Today was my birthday, and I went because Denny’s promotes a free Grand Slam on your special day. The waitress was nice and told us we could choose any option. But when it was time to pay, the system wouldn’t accept the offer.

They called a supervisor, and that’s when things got uncomfortable. The woman who came over was extremely rude, showed no empathy or professionalism. She made no effort to explain or resolve the issue in a polite way.

The salt shakers are way too full that nothing comes out of them. They had to bring packets. Here is an idea ditch the shakers and just have packets at the tables...problem is solved with moisture and overfilling the shakers. Denny's please do better with this.

My dad and I come in here almost every day when I'm visiting. Coming to Denny's on Gammon is a consistently solid experience. The food and service are good, tables cleaned and cleared quickly, and it's just a really nice place to sit and chat over eggs and coffee.

When we come in on the weekends we always look for Mel; she's great! Always friendly and on top of drink refills and making sure we've got everything. During the week we look for Jesye :)

It's Dennys. You know what you're getting when you come in.
Unfortunately today our server just didn't want to do it. Had to repeat our order four times before they got it, and then they didn't provide any refills or visit our table ever again.

When we were done eating I went up to pay, but had to wait nearly 10 minutes for anyone to help me. Our server was outside and the kitchen was empty. After paying I asked for a box, and then I did not get the box until a second employee realized the server was not helping me. Maybe the server was just having a bad day? Either way it's the worst service I've received in a long time, and I didn't feel welcome or wanted.

Stopped by the Denny’s on S Gammon Rd while passing through Madison. It was… pretty much what you’d expect from a Denny’s—decent food, no surprises. Pancakes were solid, coffee kept coming, so no complaints there.

That said, the wait staff could’ve been a bit more welcoming. Not rude, just kind of going through the motions. A smile or a little small talk would’ve gone a long way.

Overall, an okay spot if you're looking for something predictable and quick. Just don’t expect a warm and fuzzy diner vibe.

Horrible! Waitress was polite, but messed up our order bad! We kept being brought food and eating each others because we kept being given the wrong food. When we finally get our food correct 3/4 of the table had already finished eating. Myself and my wife didn’t even get to eat. What a waste! I’m so beyond pissed! $135 Dollars waisted! Update 3/26/25: Came in for breakfast and started with a Carafe of coffee, that's new, so nice to be able to do your own refills like Perkins. Cassie was a new server for us and she was really nice and friendly, fast service too! The pancakes are still the best at Dennys. The Classic Eggs Benedict were okay. I found the hollandaise sauce a bit much and too much sauce. Still enjoyed breakfast.

Update 1/25/24 We came in specifically for the Bourbon Chicken Skillet and a side of pancakes (See picture). It was terrific, perfect brunch (Available starting at 11am). Service from Hector T was great as always. This Dennys location has its act together and the cooks are much improved post Covid. Don't believe any of the 1 Star reviews!

Not 24 hours, but open at 5 am! We ordered the Super Slam breakfast which is NOT on the printed menu for only $7.99! I took a screen shot from the Dennys Online and just asked my server and yes you can order it. Great value - 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 pork sausage, 2 pancakes and hashbrowns!! (See video).

There was a new young lady. She had to look at our menus to know what we were ordering. Which is OK. She was trying. We saw her when she took our drinks, appetizer as well as when she needed to know what we ordered. She was new so I didn't say anything about my eggs. I love Denny's in general. It's the main restaurant I visit when I eat out in my area. I happened to be in WI recently & after a fun adventure, my sister, grandson & I wanted supper. Low & behold, there was a Denny's close to the adventure park. I said "How about Denny's?" The vote was a resounding yes! The staff was great. The food was delicious & they happily toasted my low carb bread for me instead of their toast.

We are early morning Sunday breakfast eaters. The food is delicious and served fast and hot. Our server Jesye is our go to person. Always professional, with loads of personality.
