I am in WI for a funeral from Phoenix, AZ.
Denny's is a favorite go to there as well.
Now the staff in WI, one in particular is a gal named Ashley. She has been my waitress 3 times. She is the most efficient waitress I have ever had. She waited on my 2 sisters & myself with such a sweet personality & compassion for our loss.
GIVE THIS GAL A RAISE!

Ashley was out server. She is friendly, fast, and detail oriented. We look for her each and every time we come in. She would do good to train your other help. Not someone I would want to lose as an employee. Hope you all consider this when it comes to raises and promotions. Don't drop the ball on this one.

I have knee pain from an old surgery so I ordered curbside. No one answers the phone. No one comes out. Had to go back and forth because they needed my phone to prove my order. Kids meal was missing the toast. Had to go in a 3rd time to get the toast which was not buttered. Also missing the cheese I paid almost $2 for on the eggs. Then to top it off, I had to listen to a cook complain about having to make the missing toast. Do it right the first time, and you wouldn't have to complain about doing your job.

I had the opportunity to eat here when my company was replacing their lights for an upgrade. The food was outstanding. Seriously, they could’ve used it for their menu. It looks so tasty. My crêpes were delicious. (I’d like to note at this point I’ve run full service restaurants, too in the past)
After eating, I worked eight hours on the ladder, changing out lights and observing. In the evening, they filled up an entire section in about 10 minutes. They. Were. Busy. The only server at the time, Ashley, was amazing. She moves with purpose while still making people feel welcome. Without exaggeration, she probably had 10 tables at one time. And they were all happy. Their line cook, Peter, clearly has talent (and was super courteous to us while we were there). He was working alongside the manager, Rory, who jumped online to help out. I don’t think I saw Rory stopped working the entire time. That’s rare for managers, who sometimes think their job is simply to tell people what to do. he was running Food, cashing people out, and helping cook. That man is amazing. The team here works so well together, and they clearly enjoy each other.
If you’re looking for a great meal, A friendly atmosphere, and a well lit dining area, look no farther than this Denny’s. Kudos!

So, I got the new brisket melt. Not only are the “burnt ends” just charcoal rocks, there were other ingredients not listed on the menu. However, the service was the worst. There is one server, unsure of his name due to lack of name tag, who is rude every time I’m here. He rolled his eyes when I complained about the sandwich, and said “Well you better pick a different one because this is how it’s gonna come out every time”. Just very rude. The manager was incredibly kind, removed it from the bill, and mentioned talking to the server as well. They need to fire him, he’s horrible. Also, we waited for over an hour for our food, just for this.

We have eaten at this Denny's before and we try to visit it when we visit it.
The person who greeted us was friendly sat us and got us our drinks and said Sarah would be our server. Well after about 5 mins of waiting she came over took the order.
The hash browns were sent back to be cooked longer. Food wasn't the best.
As a former server, I know you have to touch the table at least 2 to 3 times to make sure that everything was good and if they anything. She didn't.
We will probably come back next time we are in town, but not at night.

We had dinner at the Racine WI Denny's tonight, even though they only had 2 waitresses, our waitress Theresa H, was excellent. She apologized up front for possible slow service, but she was on top of everything, we didn't wait for anything. She was friendly and attentive even though she had many other tables to wait on and clean. Our meal was delivered hot and it was really good. We'll be back and ask for Theresa if she is working.

I just finished their Thanksgiving takeout. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes. Broccoli, and garlic bread. It was really good and only $16. Would have liked more gravy tho. The best part was no cleanup. I plan to do this next year too.
