I have been there today, I used to love this place but my last two visit were disappointing, they used to serve tortilla chips with spicy sauce for appetizer before you order food and they do not do that anymore like all other Mexican restaurants, I always order “Siete mares” it used to be amazing an really tasty but today was salty and the consistency was very thick, also it does not have a lot of seafood like normally has, they do not have Peruvian food anymore and reed sauce was out of stock!! I am really sad because I love this place but I am not sure if I am gonna continue going :(( It is worth highlighting service was good, Juan Victor did amazing!

DO NOT RECOMMEND will not return! Charging $1.99 for a lemon in your water is insane! Not providing the lemon in the water is poor business ethics. Although it was not busy the service was extremely slow. Waited more than 10 minutes after drink orders were placed to get beverages. Food was salty and of very low quality. Asked for boxes and after another 15 minutes waiting decided to leave without taking the full plate of uneaten food.

If you walk into a place on a Friday night and it's dead turn around and walk out. Cannot share an opinion on the food because we left after having a drink that took forever to get. After trying to order a margarita and finding out that the Mexican restaurant we were in did not have those, my partner ordered a bloody mary which came out with no ice in it and lukewarm. Might have still giving them a chance and ordered food but it was like 95° inside the place.

"Worlds Worst Restauraunt for Mexican Dinner Service" Went to eat at this place after having a fun day at Noah's Ark and our waitress was extremely rude. Made it seem like we were inconvenient in her day. Early on I had asked her for a Tacate and she asked if I wanted red or blue, after asking what the difference was she simply responded, "I dont know" with an attitude. Not wanting to probe further, I just ordered a XX. Also, took forever to get our food and additional drink, with only 3-4 tables of people. Food came out somewhat cold and hard to eat. Taste and seasoning was ok.

This garlic shrimp plate was so bomb 😍🦐 I added fries and a couple extra things (don’t even remember what exactly lol) but it was all sooo good. The shrimp were super juicy and full of garlicky flavor, and everything on the plate just hit—rice, salad, even the little orange slices on top. Totally worth the few extra bucks. I left full and happy. Definitely going back!

Worst service ever.. ah so bad! 4 of us were here for dinner. I wanted to order Jamaican food—salmon. Been told she cannot take my order and someone else has to take it. Which is fine… and after 3 others received their food, there was no sign of the Jamaican server, so I decided to order Mexican food. I ordered shrimp empanadas and asked what beers they have, she just pointed out the fridge. Sorry, I cannot see that far lol. Anyway, we picked one. Everyone finished their meal, and she came back about 20–30 min later saying that she doesn’t have empanadas. (Everyone was already done.) So I decided not to order anything because we had to drive back to Chicago. So it was 4 of us, 3 of them got food and I got nothing. One of my worst experiences. She had no sign of apology or anything, so don’t waste your time going there.

Place was dead and now I understand why. First, while server was friendly walking in, there was no sense of urgency being just us and two of people. After 10 minutes we got our order in. A pancake for my son. Hash browns, bacon and sunny side eggs for me. Very standard easy order. Well there slow cook seemed to be as slow as one can be. We waited 20 minutes, again we were the only ones waiting for food. No other tickets, just ours.

Finally our food came and it was disgusting looking. My sunny side up eggs were hard and rubbery and the yolks were different colors. Must have left them on the grill for 10 minutes. My bacon weird colors and rubbery. My son's pancake tastes bland and not good at all. I sent my food back and choose not to eat. I never trust food being sent back.

My advice never eat here. Stay away. Until they hire a decent cook. Probably why people stay away, slow service, horrible food and incompetent "cook".

Wow. . We walked in on a whim, never been here. The food was delicious! Serving portions were almost overwhelming. The aroma from the seafood and grilled steak lingered and made you just ready to dive in. We started with a ceviche appetizer, topped with fresh avocado. I wish we would have researched a little better because they also serve Jamaican food. I haven't had any oxtail or cury goat since I left the east coast. 🤔 😉 There's always next time. This place has the worst seafood ever. First off, they charge you for stuff additionally that should come with the seafood like tostadas, lime, etc. Its like ordering a taco and having to pay for cilantro and onion. It was 4 dollars for four tostadas. Then when the waitress was asked about the strange charges, she became extremely hostile. A wonderful hidden gem!
We went for breakfast-for-dinner on a quiet Monday evening.
My sister and I enjoyed Heuvos Rancheros, Nutella Crepes and fresh eggs. The eggs were cooked exactly as requested, the delicious Huevos Rancheros with excellent homemade salsa (love the kick from the jalapeño seeds!) was masterfully balanced. Even the Nutella crepes stood out, soft and fluffy with just the right amount of Nutella swirled atop them.
Service was prompt, attentive and friendly.
The surprise free chips and Ceviche included a gentle spice and fresh seafood.
We will be back when next we're in the dells.

Great restaurant! Last minute decision to go out to eat, and I'm so glad we did! Their calamari was great, breaded but not tons, and it wasn't oily at all (which is hard to find). Had to have the worst experience of a restaurant in my life on Father’s Day. They bring out one persons meal first, 10 min later another, 15 min later another, and 4th being me I just decided to cancel my order. I would understand if they were busy there is literally 4 tables here. I have twin girls not even 3 years old and they served a kids meal with raw chicken, luckily my girls were in the bathroom and I checked the food. Where do we start with this amazing place?

Food- The food was fresh and so very tasty! The coffee was hot and fresh. I got corned beef hash that was homemade not from a can. The pancakes were homemade and were some of the tastiest I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Nothing was greasy or overcooked.

My hubby had huervos ranchero and he loved it! (See photos below)

The service was amazing! Our waitress took great care of us.

We had breakfast here, the Rise &Dine and the scrambled hangover? Both were very delicious. They make the best hash browns! The hangover omelet was excellent! Food is absolutely amazing. Service wasn't the best. Way too much of a language barrier. Only one of the appetizers came out, had to remind them multiple times about our other 2 appetizers to end up with one coming out after our meals. Then didn't get the last appetizer til we reminded them for the 4th time on it and it came out last. Had to keep asking about refills even though they would see it every time they came to our table. It was super slow. Server explained it was only one cook and her on a Monday afternoon. There was only 2 other tables there besides us. Shouldn't have been too difficult to get the orders correct and out in the order it should have been since we ordered appetizers 10 minutes before we ordered our food. But like I said, food is definitely amazing. Best option is to come on the weekend when they have more help, or know your Spanish to communicate without any issues.

The food was very good however they do not put any gravy and biscuits and gravy you have to pay an additional six dollars for gravy for your biscuits and gravy I feel like she like it should be called biscuits and eggs instead of biscuits and gravy and eggs cause they give you no gravy and then charge you extra for it. Also I do not like that we were only a party of four and we were charged gratuity so I had to pay an extra five dollars on top of my bill when in actuality she probably would’ve got a $10 tip if I wasn’t charged gratuity. The lady did not understand what I was saying she overcharged us and I had to ask her to take things off the bill that weren’t even on my order. This place needs to get it together it could be a really good establishment taking over how is the food was really delicious but the staff in the pricing of the items are horrible absolutely horrible horrible!! Like I said the food was very good if you plan on just going there and getting eggs bacon and that kind of stuff great but do not get the biscuits and gravy they put absolutely no gravy on it and then you have to pay an additional six dollars to get gravy!!!! Two big challenges here… The servers have not been trained. After we were seated they slowly walked around cleaning tables for about 20mins before she came by for our drinks. Drinks came out with our food. She never checked on us at all. Had to wave her down for the bill.
Then… we realized they tacked on an 18% gratuity automatically because we were a family of five. Not only was such a tip not warranted, but the menu said only for groups of 6 or more. When we asked her she said it should have been changed on the menu and insisted we pay. No way!! I will not be back based on service and the idea of an automatic 18% price hike for a family of 5… not good.

Overall not a good experience. We were able to see the interaction between the kitchen and the servers and it didn't look good. Our food arrived at our table cold about 45 minutes after we ordered. Service skills need to be worked on.

It was the trial run for bingo night they had a special menu and new servers who really tried so they survived and we had a good time next week the bugs should be overcome can't wait until Thursday

Excellent food, great service and restaurant was very clean!! This is a new diner so waitstaff still learning but they were all very friendly and aim to please the customer. We had several different things from breakfast and lunch menu and all orders came out as requested. We will definitely be back!!
