Let’s talk about the food…. My eggs were fluffy (scrambled), not over or under cooked and tasty. My pancakes were very tasty and fluffy! I enjoyed them. I had bacon, cooked properly and all served fresh!

Went on a Sunday, really nobody was there eating besides another couple. The waitress was prompt, except when we wanted to pay, went up to the register and just waited for someone to come, I prob could have just left, but I'm not like that, only waited there a couple minutes, but enough time for someone to walk out unnoticed. The place was really clean, that's expected especially since there was really no one else there. It's a decent size inside, prices a bit on the high end for the quality of the food. I got spaghetti which a toddler probably could have made better, a LOT of sauce and an ok amount of over cooked spaghetti. Picture forgetting the noodles are cooking and throwing a whole jar of sauce onto one serving of pasta. If your by the airport looking for a bite to eat, I would just find another place. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the waitress was nice. She did ask if everything is OK, I didn't mention my spaghetti was horrible, just left it there

Most of the staff was friendly and our server greeted us quickly with drinks and an appetizer. After that, she vanished. It took 10 minutes just to get ranch, and once our food came she bolted again. We needed sauces and napkins shortly after our food was dropped off. We sat in the back booth by the kitchen and literally made eye contact with her as she ran off to avoid us. When she finally returned 10 minutes later, she had an attitude. We only had our food for about 15 minutes and not even halfway done before she dropped the check and copped an attitude again when we said we wanted dessert, then disappeared for good. The host ended up bringing our dessert. There were about 4 tables seated including us, so we had a hard time understanding why there was such a delay in service, and as a server I’m usually very sympathetic. Definitely memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.

Both meals were well prepared with the exception of the steak sandwich being delicious until a large section of grizzle. Should have been trimmed out by the chef as it was unnoticed until it couldn't be chewed and had to be awkwardly spit out. Other meal and drinks were good. Waitress didn’t write down order and spoke so soft you could barely understand her. Because she didn’t write down she returned to table twice to confirm order. Of course order was wrong. We were going to buy a cookie thing to support childhood cancer as that is a cause important to is because our son had cancer but nope, here’s the receipt so never got a chance. Insomnia brought me to the diner before dawn. It was nearly empty, resembling the scene from Edward Hopper's Nighthawks. The morning waitress' name was Dasanni, like the bottled water. She was hard at work mopping the floors when I arrived. She managed the floors and took care of the other early birds and myself. She was prompt and efficient; a good worker. The food was served faster than I expected and my bottomless coffee cup was never close to finished before Dasanni was there with a fresh refill. Overall, a great start to the morning after a long night.

Came in yesterday and waited 2-3 minutes before anyone even came out of the kitchen to seat us. There was only one table with a couple but the whole place was empty otherwise; so much so that the entire table section had the chairs upturned. We were seated, not offered drinks and told, "Your server will be right with you." Then we sat for 10+ minutes while at least 3 different women gossiped loudly in the kitchen. No one ever came out to check on us. We just got up and left. The other couple were sitting staring absently into the abyss with no food in front of them. They probably had been waiting even longer. Denny's has recently been reinstated as a regular stop for us. I was a cook there back in the early 1980s and am glad to see the place get resurrected with good food and service once more. The Beefy Meaty Melt sandwich is stupid good. I get an extra to take home. Warm it up a little in micro for 30 sec. Put some butter in a pan on the stove and heat it up, but don't burn it. Re- grill the sandwich until golden brown. A top 10 of the things I eat. A little oil in the same pan re- frys the french fries. It is easy to cook them too much, so keep an eye on them. Way better than reheated microwave frys. My strawberry shake was the real deal, too.
