I had a pick up order, once I finally saw someone to help me it was poor customer service and had to drive back to return food that wasn’t right, my hubby had the chicken fried chicken dinner which tasted as if it was cooked in old grease and the country sauce wasn’t thick and tasteless, I ordered the T-bone medium cooked and let’s just say it was so over cooked I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Waste of gas, time and money.

Our waitress was super nice, she wasn’t the one who brought out our food thought my fíance ordered cheesy fries instead of hashbrowns and he doesn’t like bacon so I asked for soft bacon because I recently got braces. Everything came out he got has browns instead of his fries both of our pancakes were over cooked and his bacon was hard, I work in a restaurant I know what to expect. We waited a while for a food also. When he got his cheesy fries there was barely any cheese on them, we’re paying extra for these why is there like barely a handful? I’d say your better off going to a different Dennys

Me and my boyfriend came in to eat around roughly 6:30pm. Our waiter named brandy took our order as we spoke softly but to a point where to could hear, she kept having us to repeat our self’s 2 or 3x’s. I asked for the triple juicy burger and also asked for a sampler which had boneless wings, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, & fries. Never got my sampler. My boyfriend ordered a T-bone steak and asked that his eggs have cheese. Also he asked for his has-browns to be cooked a bit hard than usual. Order came out totally opposite.

On May 18,2025 I went into the Denny's restaurant on Brown Deer road to have my Sunday dinner after church. The customer service and the meal itself was great. The problem was the manager named Kim was horrible. You could hear her from our table screaming and belittling one of the washers/busboy from the back. The young man named Darcey came out from the back upset with tears in his eyes. I talked with him to keep him calm which he did. He said she always talks to me like that. I talked to other workers who stated she always talks to us like that. I asked to speak with the manager named Kim to let her know her behavior was very unprofessional and she ruined our meal!! She began to become verbally hostile with me as she began to make excuses for her behavior mind u never taking responsibility for her behavior being in a management position! So I kindly ended the conversation requesting her corporate info which she stated she did not have but gave me her district managers number which went straight to vm. Then she went back into the kitchen and began to loudly scream at Darcey again before telling him to leave even tho they were already short staffed!! I will be calling corporate 1st thing Monday morning her behavior was totally unacceptable and she needs to be either fired or re-trained immediately!!

I was not sure of going to Dennys, but I'm glad I did I ordered the fish dinner with a side of Mac n cheese and a salad. Let me tell you, the Mac n cheese was far the BEST I MEAN THE BEST I have ever had. It was better than any Mac n cheese out of the store or any where I have had. The fish as well was nicely prepared and the salad was nice and fresh, but had no French dressing, but it was still just as good. I definitely will be back especially for the
MAC N CHEESE . The service was also very good our waitress was very attentive and very nice . Thank you 😊

We went to some Denny's around the country and this one was the worst so far. We had to wait 15 minutes until we could order. Our coffee took another 15 minutes to be brought to our table. Then another 10-15 minutes until our food arrived. Then we got our food but no cutlery. It took 2 more minutes to get cutlery (we were the only ones to get plastic cutlery). The food is alright, but overpriced. Family Table Diner can give you similarly or even cheaper food with better quality. My main concern is regarding hygiene. I used the bathroom there a week ago and saw a roll of toilet paper that appeared to be half-chewed up, both paper and roll, while still in the toilet paper holder. I’ve come across some weirdos during my brief time in Brown Deer, so I figured it might have been the work of a hobo or something. When I shared the picture with a custodian friend of mine, he says that it is the work of mice. This establishment proudly boasts an A in sanitation on their front door, yet they appear to have a mouse problem. I think I’ll go get my food elsewhere.

Also, their limited time caramel berry waffles are hard as a rock and almost impossible to cut. I think they overdo it with the caramel when cooking and it seeps deep into the waffle and crystallizes within from the heat. The vanilla berry crepes are good, though.

Everything was horrible from the customer service to the food… I ordered the $7.99 scrambled egg&cheese, bacon, 2 sausages, and pancakes and felt like I ordered a Happy meal from McDonald’s… I barely had any eggs on my plate and then they didn’t even give me my 2 sausages with my food as it was supposed to come with it… Then when I ask about my 2 sausages the guy with the orange Afro tells me it doesn’t come with it and said do I want them I said yes I want my 2 sausages as shown in the picture so he brings them to me then when I get my bill he has in it that I paid for 2 sausages and I showed him the picture of how it already supposed to come with 2 sausages he grabs the manager and the manager had to take the $2 dollars off my bill because my food comes with 2 sausages and he was very upset about that

It was a bad day for my friend to take me to Denny's. Neither the servers nor the host informed us that there was only one cook compared to the usual day of three cooks. There was no info that there would be an hour wait time until 5 minutes before our food arrived. Still didn't get everything as requested. I felt bad for the lonely cook working hard while the servers sat around complaining. If anything, the servers should have helped the cook with the food orders. A restaurant only works if your employees work as a team. I must say the manager did give us a discount for the wait. I would have rather gone somewhere else.

This review is based on my last experience there. Usually it's pretty good with good service. My last visit was terrible. I had to go looking for the waiter 2 times because he was simply not coming to check on us. Laronda... manager or supervisor of this location is terrible. My husband and I have frequented this location many times. Some visits would be dine in others carry out. We ordered most recently two carry out orders, one in store and one online. We had missing items from both orders. Called to advise Denny's, but we were treated as if we were seeking handouts instead of seeking what we paid for by Laronda. She was rude and made aqusations that we had paid for lesser items when our second order was not correct and refused to be accountable. We lived about 25 minutes away, and there was no way we should have been expected to return to the store for missing toast the first order and the second order... we ordered 3 quarter pound burgers and fries amongst other things and received "value burgers" with no lettuce, tomatoes, smashed, gross, small... not what we wanted. To make matters worse, a gratuity was automatically forced on my bill. It was not earned. It was forced. I have called the local store and corporate. We have yet to receive a call back.

Came in on Thanksgiving, 1 person. Food was whatever, but I dealt with 2 different people not really sure who my server was. No silverware, no refills, no you okay over here, then after I was done no check. They seemed too busy messing up the booth of 4 next to me to offer me anything. I like this location to a certain extent. The food is fresh and absolutely hot. There is not that long of a wait at all. You're seated right away even if they're busy, which is a plus a much appreciated. Also, anything you eat there is filling so you will get your money worth. I am a 40 year long time customer of Denny's all around the country and, I love Denny's menu and seasonal entrees. This unplanned late lunch turned out wonderful! I was greeted by a smiling, positive young lady who seated and gave me a menu. She made pleasant conversation asking if she could get me anything to drink while I looked at the menu. She brought my water request straight away. I wasn't ready to order right then, so she returned a few minutes later. I ordered one of my favorites, a build your own burger with one of the current specials to upgrade to the beer batter onion rings.
I must say it was delicious!
Grilled to perfection sesame bun, fresh red tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, grilled onions and cheddar cheese on the perfectly cooked burger. And, I am really glad that I tried her suggestion of the addition of Bourbon sauce! The entire restaurant and tables were clean. Including all of of the condiment bottles on the tray! Upbeat music in the background made this late lunch a great experience after a long day.
Laronda the Mgr came by to make sure that everything I ordered was as expected and I happily told her that indeed, everything was fantastic!
The staff made my experience this afternoon at this Denny's wonderful
and the owners of the restaurant
aught to know.
I can't wait to return for the seasonal turkey specials that Laronda told me are definitely arriving soon!
All around great service from everyone at this Brown Deer location for my unexpected stop in for a late lunch!

Horrible experience was told my food would be done at a certain time it was not waited additional 20 min still was not done cooks saying slick thing like oh just cause he here doesn’t mean it going to go any faster on god the other cooks says now remind you I’ve been waiting a total 20 min later after my food was pose to be done then when I tried to cancel they told me the don’t do refunds company policy horrible I tell you

While the food options were good, the execution by the kitchen staff was not up to par. Modifications like no cheese or mayo were not followed and then took a long time to replace. The kitchen staff could also be heard complaining that items needed to be remade. The wait staff seemed fine. Overall I wouldn't visit this location again they seem complacent with business off of the Dennys name but the experience and customer service care aren't worth the money.

Dude working front was very disrespectful and had an attitude as I tried to pick up my food. When he tried redirecting me to the back he walked away so I couldn’t make out what he was saying. Proceeded to insult me and be rude. Kept talking crazy about me when he walked back in the kitchen and as I was picking up my food. Staff needs better training and to lighten up. Would not recommend bringing your kids/family here. Tried to contact manager by phone and they ignored me. Not worth it👎👎

My man and I decided to come sit down and eat here after our walk. It smells like feet or a gym locker coming through the door. The manager is otp arguing with someone and a young man came out to seat us. The seats were dirty so was the table. Then the next booth he tried seating us in was worse than the first then he told us to just sit wherever. It was flies everywhere the cutlery was filthy and some of the food was burned. They gave my partner what looked like half pieces of bacon and still put hashbrowns on his plate after he said he didn't want them. I would give them a star horrible experience.

Staff was very inattentive I waited 20 minutes before ordering 2 pancakes that took over 20 more minutes to receive. I’m not sure I can recommend dining at this location maybe the puck-up experience is better.

The restaurant was empty and no workers visible. Waited for over 10 mins to be seated but no one came to assist so my friend and I just left.
