I asked for extra crispy fries ypu handed me fries from the warmer... or you let it sit. I dont order ahead for this issue.

The bag was cold from sitting on the counter? While I waited for extra crispy fries packed on the bottom

Literally the mozzarella sticks sitting on top which made my fries a wet bag creating a soggy fry....

Mozzarella takes 5 minutes extra crispy fries take longer

Last straw is ordering and waiting and not being handed what you asked for...

Certainly not maintaining food temps you can't fake not melted cheese if that beef was 165F when prepared...

Gyros, Beefs and Hot Dogs are delicious! Fries aren't anything to write home about.
Service is good and friendly as long as the older, heavier guy isn't there, he has no personality and no people skills.
Beverages are available in cans. We went a block away and got a fountain drink at McD's.
Only takeout available, no place to sit and eat.
Be sure to wash your hands before going here because they don't offer anywhere to do this.
Food is worth the half hour drive.

My friend treated me to dogworld last week. I got the Chicago hot dog. He had the badass burger. Guy who answered phone sounded annoyed that we were calling. Took 50+ minutes for the food to arrive. old man Driver initially drove to neighbor, had a real attitude when he did arrive. no customer service skills at all. The Chicago dog was rubbery to boot, I'd give zero stars if I could.

Love this place. Go to place for when I’m not quite sure what to eat or what I’m hungry for, but they have everything. I love their Chicago dogs. Shakes are very good very thick. Once in a while, I’ll call and have them make dogs with some odd stuff on it and They make it.
Not a sit down place, pick up and go pick up eat in your car.
Service is good, not overly friendly due to that they’re busy.
Usually quick service you put a phone order in. It’s ready in 10- 15 minutes.
Being from Chicago, I like my hotdogs and this is the closest place I could get to to have really good Chicago dogs.

Came in dog world at about 830pm and ordered a gyro and fry with extra onion and lettuce added and an Italian beef with a sausage. The gyro was horribly made just sloppy and cold a ton off sauce on the bread and chopped onions and 2 tomatoes smashed in sauce on soggy bread with cold gyro meat on the top and not much meat at all either..They had already took the gyro meat off the spindle so that should have been a sign from the beginning it would have been threw together .. Don’t waste your time or money folks!

TLDR: Gave 5 stars because service was friendly and speed of order was good even with constant calls coming in, food was great, place was small which made getting that good of food and service all the better. Impressed.

Usually a gyro is a gyro and I like it unless its garbage. I liked the gyro. But I got 2 other items that actually surprised me at how good they were. I'll start with the chicken wings. I went in expecting subpar wings at a decent price. These bad boys were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the batter had a nice flavor. Not overbearing but enough flavor you could eat it alone or with a sauce. And the size of the wings were fairly decent, good amount of meat. Definitely recommend for wing lovers. Finally, my favorite part. The gyro nacho fries.... amazing. Theres a key to eating them though. DO NOT MIX the ingredients. Eat it as is, grabbing a bite with each layer included, from top to bottom. My girlfriend mixed hers and the difference was clear. They serve it the way they do because damn its good that way. The right amount of flavor from each ingredient comes together with a sensational mouthful of awesomeness. Must try for sure 10 out of 10 on those gyro nacho fries. DO NOT MIX or STIR... I said good day!

We stopped during our trip in Wisconsin. Their Italian beef sandwiches are awesome! Tender, juicy and full of flavor. The au jus amazing. Their potato rounds are good with their seasoning of Larry's seasoned salt. I don't recommend the nacho cheese on the potato rounds. I tried a couple of my daughters and the cheese tasted funky. Very friendly and fast service. We discovered people local primarily call in and go pick it up. You can't sit down and eat in there. We ate in the car and that was fine. Very popular and very busy place. My daughter had an gyro and she loved hers. Highly recommended place to eat!

I have allways loved their food, though last tome we went after not going for a while we found there is no spot to eat at the building anymore. Also no bathroom.

They have allways been mostly good with getting the order right when handing it to you. But allways check to make sure. Last time I got somone else's order completely and we where the only ones in there waiting for our order.

As for parking the frount where the door is has normal parking while off to the side it gets weird . There is also not allot of parking but also the building is not big so if there is no parking there may not be much room for you inside.

Called ordered at 730 and call up at 838 about my order and the lady said it hasn't been an hour and it's on its way and hung up. and now it's 852pm and still no order. Very horrible service. Parking was horrible. No visible menus posted when you walk in. They had copies of their menu that sit right up by the register, and you have to kinda wait your turn to be able to see them. There is no dine-in, there are 1 or 2 benches to sit on while waiting for your "food." It was freezing inside, no heat in the ordering/waiting area, so the metal benches were extremely cold & it was freezing inside. It was a cold, snowy, wet day when I went, I'm not sure if, in the warmer seasons, if that ordering/waiting area is air conditioned, but I doubt it.
I got a half order of fries & a funnel cake. Fries had absolutely no salt, went into the trash when I got home. Funnel cakes are not an item that should be made, sealed in a paper bag, and sent out with carryout food in the first place, but I wanted to try one....disgusting! It was soggy, rubbery, and whatever batter they use is too thick & fluffy. It was like chewing on a wet sponge that had been dipped in warm, dirty, fryer oil. I could very clearly taste that the oil was dirty & they use the same oil they fry everything else in. Just gross. As soon as I got home, everything went straight into the trash can. Never again. Don't waste your time or money on this dump.

Our first time trying out Dog World. We got the Italian beef with and w/o Italian sausage and Gyro sandwich. All of them were delicious and tasty. The Au juice had good flavor, and fries were good. Chocolate shakes hit the spot! The cleanliness of the kitchen was very good and took notice of their organization. Definitely found another great spot from some good take out!

(Previous post below) I first tried Dog World on June 8, 2023, walked in ordered was told upfront 10 minutes.  I thought ok, must be busy which usually means good place to eat. Didn't  know at the time its cooked fresh to order. I tell you what it was so worth the 10 minutes, absolutely delicious. Ordered 4 Chicago Dogs. Can't wait to go again and to try a lot of the other stuff on the menu. I think it too will be great !!!!!
