The food was horrendous. My husband and daughter said they have never had eggs taste that bad. He described them "like eating a paper plate". They came completely unseasoned and I suspect they were liquid eggs. My son's "spaghetti" was even worse. Plain noodles with ground beef. Not a hint of tomato sauce or seasoning anywhere. The waitress wasn't very pleasant either. Seriously guys, go anywhere else.

My wife's eggs benedict was overcooked, ham slices didn't even cover half the muffin, and the whole thing was drowning in packet made sauce that all you tasted was sour lemon flavor! gross! <1 star.

My chili tasted like hamburger and vegetable soup. no spices other than salt detected. edible, but definitely not chili! not nice thick, hearty chili, more like thin runny beef and veggie soup. 2 stars

My patty melt was good but it's awefully hard to mess up a patty melt! size was smaller especially for the 13$. Fries were good but only because they choose a good frozen brand, not because they had to cook something from scratch. 3 stars

Kids meals were all disgusting. 3 plates of sloppy watered down spaghetti. yuck! even my kids looked at it and were disappointed. they ate it only because they were hungry, not because they actually wanted to. 1 bowl of packet made mac and cheese. no salt or any flavor and was completely luke warm upon arrival. My 2 y/o wouldn't touch it. My older kids ended up covering it in salt and pepper and eating it over eating their spaghetti. 1 star

Decor was dated and tired. I usually look past this as i have found some great food served in old outdated restaurants but in this case, it fits.

You know it's a bad sign when you look around and the guests are all minimum 60 y/o with the haggard look of life on their faces. They must come here often and their lack of taste buds hasn't persuaded them to go elsewhere.

They proudly boast on the sign that they have been around since 1986. Not sure what's keeping them in business. Gross food, gross environment, and a cockroach in the bathroom to top things off at the end. We didn't get food poisoning, but i can see people getting sick eating here.

Had a bad experience. My friend and I ordered a sirloin steak, it was a very cheap, thin cut. Not what I’m expecting when I hear sirloin steak. As soon and it was brought to the table we questioned the cut and were told it was a sirloin. After trying it we were immediately unimpressed, the steak had little to no flavor and the plate was filled with what seemed to be water at the bottom of it. We waited at least 15 minutes for our server to come back and they weren’t even busy. They had us pay 5 dollars each for the wet side salad that was included with the steak instead of comping the entire meal.

This is truly the best place in Oshkosh to get breakfast or a quick lunch/dinner in my experience. I’ve tried all the “family restaurants” around here and this one beats them every single time. One of my favorite things about it is the consistency. Whether you’re dining in or getting delivery, food is always the same. You can tell whoever trains the cooks takes pride in it. As someone with sensory issues, this is a safe place for me. I know exactly what I’ll get when I order something and it’s always hot and delicious. 10/10 every single time. Very rarely do they miss something getting delivered, too. The staff and management are always really friendly and the place is always really clean. Absolutely zero complaints about this place!

Today was my second visit within the last couple months. The first time I ordered Eggs Benedict. The English muffins were hard as a rock and I could hardly cut them with a steak knife. Food was not at all hot.

Today, I ordered the Stuffed Hash Browns. The eggs were great but that's where it ended. The hash browns were 're-hashed' hash browns. They were NOT fresh, nor were they hot, and obviously had been sitting around a while. The menu says "loaded with sauteed onions, green peppers, bacon, extra melted cheese...". Well, "loaded" is a joke...very little bacon, I saw one piece of (raw) green pepper and very little cheese much less "extra" cheese.

Overall, very disappointed with the food. I will say though, the service was pretty good. Probably not going to go back for quite some time.

In no way am I a “food snob”, but my “go to” for many years has always been a BLT. I've had good, bad and really ugly.

A very generous and very nicely staged BLT.

Of course, it’s all about the bacon. Very nice smokey flavor, but a very “well balanced” BLT. No single ingredient stood out or begged for attention.

Also, a lifelong fan of onion rings. Very nice taste and texture. It’s very easy to ruin onion rings. Overcooked with a hard unpleasant “old oil” taste. I had an opportunity to speak with the chef/KM and they filter/change the fryer oil every night.

Very pleasant and attentive server.

If you’ve had an unpleasant experience at Delta, might I suggest a second chance?

My family has been going to this restaurant for years, as my grandparents used to come here when they were alive and lived in the neighborhood.

The new owners are extremely friendly and personable. They will take the time to walk around and make sure everything is as expected. Menu is extensive and the prices are fair. We have come for all day breakfast before, but tonight we came for the all you can eat fish for their Friday special. The food was delicious. Our waitress was responsive and kind as well.

Thank you guys, yet again, for a fun family night out. We will be back!

Met some family there for brunch after church. Moderately busy but there were always a few empty tables in our area. Staff was slow to come to our table for beverage order and food order. Food came out quickly and was OK. My pancakes were not hot and I had to ask our server for syrup but bacon was done just right. 2 of 3 in our party were happy with their meal, remaining person found something odd in his veggie stir fry and just set it aside as none of us could identify it.

We have always had great food and friendly, quick service. Its one of our go-to places to take out-of-town visitors. So I was extremely shocked and disappointed that a “family restaurant” didn’t have a diaper changing table or any useable surface in the bathroom to change my newborn’s diaper. It was hard enough in the summer, changing a #2 in the slanted front seat. I can’t imagine how/ what I’d have done in the winter. Might really want to give serious thought to putting a wall mounted one, in the stall in the women’s bathroom, at least. I will unfortunately have to avoid until I have no small kids with me... :(

Recently placed a delivery order through EatStreet. When the driver got to the restaurant to pick up my order, they let me know that the order wasn't ready yet. Sounds like it was an issue with their printer, which by itself would be understandable. After getting a notification that my order was on the way, I received a call from the restaurant that they had given the driver the wrong order and wanted me to contact the driver. The driver didn't go back to get the correct order, so I received someone else's order. Wound up throwing the wrong order in the garbage, which is not OK! Delta's food is normally pretty good, so no issues there. And the delivery driver did a great job of communicating. But the service from Delta could have been better.

I ordered the senior tilapia with mashed potatoes and sweet corn, also water for the drink. The tilapia was so fishy that I couldn't eat it. My waiter never came back to the table. I ate the potatoes and half the corn. Senior price for this is $10.99, I was charged $13.89. When I said something about the fish, the manager said that he would tell the cook. He not only didn't give me the senior price, he also didn't give me anything off for the fish. So I paid $13.89 for a scoop of potatoes. Never going back

I am a longtime regular customer at Delta and have always appreciated the excellent service, casual atmosphere, and good food. However, I was very disappointed in the owner/ manager tonight when I had the broiled haddock that I have had many times. It was tough and dried tonight. The owner was there and I asked if he got it from a different vendor. He replied that he did not and that maybe the cook overcooked it and walked away. He said that he would talk to them about it. I ate about a third of my haddock and left the rest on the plate. The owner walked by several times and made no effort to offer an apology, another entree, or a discount. I will continue to eat at Delta because I enjoy the excellent waitresses and especially Lily's warm personality, but I am extremely disappointed in how the manager handled a complaint from a loyal customer who never complains. If I had been a new customer, I probably would not return to Delta.

This place has been around for a really long time. They are often busy because of the good food and good prices! I have always had friendly and above average service here. Today I got the gyro with the chicken noodle soup. They give you feta cheese with the gyro! I really enjoyed the meal. I will return for the same thing again in the near future! Then I'll have to try some of their other dishes 🙂. They keep the place clean. They do a really good job with everything here at this restaurant.

In town for a wedding and had to search restaurants who had both biscuits and gravy for me and crepes for my daughter. Ended up here. Never again. Daughters crepes were way overdone, black around the edges. I had the biscuits and gravy breakfast which came with two eggs and choice of hash browns or breakfast potatoes. I ordered scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes and extra gravy on the biscuits. My order came with barely cooked hash browns, two eggs that just had the yolks popped and flipped and cooked crusty brown. $33 for breakfast for two, they charged me an $1.99 for the extra 1/4 cup of gravy. Wish I would have taken a pic because it did not look or taste appealing. Also shoes stuck to the bathroom floor when walking. Yuck!

We just had our Oshkosh Garden Club meeting here tonight in the Delta's backroom. We were,able to order off the menu and they had several daily specials as well. The food was fantastic and Lilly, our server was amazing. She was able to take everyone's order before our meeting and keep them all straight. She is a pleasant gal and has an amazing personality. My BLT was made to perfection and the fries were delicious. I almost opted for one of their three homemade soups. (I've had their Chili and Chicken noodle soup in the past which ate hearty and flavorful.) The owner came out at the end of our meeting to greet us and make sure everything was satisfactory. Everything was more than satisfactory...we were pleased beyond measure.

Update - bad service - stopped in for labor day (2023) breakfast and found the restaurant to be very busy! I think the owner and staff were surprised by the amount of people. However we were seated without a wait. We were given our menus. The waitress went to get out coffees coming back straight away and asked what do you want? We asked for a minute and were given about 55 seconds when she returned asking "what do you want?" We felt forced and ordered two skillets, we didn't mind waiting because we knew there was a rush. We had 2 coffee refills before our food arrived. The skillets were served without words and the waitress left without words. We were amazed. We came to find the food was luke warm to medium warm, but cooked, the skillet plates weren't even warm. The waitress didn't return. The check was dropped off by someone else.
