Went to Denny's and was waited on by a server named Jenny/ Jennifer. I was in restaurant management for 5 years so I am very attentive to the surroundings when we go out to eat but we make sure that if a server, manager, or cook is doing a great job we either tip 30%+, buy drinks, or at least let them know they were doing a great job. However, when they need to be removed from a situation we also will let the company/restaurant know. I haven't seen a server so rude, lazy, and completely disrespectful of authority in years until we were waited on by Jenny or Jennifer. She allowed our food to get cold in the window while she played on her phone sitting at the counter, completely ignored her immediate supervisor and showed verbal disrespect, and was rude to the chef on duty. Not only that but she was very inappropriately bending over at tables while getting orders. I felt uncomfortable the entire time. I did address this with the manager on duty who was a pleasure to speak with. He offer to comp us a dessert however we declined. I am hoping this gets addressed A.S.A.P. before you lose more clientele.

The waiters are very friendly and are always checking if you need more to drink or if the food is good. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner but you can get any of them at any time of the day. By far the worst service I have ever recieved.
I had to ask for my drink to be refilled after waiting over 40 minutes with my cup sitting on side of table.
I ordered a cali club, the bread was soggy not toasted, the avacado was brown.
My son ordered a bourban bacon burger that was so greasy he couldnt even eat it with the bun because the grease soaked into the bun it became mush.
We also ordered a sampler appetizer. The marinara sauce was burnt an tasted sour.
I had to wait another 10 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge we excisted to ask for ranch.

I used to eat here all the time. Won't go back. Was told to "sit anywhere in that section" I asked for a seat that was not near a window as a storm was coming and I didn't want to be near a window. They only seat not near the window was dirty. Asked if she would wipe it for me and got told "just sit here, it's close enough".

We all ordered breakfast. My hash browns were undercooked. She said she could "microwave " them for me. My husband's steak was overcooked and was told "that's rare" not what we ordered. My son ordered a shake, did not get the metal leftovers like usual. Was told "we can't do that anymore" but she gave it to him in a paper cup anyway and told him to "not say anything"

Me and my friend went there on a Sunday morning around 3am, and there was only one server and one cook so yes, we had a bit of a wait before we had our order taken. A table of 6 was before us and people kept coming in during times I don’t think they’re usually that busy— so I’m not mad about waiting, I get it.

Well, where do I start here me And my wife stopped here for dinner on our travels. The server that we had obviously was a new server being trained very good at her job. But unfortunately, was being trained by somebody that only cared about money. And quite frankly, had told the server multiple times that families, you aren't going to get a tip single people, you're not going to get a tip. Couples like them. You're not gonna get a tip at all the constant, cussing that came out of the all of the employees, including the manager that was on duty. That night was downright some of the most awful restaurant behavior I have ever seen in my 41 years of life and also being a restaurant manager. I was absolutely appalled at the fact that they were out there, cussing like they while on the floor. As for the food, we were told that there was only one cook on duty. In that it was going to be a little while. It took over 35 minutes to get an Omelette and sandwich made. When the food came out, the hash browns were half cooked the omelet. It was subpar, at best. My wife's fries were cold like they had been sitting there for almost 10 minutes. Waiting for the rest of the food to be made. So out of spite, after hearing her trainer, tell her that she was not going to get a tip from me or my wife. We left a 30% tip on top of everything, even though that the food was horrible. But her service was very good. If I had one word of advice for that server, don't listen to a thing that you were told by that trainer

I went there with high hopes. I thought that it would be a typical Denny's with typical Denny food. I was sorely disappointed. The management was nice and even took my critique professionally. And all of this was while I was starving. Almost anything could have tasted good. This meal cost me $30 with tip & 20% discount.
The problems were...
I ordered well done, and I got my bacon floppy my hash browns were still raw crunchy but slimy, they took liberties with the scrambled eggs and added cheese when I didn't order any, the Crepes I ordered that were supposed to have seasonal fruit on it came with frozen strawberries that they did nothing to just defrosted and poured the water juice all over the crepes. I couldn't eat it.
The Crepes were cold and the strawberries were very cold. Breakfast dish arrived chilly none of which made sense because it all arrived within about 10 minutes of ordering it. It's almost like I got someone else's returned food. So bad!

I'm not expecting an extravagant experience when I walk in to a Denny's but I am expecting a level of professionalism that doesn't contain a greeter that is excessively talking to servers very loudly, obnoxiously, and negatively about how she just got there and the credit card machines aren't working; talking loud enough for the whole dining room to hear the negativity and complaining.

I also expect after waiting for about 20-25 minutes for food, that it be hot and made right. IF the dining room was very busy I can understand wait times but there were only two other tables present.
None of the food was hot, not even warm.

I ordered a Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger and asked for it medium rare (ultimately wanting it medium, knowing it would most likely be over-cooked) after reading on the bottom of the menu that I could, at my discretion and knowing the risks of undercooked meat. The server Sam told me all the burgers are cooked the same, so I politely asked if she would ask the cooks; I never received confirmation on the doneness of my burger until I received it. The well-done, grayed beef patties of the Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger had no Bourbon sauce, no bacon, no mushrooms, no roasted red peppers, or sautéed onion. To top all that off, what I believe to be an eyelash was on my non-melted cheese, peeking out from under the bun. My girlfriend ordered chicken tenders and fries and even those weren't hot, let alone warm. I was asked if I wanted my burger remade and I politely declined and just asked for the bourbon sauce; setting the piece of cheese off to the side.

Towards the end of mine and my girlfriend's visit, we could hear the greeter asking who had a dessert to go and came to ask us if it was ours. I could hear her complaining about our server to other staff loudly, in the open. Expecting the greeter to grab our to go dessert since she was loud about a dessert sitting out, we waited a few minutes and nothing was brought out. A second server brought our desert out.

The servers were good enough; friendly and courteous. It wasn't their fault the food was made wrong or carelessly. The second server understood my frustration with the poor food and asked a manager to allow a discount. I greatly appreciated the assistance with that. Who ever the greeter was though, not very pleasant at all and negative.

**Terrible Experience - We Won’t Be Back**

My wife and I had an awful experience at Denny’s recently. When we arrived, the restaurant was dirty and clearly not well-maintained. We were seated, but no one came to take our order, even after waiting for 30 minutes. The waitress never even acknowledged us.

When I finally approached the host to express our frustration, I was met with a rude response. Instead of an apology or any attempt to make things right, he yelled at me, stating they were busy. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

We ended up leaving without ordering and will not be returning. Denny’s, you’ve lost customers forever. I hope management addresses these issues because this is no way to run a business.

We stopped going to Dennys a few months ago because the food wasn't the best anymore BUT the service was always a 10/10 also with so many other new brunch and breakfast restaurants opening in the area we decided to skip Dennys. Today was our first time visiting again and we were immediately surprised they did a complete upgrade to the place and looks more modern. We weren't expecting much regarding the food but our usual regular dishes was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, and we were relieved that they're back to being tasty and in a much better environment. Tara was our waitress today, she was lovely and attentive. We will definitely be back as regulars. And if you ever had a bad experience before, give them a try again, it might surprise you like we were surprised and in a good way!

My family of 4 sat to eat last night. Our waitress forgot numerous things and came to check on us only once. We had gotten 2 kids meals and mine and my fiancés food. Within our 4 plates of food 3 of them each had a hair. I saw an omelet sitting in an eighth of an inch of grease. My skillet was filled with grease. I don't think I have had a worse meal in the last decade. Maybe even my entire life. We came in as a party of 4, a little after Midnight and it was not busy at all. It took quite awhile to have our order taken and when we asked for a refill on our drinks, our waitress rolled her eyes at us. Then, 3 of our 4 meals came out, 2 Moons Over Myhammy and Sirloin Steak and Eggs with cold, half raw hash browns. The last meal, Salted Caramel Pancakes took an additional 15 mins to come out. When I asked if they were almost done prior, I got the response of "they are being cooked, we only have one cook like I told you". Meanwhile, other customers who came in after us were getting their food. All our meals should have came out at the same time. Especially since the PANCAKES were the easiest to make! We have our Veterans (weekly) Cup of Coffee -VCC- here on Wednesday mornings. All branches of service, no rank, no dues. Denny's is very accommodating to our large group.
The staff and their very friendly service they provide has everything to do with our now over ten years old group and growing membership.
Denny's has a fine senior menu as well as a calorie count listed with the menu choices. Not only that but there's a rewards card for every 5 of any meal purchased, you get a free senior meal!
There's a new menu just out. Ever more yummy. Make your tummy happy and dine here!

I use to go to Dennys all the time. The last two times I have been to the rothschild/weston Dennys have been horrible experiences. I'm going to tell you about my most recent one. We ordered two avocado burgers a half order appetizer of nachos, a kids oreo ice cream, one raspberry iced tea. When we got our food one of the burger didn't have fries (that were supposed to come with it) so we had to wait for them to be done. The burgers were so over cooked they were barley edible. The avocados were not ripe they were rock hard. The oreo shake was the texture of water. Then when the bill came the order wasn't put in right. Both drinks were put in as completely different drinks that cost more then the ones we ordered. When I went up to pay for the food and told her about our experience she took 4$ off the order. I left and was still upset about the experience considering we didn't eat the burgers and were over charged for the drinks. I called and asked to speak to a manager and his reaction was what do you want me to do to fix it and why didn't you ask for a manager when you were here. I did tell the lady checking us out what happend and she didn't go get her manager so I left it at that. If it was me I wouldn't have someone pay for food that was overcooked or a all over horrible experience. Worst dinner ive had and sad about the 45$ i spent on food i didnt eat.. Never going back

She didn't bring my bread and never came back to at least see if we were ok. Food was good but super bad service.

False times on ordering online. I would get off work at 10pm and try to order but it would never let me order take out. Why do we have to call for a take out when ordering online is more convenient?

I paid 44.50 for 2 meals and 2 drinks!!! I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and they charged me 1.29 for CHEESE on my CHEESEburger. My burger way GRAY. It tasted like it was boiled! I paid an extra 1.29 for ONE SLICE of bacon cut in half to be put on my burger. By the time the food got to my table half of it was cold. The hashrowns were undercooked and so were the fries... The egg and the ham were..edible to say the least. I wouldn't recommend going here anytime soon until they get better staff.
