had a bad salad here 😔

Went to new Culver's out in osstburg Wisconsin and it was really nice and clean and new Culver's, the lady who waited on us was super friendly and nice to talk to. The food was delicious and only took a few minutes to get to us. They have a nice big menu with just about everything a person could wish for including Culver's yummy yummy custard 🍦🍨 plenty of parking area and bathrooms nice and clean. Both me and my friend enjoyed our experience here and will gladly return when in the area. But generally overall I have never been to a Culver's that was bad or that had bad food or service in all of the Sheboygan they are all really nice 🙂👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
