Denny's used to have good food. I stopped there a couple weeks ago and it was some of the most putrid, low quality, disgusting food I've ever given2 my dog .. and even then I only gave him some of the hash browns.(burnt)& 1/2 sausage link. The pan cakes were also VERY over done. (2out of 3 were basically burnt) Threw 70% away.🤢🤮 (The young man who waited on me was nice and courteous though.)

I was visiting Madison and Dennys was next to hotel I was staying at just off East Washington/ 151. I had to wait to check in and grabbed a bite at Dennys. It was not very busy but soon after sitting down one of the waitresses was in a foul mood. She was on a rant and she was throwing out F bombs and swearing up a storm yelling. Threatening to leave and it was not being handled by others to quiet her down and stop acting that way. Someone finally told her to stop and calm down but after all that I finally decided to order and it was up pretty quick as it was not that busy that afternoon. All I got was a regular burger and fries. It was ok nothing special about it just glad I was able to get something in my stomach after a very long drive. As well as the atmosphere and mood of the staff there at Dennys after a bit of commotion from that one waitress. Nice and quiet and I could eat my meal in peace.

Driving in, you can tell this place is a bit neglected. I realize that most of the East Towne Mall is closed so business traffic may have peaked years ago, but the pot holes need to be filled in! Scrambled eggs and sausage links were cold. I sat at the counter. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. I was charged $3 more than the menu indicated.

The waitress was rude. gave us our table after waiting 10-15 mins and the restaurant was empty at this time we asked to see the value meals menu and she said they should get rid of that menu and people should get better jobs. Exactly what I've come to expect from Denny's. Predictable is what I'm looking for when I visit a Denny's and this place was a predictable Denny's experiencing every way that I can think of. The food was exactly the way it should be prepared based on every other time I've had Denny's. The staff was friendly, although not as attentive as some of the servers I've had in the past at other Denny's. When I entered it there were three servers standing together talking and I had to initiate contact before they noticed I was waiting for someone to help me. Overall the restaurant was clean for a Denny's, but If I'm being honest honest that's not a very high bar to get over. The furnishings are a little outdated, but that's also pretty typical for a greasy spoon diner and I'm okay with it. It snowed the day I visited this location and there was no attempt made to clear up anything except the sidewalk right in front. It was already pretty late in the day when I visited so I'm sure that they have a contract with somebody who could have come by at least once and had not. Denny's nise is what you're looking for, this is exactly what you're going to get.

Went in there around 10 PM as we just arrived in the area and were looking forward to some food after an 8 hour drive. Once we entered, the guy said “We stopped accepting dine in customers after 9 PM”. He didn’t say hello, didn’t ask if we are dining in or ordering for take out or even picking up an already placed order. We told him that’s exactly what we’re here for, to pick up an order we placed online. He asked for my name and said “Oh. I am packing that up now”. That was just a bit unprofessional. The food was not good at all. I had ordered a salad and it seemed like they just threw a bunch of vegetables together. It was a mix of a chef salad, southwest salad and Cesar salad. The pancakes and waffles were okay and really the only reason for the second star on this review. Overall just a disappointing experience and not to mention, completely overpriced!

I usually write good reviews and try not to leave bad reviews. However, this won't be a good review. I would avoid this place. The waitress wasn't very nice. Never refilled my coffee. I asked for my hashbrowns to be cooked more. They weren't even brown on one side. The food was mediocre. I'm sad about this experience. We left her a tip because we're nice people, but she didn't deserve it. As we were walking out, she had her back to us. So we had to say have a good night. Then she acknowledged us. It is what it is. Never going back to a Denny's ever again. I was a kid last time I went to a Denny's. That was a good experience. Now it's ruined forever. I shouldn't have to announce I'm a food critic. Which is why I don't.

Dennys is a classic. The prices are always good. I can't complain, I only wish they would stop getting rid of the good items from the menu. In previous years, I've had some great Skillets, which was my go-to item, and now I'm forced to go with some of their other options. If you're a fan of pancakes, you'll live their selection. The service that we received was not very pleasant. I received a coffee cup with lipstick. When I asked for a new coffee cup without lipstick. I received a dirty look with a sigh. When I requested the new glass. I didnt even have a drink out of my coffee and received my food before I received a new cup of coffee. Very bad experience with the waitress. This was our first time visiting this location. There was an employee sleeping in a booth and the bathroom smelled like stale cigarettes. We waited 30 minutes before a waiter came to our table for our drink order. Another 20 minutes with no drinks. We left and let an employee know we were leaving due to the lack of service. Unfortunately, I cannot in good conscience give this location a positive review. When we 1st walked in the foyer smelled of urine and rodent feces. The eating area was sticky but surface clean. The food was absolutely the worst. I took 2 bites and became sick about 30 minutes later. I cannot recommend this location for cleanliness, safety or for families. My husband tried eating about half of his and we left. We were on vacation, and this was a breakfast stop before getting back on the road. JUST DON'T.

I am trying to get a refund for an online order that was confirmed via email, but the place was closed when I arrived before the pickup time I was given. When I call the number given to call about problems the only option is to order by phone. No one answers for any other reason. I had to drive there a 2nd time to give the information about the order I was charged for and did not receive. The employee told me they would give the information to the general manager and they would contact me. Hasn't happened.

During an excessive heat warning, 86°, they did not have the air conditioning on. When I asked, I was dismissed with "We can't." If you have issues with heat, please choose a different Denny's location during the summer.
