Service is terrible at both Sun Prairie Culvers restaurants. These two Culvers consistently ignore/forget curdside orders, allowing the food and custard to melt or get cold. Quite often food, like grilled cheese, will be burnt beyond the point of being edible and served as if a kid would touch it. Chicken tenders come out cold in the middle. Kids milk is always forgotten in orders.

Do not, I repeat, do NOT order curdside. You will never receive your order. Staff says the system dings once, and no one bothers to check the lot. Also, carefully inspect the bags because something will be missing, burned, or raw. Until this place is under new management/ownership I suggest the Cottage Grove or Madison locations, as these issues have been persistent since management changed several years ago.

Response to owner: Feedback sent, has been sent before, but nothing has changed. Unfortunately it will probably take a food borne illness to occur before someone will get serious about replacing the ownership/management. Free value basket coupons don't fix deeply flawed institutions with poor ownership and management.

Everything is so bland. The burgers have no flavor. The chicken patty has relatively NO chicken, but they decide to charge an arm and a leg for everything. Fries are always rubbery and never fresh. I want to love this place but I can’t. It’s so horrible. I have no idea how people are obsessed. It’s overpriced and overhyped. They also always forget the mayo that comes on the chicken sandwich, and I have to use my own.

Sun Prairie culvers both locations needs to do better, they never get my order right. How hard is it to do a double burger Xtra ketchup Xtra mustard and extra pickle!? Everytime I go to either location it's never right 2 pickle a drop of ketchup and a drop of mustard is not Xtra works minus onions.

Ordered a gluten free burger triple deluxe burger and it had no lettuce just tomato and pickles. Forgot the mayo on the side since condiments can’t go on the gluten free bun. I was then compensated with a new burger and had to go home to cold fries that tasted terrible after reheating them in the air fryer. This has been a consistent issue over multiple orders and this visit was the last straw in which I made this review and finally complained after no changes in performance.

We went on a busy night, which I understand it's going to take a while. However it shouldn't take 40 minutes for 2 concrete mixers. And the best part, we got the wrong one. I order one without any nuts in it, and got something that had nuts in it. This is a serious hazard. If I had been allergic that would have been a serious problem. When I was in the drive-through with my dog on my bike, they refused to give me service. Unless I came inside, now I was debating coming inside with my dog because they said “ you’ll have to put your bike up and come inside” which I’m not gonna leave my dog outside. so instead of being a dick bringing my dog inside (even though she’s 10 pounds and nine years old and well trained she’s really just an old lady). Driving from Minneapolis through Wisconsin stopped at this location today around 12:00pm ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and fries! The chicken was so undercooked that I could not eat it and it made me extremely sick was so sickening shortly after I called to speak with a manager who was extremely rude saying “well what can I do about it”??? This new world we live in today is by far the most pathetic as a customer who never complains but when it comes to me getting sick well that is a cause for legal procedures! Simply put, the best fish fry around. We ate early for a Friday 5:00 ish.

The fish was not greasy from the deep fry, and the oil wasn't nasty brown that ruins the flavor, I believe the oil was fresh.

The fish is ridiculously priced, but you decide if it's worth the price.

I had 4 pieces of fish- fish dinner 1 piece added, 2 scoops of the day, and 1 concrete mixer. $34.00.

When you’re paying $40+ I expect my full order to be in the bag. The kids working seem to just be standing around half the time, maybe teach them how to check bags to make sure everything is in them? I've been to this location 4 times. Today is my last. Quite frankly, all culvers have been going downhill. This location has messed up all 4 visits. Most recently tonight, I was on my way to work and figured I would stop for my favorite wild cherry malt. I stopped in place my order and got my malt about 3 min later. While the worker handed me my cherry malt the outside of the cup was covered in custered got all over my hand. I grabbed some napkins and whipped it down. After exiting walking to my car, I take a sip and it is strawberry. I can still feel the strawberry seeds in my teeth. I walk in and tell them I ordered a cherry malt. 2 of the workers tried to argue and say it was cherry. I told them to taste it, aswell as the strawberry seeds in my mouth. They remade the cherry malt and tried handing it to me. Just by looking and watching the girl make the malt, It was not mixed all the way. The cherry mix wasn't even halfway up the cup, and the top half was lighter brown from malt mix. Will not return to this or other sun prairie culvers they both suck.

I’ve been a Culver’s customer for many years. When ever traveling around WI I look for Culver’s because the food is good and service has been excellent.The facilities have always been clean. However, the new Sun Prairie location is the exception. This Culver’s has been consistently filthy every time I stop. Bathrooms, tables, soda area have always been disgusting every time I stop. We even waited an hour for our food one stop. Every business can have a bad day, but this is the only way I have ever seen it. I stop a averyof two times a month. The good news is the staff is always polite. This is the one Culver’s that I will have to keep on driving by without stopping, at least until management cleans up its act.
