Love coming here since it first opened. Hard not to stop every time we drive by. Our favs are the burgers, Salads and fish and of course the custard. The fries are soo good. My only complaint after all these years is once in the drive thru my root beer cup had ice in it. And lately I find the cheese curds too salty for my taste. Keep up the great work people. Oh and maybe a third location would be great.

I've been coming to this Culver's forever and never had a problem. Went through drive through tonight 10/11/25 (car 80) and the girl who gave us our food was unnecessarily rude. She didn't greet or confirm our order/name and literally dropped our bag while handing it over. Good thing my boyfriend caught it. She acted like she was so offended having to bring us our order and turned around to go back in without saying anything. I said "Excuse me?" but she acted like she didn't hear me. I won't be coming back here.

This place used to be the goto.. but the last few months have been rough.. 40minute wait for ice cream.. ordering hot and cold food gets you ur ice cream first and then Hot food after 30 minutes.. so hot food and melted ice cream.. the last few months warrant a 2 star, but this place ha been consistent for so long I have to assume this is a staffing or management issue.

I have ordered 3 days in a row from Culver's and they have given me less of my food everyday. I spend over a 100 when I order for my family of 5 and tip over 25% and give a cash tip to driver. I have called and tried to talk to a manager named Damian and he has basically asked me to help him look over my receipts with him so he can make sure that there is repercussions was his word but never offered to make it right. I already spent 380 dollars in 3 days at your store and now u want me to help u fix your store!! No. Fix it yourself and remember the customer used to be the most important part of a small business. I repeated myself 3 times, no onions on my burger, cheese curds and DIET rootbeer, received my burger with burger, fries and a regular rootbeer. I am a type 1 diabetic and can't drink regular soda, this is a huge mistake that can be harmful to diabetics of all forms. Ordered two value baskets in the drive thru. I found out after seven cars behind me had been served that my order had been given to someone else. No one came out to check on me and had to call to find out that had happened. There were several times cars were struggling to get out from behind me and no one in the drive they thought "I wonder why that car hasn't moved in 20 minutes." I sat in the waiting area for 40 minutes and after all of that there was no apology when I received my food. My wife has celiac so she gets a gluten free bun and when I got home she saw that they threw my onion rings in her bag. On top of that, when I opened my burger box the patties weren't even in between the buns.

Yes, it was a very busy night but there are safeguards in place that no mix up should occur when they have your name and order number printed on the ticket on your bag and then they say your name when giving you your food. I can totally understand the waiting times because of how the food is made but that gets completely negated by the lack of care and effort by multiple areas in the restaurant.

I’ve had a few disappointing experiences at this location. Recently, I ordered the Flavor of the Day in a waffle cone, but they served it in a dish instead and offered an empty cone on the side—clearly not what I asked for. Additionally, we ordered grilled chicken with Swiss cheese, but when we came home and checked, there was no Swiss cheese on it. On another visit, we were asked to wait for our order in the drive-thru, but after 30 minutes, no one brought the food out. I had to go back through the drive-thru to pick it up. The lack of attention to orders and service is frustrating and needs improvement.

Typically, I love Culver's! I've always had great experiences at the Madison, WI locations. However, tonight I was in Sun Prairie, so I ordered curbside at the Main St. location. First, I touched the "I am here" on my order confirmation when I arrived (approx. 1 min prior to quoted time). I waited... after approx 8min, I texted back "Here," thinking perhaps they were busy. I still waited... so I called the store. The gentleman who answered the phone knew who the order was for when I called. He then brought out my order, which was great. Unfortunately, I tried my smoothie (which is supposed to be lemon ice and custard with fruit), I could not taste any lemon ice and it looked like pure custard with fruit. I have had plenty of this item, so I'm aware how it should look and taste. I went inside to inquire, the gentleman who brought my food said that yes, it should have 1/2 lemon ice and 1/2 custard. I stated that I couldn't taste any lemon flavor. It felt like he did not care, because he walked away without an apology or offer any resolution. I left. I also ordered a grilled chicken salad. Usually the chicken breast comes warm, which I appreciate. Here it felt like they just pulled it out of the cooler and cut it and put on the salad as it was ice cold, I was able to resolve that once I got home but its nice when it comes warm. All in all, I got food and was able to eat, so that's good, just not a real positive experience.

There is another location in Sun Prairie on Windsor Road which has great quality and excellent customer service.
Extremely sad and disappointed downtown Sun Prairie Culvers is without a doubt the WORST restaurant it has been my displeasure to have gone for a burger and fries, and... purchased a pint of chocolate yogurt with Reeses and it too had barely any Reeses, just Yogurt, can't believe I'm writing this!

If I could rate a 0 I would. We love Culver’s typically and have always had great food at other locations. We had a burger and chicken sandwich plus curds for almost $20. We waited as expected for close to 10 minutes to get our “fresh cooked” food. The curds were good but the hamburger looked like a 90 cent hamburger. The patty was so small you could barely find it AND it was cold! The chicken sandwich looked like it was thrown together with hardly any lettuce, one small tomato, one pickle, and a 1/8 tsp mayo at best. Will never frequent this Culver’s again.
