I hate to be so specific, but nobody pays attention to that rule anyway. There was an older gentleman in charge who would work nights. He had glasses and gray hair. I don’t think he works for the company anymore because the quality of the place has definitely fallen in line with the rest of the Culver’s in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Nothing really separates this location from any of the other ones, which is kind of sad cause I know they plan to move to a larger location down the road, but without this man’s leadership, I don’t know that it will be worth the investment.

There was never a dirty table in this establishment under his guidance. Now it’s inextinguishable from Taco Bell across the street. A real shame. I used to tell people to skip the Falls and Waukesha to come to this location. That’s not the truth anymore.

Went to culvers drive-thru in our jeep today. Asked if they are participating in the duck deal for jeep owners. Cashier said she would check and came back with they have them but the manager said they give them out randomly. Can't believe you wouldn't give one to a paying customer who specifically asked about it. PS - Fries were terrible today.

Went in to get a scoop of the flavor of the day which was caramel fudge cookie dough. All I got was vanilla custard with a few pieces of cookie dough. Very disappointed that they were too lazy to add all of the inclusions. Once my custard was scooped, it sat on the counter for a few minutes while I stood and stared at it. Ended up asking a worker to grab it for me because it was just sitting there melting. Will make sure I go to a different location next time.

Numerous times in recent weeks we’ve gone for the flavor of the day and have had minimal toppings. Tonight was the last straw. “Caramel Fudge Cookie Dough” that was given to us as plain vanilla ice cream with 5 pieces of cookie dough thrown on top. Love Culver’s but share other recent review concerns about the Sussex location. We’ve had missing/wrong items multiple times on curbside and takeout orders, wait times have ballooned, and the food quality itself has been inconsistent as of late. Hopefully in the future they can also figure out a fix for the cramped parking lot, which becomes extremely hard to maneuver during peak hours, as the drive thru ends up blocking the entrance/exits.

This location has become absolutely HORRENDOUS after being taken over by the new "owners"! Waited 9 mins to get to the speaker. Ordered my food. Waited another 10 mins to get to the window, only to be told they're out of malt powder and american cheese. You sell burgers and custard! How do you run out of main ingredients?!?! At the very least, inform people at the time they're ordering. However, the decent thing to do would have been to discount the items people ordered that you weren't able to fulfill! Was in the drive thru for 30 minutes from start to finish. RIDICULOUS!!!

Placed an online order the other day. Wife brought the order home, her pretzel bites were nowhere to be found. Called the store to ask for $1.30 to be taken off the bill as it was a side to a meal. They asked for my phone number to call me back as it was lunch rush. Never received a call back. I contacted corporate to ask for a full refund on the pretzel bites. Never received any communication. The girl on the phone was nice but I could hear the dismissive tone from the manager she was talking to. Will not be bothering with this location again. Wouldn't recommend anyone else waste their time either. Consider this review worth my $1.30.

Children slave labor = missed orders, raw seafood, and an absolutely AWFUL experience. Culver’s corporate should come in and hire a manager for this location who can hire competent adults who can actually execute fast food orders. This location will go down like the titanic if it continues on its current trend. Today we were told they “lost the order” made via the website. The child behind the counter told us to “cancel the order” and “re-do it” and that the wait for 2 burgers would be 1 hour. For a Culver’s burger. What an absolute joke.

I love Culver's, but some recent changes have caused me to not go there nearly as often as they used to. The biggest change is they got rid of Pepsi products and brought in coke products. This means no more Mountain Dew which is my soda of choice. The prices also seem to have gone up recently as the meal I get that used to be under $10 is now over $11. I also used to get deals in my email every once in awhile for a discount on a basket or off of a shake button I couldn't tell you the last time I got one of those either.

Then when we received our custard it definitely already had begun melting. I feel like you should not get parked for custard, especially scoops in a dish which should be able to be made up quickly. The food is less than what I am used to from your typical culvers, but the employees are awful. 4 guys standing around talking about nonwork related things while doing nothing, while one girl is working the register and bagging/serving all the food. Awful management (at least at night I don’t know about the day) I waited 24 minutes for a two meal order with only two other people waiting for orders (both delivery people)

I frequent this location. For the past five times, I ordered a bacon double burger without a bun. All four times, I received one patty with a piece of cheese. No bacon, lettuce nor condiments. I went to Culver’s in Sussex off of 164 today around 2:50 PM and ordered two single scoop vanilla ice creams. When I pulled in through the drive-through, the man who answered was being extremely rude to me because he couldn’t hear me and then eventually just stopped talking to me until another woman came on and re-took my order from the start. They were both extremely rude and when I pulled up to the window, I had free scoopies for my ice cream and the employee scuffed and said “why didn’t you say that at the window” with an attitude. Now I’m eating my very distasteful “custard” and there’s HARD CHUNKS of custard in it. 😭🤮

I love Culver's food. Everytime I go to this location (.6 miles from home) something is missing or wrong on take out. Get the chicken tenders and no sauce, have to get my own drinks on take out, Will be ready at X time, and still have to wait. Ordered online as usually do last week, get my time to pick up and show up on time but wasn't ready (no big deal waited 2 minutes) as I wait I proceed to count 15 employees working. 3 of said employees were standing in the front by the counter doing nothing besides talking. I get home with my food and I didn't have my cheese curds I ordered. The one checking orders was working her hardest to make sure everything was correct but could have used a little help from the 3 standing doing nothing.

Seems this past year smaller portions, higher prices, hit or miss on mistakes with order, no Pepsi products. Food used to be really good, juicy burgers, melted cheese. Now burgers are thinner and dry, fries are rarely hot. What happened to "butter burgers"? Sourdough melt is half the size with, what NO cheese. Don't eat here as often as I used to.

If I can put NO STAR for today experience around 1:40pm on August 26 !
we came to put a 10 order’s through drive through and the way the female employee who was taking the order and how rude in telling us how she want to take the order .. the choice of her words and the ill mannered of customer service.
And when I pulled around the window after canceling the order .. she and another employee kept the window close . And they tried to ignore us asking for a manager to hear our complaint.

This place has gone has gotten terrible. They forget side dishes, and a large onion ring order used to come in the dinner container. Now it comes in a small bag with approximately 10 onion rings. Glad there's a lot more choices around!!!!!!!

I would like to give appreciation to the staff working at the Sussex location at 1pm today. I come to this location pretty often, maybe a bit too much lol and they always get everything 100% correct and have fantastic service. Today they went above and beyond. We may have just caught a bad day. All I ordered today was custard in the drive thru and there were approximately 12 cars who came and went before I got anything - and that was because I caught the person who was bringing out orders. They seemed unorganized and all over the place today.

We will try again another day but today was a disappointment from a service level.
