Course is fine- okay condition, fun layout. Their so called ranger needs to get off his power trip. On the second hole my group was on the far right side of the hole, so when we brought the cart over we were on the wrong side of the rope. It’d be okay to be told respectfully to get on the right side of the ropes, but there was no respect. Ranger Rick came out of his cart yelling about his authority while waving his flag like a toddler. We politely apologized and continued on. Then on hole 11 we innocently didn’t see any cart path only signs, so Ranger Rick has to come up again and yell disrespectfully as we tried to explain we genuinely missed the sign. But there’s no listening with Ranger Rick. You’d also think the so called Ranger would correctly follow his rules he’s enforcing, but no he’s playing in a five some when it clearly states a maximum of 4 in a group. Course was fun, Ranger Rick was not.

Great trek. It was around $40 to play on a weekday. The left handed rentals were not that great. Not quite the shovel and rake set that Costner played with in Tin Cup, but not far. Traditional club house and food area.

The course was in great shape. Very tight layout, especially the back. Don't be afraid of laying up to the 150 markers on the back. Fringe and greens also great shape. Definitely worth the drive if you're in the area.

Course was in good shape after all the rain. We certainly enjoyed the woods and nature that surrounded this course. We had food after our round upstairs and it was decent. We’d like to play it again.

The course is always in great shape. The value for the money is right. The bartenders in the clubhouse have a way of making everyone feel at home. If you haven’t been you’re missing out!

Excellent course with great architecture which is rarely seen in newer courses. Sandy at the 19th hole is a Saint who will help you forget about your 3-putt par on #18

A great round of north woods golf on this very well groomed course that provided elevation changes and tree-lined fairways requiring the use of most of my clubs. That I played well that day didn't hurt my opinion! This is northern Wisconsin golf at it's best--right up there with Big Fish near Hayward.

Their clubhouse staff left a little to be desired--a welcoming smile and a thank-you would help, but beyond noticing that, we were there to play golf and if you're within 20 miles, it would be worth a detour. Also played Spooner Golf Club and Turtleback, both of which were excellent, but I have to give Cumberland top marks for price and playability.

Beautiful and fun coarse but sadly I will never go back. The coarse marshal is very rude and had an attitude problem. It was a great Father's Day with my 8yo son, father and 3 other players. We reserved a tee time for 6 golfers and when paying confirmed 6 was ok. On about the 3rd or 4th hole the coarse marshal approach me with a bad attitude and very rude tone to his voice said "your son cant play". That interaction wrecked the rest of my game.

The front and the back are very different - front is fairly wide open and the back is wooded with lots of pot hole ponds. Had a lot of fun playing it. Their twilight rates are unbelievable. We walked it and it has some hills but wasn't bad. Bring extra golf balls - staff is very friendly and club house looks nice.

We had lunch at at the golf course on a Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m.when everything else in town was closed. My husband had a Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken which was very good. I had a pineapple coconut chicken salad which was delicious, with bacon, nuts, and goat cheese. My friend ate the pot roast, which came with mashed potatoes and she thought it was wonderful. The food was very fresh, satisfying and we were very happy with the service.
