More times than not, a good experience. Waitresses are typically very friendly and quick with it. However it seems the prices have increased, but hasn’t everything? For 2 adults it was $45. We arrived at 7:45 AM. We were seated right away. Our waters were brought to us 15 minutes later. The waitress came back to take our order. There was one other table in the restaurant. At the time period we ordered the everyday Grand Slam.

Went to Dennys last Tuesday with a friend during first shift for breakfast, the waitress at the time was polite and nice, but after a little later during the day me and my friend returned to get some dessert, my friend got the cookie dough pie while I got the apple crumble pie. My friends dish came out relatively well, while mine at first looked alright was good; but as the ice-cream melted a lot of what looked to be oil came pooling out of it and made me not want to touch it any more. And I had told the waitress at that time who was working the second shift that although it was good at first it had been really oily, and the second shift waitress in what could be proceed as a nice tone, but in a sorta rude manner "well the chef had to mix the stuff with butter inorder to create the crumble sweety"; then proceed to say it a second time. After she had given our check and said that to me, she had then gone back to the kitchen and proceed to say loudly to the cooks enough so that everyone in the building could hear, something along the lines of "well i told her that you guys added butter to make the crumble and that's how it's made, while she had barely touched it and said it was good but oily," And she at another time also bad mouthed loudly to them as well at a earlier time to them something about the first shift waitress(not sure if it was the one from when me and my friend was there for breakfast that she was talking about) and how she apparently was bad at doing her job and needed to re learn all these things and how she would teach would train them better. Note- not all the things mentioned are the exact wording but as close as I can remember what the second shift waitress had loudly said, the building that day was quite with few people and the music was quite so it was very easy to hear what she was saying.

First of all, is the UPCHARGE FOR ORDERING EGGS really necessary???? I think it's an excuse to add on more charges. The Cinnamon Bun pancake was delicious, but I opted for the fruit cup on the side instead of hashbrowns. It was just weird: red grapes in the bottom (thank goodness they took them off the vine); about half a banana, sliced; half an apple sliced into 4 lengthwise pieces, just laid on top. Yes, it was all fresh and tasty, just odd. Oh, and that was another upcharge. With tax and tip (moderate) I spent $25.00 on my breakfast. Yikes!

What a waste of time! Stood in line for about 4-6 minutes with 2 people working behind the counter (I believe one was the manager) and wasn’t busy at all. I took my 19 y.o. son out for breakfast here after the south beloit dennys we previously went to was a big disappointment. Until that last time I did like that location. This dennys in janesville was great. The food was AMAZING! Cooked perfectly,fresh..more than I expected. And Bree our server was just as amazing! I plan on coming back again and again whn I'm in the area. I ordered the same omelot and biscuits&gravy as I did at the other place and this surpassed my 1st meal I didn't enjoy. My son ordered the Maple doughnut holes and I tried them and they were also great. Definitely recommend stopping by here for a great meal.

I've went to this Dennys quite a few times. The waitress was really amazing and had great customer service, but I've never been impressed by any of the food I've ordered. Typical Dennys though. I guess just stick with breakfast foods and that's your best bet. Today I was invited to go to a lunch with friends from church at Dennys and got a side salad and Buffalo wings because it was something they said they could make quickly and I only had about 20-30mins. The wings tasted like they were rolled in salt! Lbs! But the wonderful waitress gave me half off of them when I shared with her about the quality to let them know to tell the cook to not salt them like that for future customers. NOT my first choice place. At least the customer service was a blessing.

The Cinnamon Roll pancakes are awesome. Couldn't brag them up enough. Two very large pancakes would have been more than enough, but the meal came with 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of meat. I didn't want the hashbrowns, so I upgraded to a very delightful fresh fruit bowl (apple & banana slices and also grapes).

Margareet is one of the best servers I have had at a late night Denny's. Our order was taken efficiently and the food was served hot. She got refills for coffee and soda. Unfortunately, Margareet went on break, and we were told "the other manager" would help us. Refills stopped and the guy refused to make eye contact with us. When I went to pay, we were very visible and he knew it, but wouldnt cash us out. He was alerted to our wish to leave and then assigned a 3rd person to do it. (she acted like this had happened before). I might try this Dennys again as there are not many late night choices in Janesville, but I will not stay if manager wimpy is the only available server. I always used to consider this restaurant a place where my family of 6 could go that was more budget friendly overall. It's no longer like that.

Since the last time I've been there, the prices of our same meals have increased nearly $5.00 per meal and it's almost $4.00 for a glass of soda each. I guess we learned that we will drink water at restaurants from now on. It's all about personal choice in the long run. We most definitely didn't get the more expensive meals, either, so that makes it even more disappointing at that.

Wife and I stop in to this Denny's 2 or 3 times a month n we've always had Great service up until last night 7/13/2023.
They had 2 waitresses n 2 tables with customers when we were seated around 5pm. We were sat at a booth that was not wiped down very good on tables edges or the booth seats. Then waitress wasn't very pleasant as past waitresses were polite and made you feel at home. This waitress had her head other places besides the job. She spent more time talking to the 2 cooks the entire time we were there. The food was good true but order wasn't delivered all together. I had breakfast n was to come with toast n when I have to get up n go to waitress who is up yaking to cooks n ask for my toast n its then brought to me cold n Covered with so much butter taken 1 bite makes me want to puke then it says cooks don't care. Toast was done they just left in toaster cause they were to busy Talking instead of doing there Job! There were 5 tables with folks when we left n 2 were still waiting to order 10 minutes after they came in as 1 was set behind us. The bathroom had a nasty smell from drainage hole. They need to learn to pour a half cup bleach into that so sewage smell don't come out and make people want to throw up.
Now let's get to the price of a Cup of coffee. 3.85 ? Really ? This is why I drink bottle water n refuse to touch soda or milk at restaurants. That's Way over priced and Theft by Denny's corporation! I really didn't want to leave a tip as i felt rushed when waitress handed us the check as she delivered food. We use to enjoy this Denny's but after last evenings fiasco will find another place to give our money to.
