Great food, great people, and a lovely atmosphere. Whether busy or not, both the bartenders and wait staff are very attentive and friendly, and the food is always incredible. Food was great, service was awful. We waited for 10 minutes at the bar before even being acknowledged. One of the bar tenders completely ignored us, while the other was very blunt and unfriendly. Also, we were having a short conversation with our friend who waitresses there when the bartender reprimanded her in front of us. The professionalism and the clear disregard for customer service by some of the staff is unacceptable.

Affordable prices, 1 out of the 2 fish fries we've tried here have been good. Second one was soggy, fries are good. Servers are nice. I ordered a chicken, bacon, ranch wrap and it was 80% lettuce, small shredded pieces of bad tasting chicken. Will try the wings and give it another chance next time.

Food was so so - onion rings for an appetizer and 1/2 came out burnt and inedible, and the cheese sticks were overñy greasy. The cucumbers on the salad looked like they had been frozen. The CBR wrap was decent. The staff were nice - changed the tv station so we could watch a different spirtibg event.

Our bartender was Joe(Joey?). He was so attentive, welcoming, kind, and helpful. Made us feel welcome and assisted us in any way he could. Explained our drink /food options and checked in often. The wings nd fries were fire as always. Overall, we felt very welcome and comfortable. Will be back. Looked for some Corned Beef & Cabbage for St. Patty's Day and Dooleys was an obvious choice being one of the only Irish Pubs around.... Bar was busy, service staff was on point and putting in the work to keep things running but something was amiss behind the scenes; soda was flat, beer had soap suds in it and the food just wasn't good... Proportions aplenty, Corned Beef was dry and jerky like, flavorless and insulting with a half of head of room temperature cabbage on the side, dry, day old potatoes complimented the meal which in general was served without the required salty marination that needs to take place to create the traditional poor man's plate we all know and love.

I understand college kids wanting to party. I hung out on Water Street when I went to college here a few decades ago. Also, Pickle Fest is fine if you'all stick to bars.

I thought Dooley's was not just a bar, but now I am unsure. It's a place non-college humans might like to go for food-but probably not anymore for me. You can have your college students, and I'll eat somewhere else. The most unfortunate thing happened. We tried to eat there on February 23rd, an unknown "holiday" to the masses-Pickle Fest. We were surrounded by many schwaaaaasted University students, who had been drinking since 9:00 that morning. Dooley's...... You need to escort screaming crazy drunk people to the door if it's only 5:00 p.m. My party could not hear each other talk. At. All. It was like Shenanigans, 1984, at 1:00 a.m.

Our server was an outstanding, positive guy, and he did his best. He told us that this was the busiest day of the year, even more so than Saint Patrick's Day.

The food came rather quickly, but it wasn't that great, and it was accompanied by a young girl screaming, "Look at me!" while putting celery sticks in her mouth like walrus teeth. Another girl was so drunk when she tried to stand up she crashed over to the floor.

Management, you could at the very least, make an attempt to ask people being crazy in the dining area to chill. Embarrassing, but necessary.

As a customer, I've seen several tables sit and customers sit at the bar and service for them takes 5-7 minutes, and the restaurant is like 1/4 full. The servers are not experienced. The bartenders, except for maybe one are not experienced. The "main" bartenders still don't even know how to make a Moscow Mule, and they have them on special, Mondays. I was at the bar and I overheard one of the servers say, I don't exactly know which ones are on special (Monday Mules). As a special on a specific day, you should know what's included in the special. The food is cheap and decent. They need to find experienced people to train others in order provide a good customer experience. The main supervisor/bar people that come in on their time off, while there's a lot of people, sit at the end of the bar and watch their employees/co-workers get slammed without stepping in to help. If you want he quickest service possible, sit at the bar.

Our server was “513 Alex” which is what our bill said. At first he was already annoyed with us that we were seating 6 people at one of the tables which we all ended up fitting in completely fine. She was also angry with us that we got drinks at the bar while waiting to be sat and came over rolling his eyes with the bills from the bar, never introducing himself or anything. I was watching how he was interacting with other tables too and it was the same super rude looks on his face and tone in voice. I have never had such a rude and attitude filled server

I was able to meet Joey when I first got here. I had called ahead to check out on specials and what time they closed. I was delighted when I got in here at the color, formations decorations, etc. memorabilia brighten up your mind make you feel good not to mention everyone here was really nice to me. Will was his sidekick. We were all talking about underwater, welding, welding sports, etc. lol I ordered the pub wrap. Wow it was amazing and delicious along with. I have never had cheese curds. To start our food wasn't warm, and the egg on my partners burger was overhard which I feel isn't generally expected on a burger with a fried egg. Not the end of the world and not something I was going to leave a review over. However, we apparently had the misfortune of sitting close enough to the owner to hear him talking about how the customer is always wrong with his buddies while they were drinking. Several bartenders and servers paid more attention to them than the rest of the normal customers. Not unheard of in the industry, but still unprofessional. And something an owner should care about 🤷‍♂️ but if you don't care about the customer I guess that's right on track.

My biggest complaint? You're gonna wish you had more money and more stomach space for this place. We always leave with seriously injured wallets because we can't decide on one food item to purchase so we each end up getting 2 things usually. Best food in Eau Claire hands down. BEST parmesan garlic wings, highway to hell wings are ACTUALLY spicy unlike Buffalo Wild wings. The variety of specialty burgers are unique and bizarre in the best ways and their simple "California burger" type burgers have something about them that doesn't make them taste simple at all. The Ville I think it's called is SO good. Please don't make me pick the best item because I can't. I promise there is something to eat here for everyone.

This was my first time at Dooleys and it was disappointing. The staff was friendly, however our server messed up both our drink and food orders. They were quick to correct both though, so that was a plus. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good. The burgers, fries, and wings were all on the cold side, but the lettuce in the salad was warm. Overall, the food needed a boost in the flavor department. So if you're looking for nice, friendly people to talk to, Dooleys might be for you, just don't expect a lot from the food.

Consistency is what dooleys lacks. I came in one day to have a nice taco salad, whoever served it to me on a Monday afternoon, it was very delicious, and the portion was perfect for the price. Now today Tuesday, I go in for another taco salad, and it’s half the size it was yesterday, the lettuce is all wilted, and the meat is still pink raw looking, even mooshy so I know it was still raw. Lets just say $11 after tax for a salad and you want to hand me what looks like a side salad? And like this? Pshhhhh…we won’t be coming back for food.

We went during the packer game... The upstairs was completely full with fans so I understand it might have been an off day. However, our experience was the same a couple weeks ago. The food seemed low quality. We started off with the macaroni bites, $8 for 8 small cheesy noodle balls. They tasted ok but not worth it for the amount you get. I tried the shrimp mango tacos. The description sounded delicious but the tortillas came stale and hard, the shrimp was tough and the homemade mango salsa was like tomato puree (no mangos..?) and hot sauce 🤢
My daughter had a burger. She didn't eat it because it was so dry and the bun was hard. The wings were just alright, the sauces were actually good. At least the bartenders can make good bloody's. The service was friendly and helpful, they took the tacos off the bill. They should revamp the recipe or completely take it off the menu.
