Stopped in for lunch about 1:00 pm. Server was super helpful. When we mentioned that we were splitting our two entrees, she brought us a 3rd plate to make things easier for us. We've been to Dooley's a few times in the past month and the service has been hit and miss. A week ago we waited 30 minutes and watched while tables seated after us were served ahead of us. They offered to pay for our meal which was super nice and much appreciated. The food has always been good and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. We will keep going back and recommend Dooley's, I'm sure they'll get the service challenges worked out.

We went in as a party of 8 asked to sit altogether and was told we were told that we would be able to sit a 2 separate booths .then asked if we could go outside and sit at a long table .it was a possibility it mite rain .so we asked for an umbrella to go over the table and was told they only do it for 4 tops. Happy Mother's Day. Best restaurant in downtown West Bend, with lots of padio seating. Blueberry Cucumber Mule was the best drink my mother ever had. I used to think food was amazing and recommended them. But ladt 2 times the food was not good. Had the fish fry and truffle fries, and they were so greasy. Especially the fish and mostly breading, worst fish fry I've ever had. Had to ask for new fries because I received small pieces. Waitress was awesome and very personable. Seems like prices are higher visits, and food needs to be more professional. I've had a stomach ache ever since lunch, and I'm not sure if I should eat my leftover. Bummer.

I'm so bad at servers' names but we've gotten the same server a few times. She has such a fantastic memory and my youngest was thrilled when she brought over her kiddie cocktail, it was an awesome personal touch. The food is always good, and the prices aren't terrible (it's not overpriced for what's around, it's just all food everywhere is going up). Dinner for two at 5:00PM on a Friday evening, sat quickly. Although prepared to order the baked fish after hearing good feedback, I ordered the salmon, lightly blackened with grilled asparagus and due to an allergy, substituted the rice pilaf for sweet potato fries (Otherwise is an optional

Dooley's in West Bend, WI, really came through for us on a casual night out. Holly had been craving some good ol' Mac and Cheese, and sometimes you want something classic and comforting rather than overcomplicated dishes. We browsed the menu and, funny enough, the kids' menu had just what she was looking for. Now, let’s be honest—sometimes kids' menu items can be hit or miss. But let me tell you, Dooley's nailed it with their Mac and Cheese. Holly was thrilled from the first bite. It had just the right amount of cheese—none of that overly thick stuff that makes it feel heavy, but not so light that it felt like it was missing something. It was smooth, gooey, and exactly what she wanted. Sometimes it's hard to get that balance, but Dooley's managed to make it perfectly indulgent without going overboard.

Now, I went for something a little heartier—the Bourbon Chicken Sandwich—and man, it did not disappoint. Chicken sandwiches can often be one of those things where you’re rolling the dice on whether it’s going to be dry or flavorless. But not at Dooley's. The chicken was grilled just right—juicy and full of flavor—and that bourbon glaze? It took things up a notch. It had that slightly sweet and smoky kick you want in a good glaze, but it wasn’t overpowering or too syrupy. It added a nice layer of flavor without masking the taste of the chicken itself, which was seasoned really well. Plus, the sandwich came on a fresh, lightly toasted bun, and it was topped with some crisp lettuce and tomato, giving it that nice contrast in texture. A few bites in, and I knew this was going to be a favorite of mine for future visits.

The service at Dooley's was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which is always appreciated. We didn't feel rushed, and they checked in on us enough to make sure we were happy without hovering. The overall vibe in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming, making it feel like a great spot for both families and anyone looking to grab a good meal without any pretension.

One thing I’d say about Dooley's is that they keep their menu simple, and that's a strong suit. They focus on comfort food done right, and it shows. Sometimes, restaurants try to do too much, but here, they stick to the essentials and execute them well. Whether you're craving a hearty sandwich, something a bit lighter, or even just looking to satisfy a Mac and Cheese craving like Holly was, Dooley's has you covered.

All in all, this place is definitely a gem in West Bend, and we’ll be coming back again soon. With great service, solid food choices, and that cozy, no-frills atmosphere, it’s the kind of place where you feel right at home, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a longer meal. It is fine. The food is always underwhelming especially for the price, and I get the feeling most of it is pre-packaged food that they just heat and serve... My kids like their cheese curds and beg us to go but I never look forward to it. I do love sitting on their patio, which is gorgeous. The staff are friendly, but service is typically *really* slow. I've had to change my order to a togo order after waiting almost an hour to get my food before. They are one of the few restaurants on main Street, so they are usually busy. They do offer a fairly wide variety of food styles which is cool, just none of them are all that great. It's fine, but if you want to be wowed, go somewhere else.

I gave the food a 3 what I had to eat was ok but I found the menu a bit limited as far as main dishes it seemed like they are trying to make bar food more upscale instead of just keeping it simple and good. Drinks are nothing special my jack on the rocks was a smallish pour at down town sized prices much better value available elseware. Rose had the wine available in 6oz or 8oz she ordered the 8oz glass in 3 glasses the pour varied from just slightly over half and nearly to the rim so I guess what you get depends on the bartender. The atmosphere is kind of dull while we were there no music was playing if there's a jukebox it's well hidden people seemed pretty subdued kind of quiet for a fairly busy bar just a couple of video games nothing much else for bar entertainment. Dooleys isn't going to be on our short list of bars much more friendly livelyer places around that have less expensive drinks and better values and a lot more fun

Dooley's is now the name of the former West bend tap and tavern. We had pork tacos and a brie bacon burger on a brioche bun. Great service as well. 2022 more great food and great service. Amy is an amazing waitress! We sat outside on the patio on a gorgeous day. The craft cocktails are excellent. Amy recommended the grilled chicken on my beet salad. It was melt in your mouth just like she said. Highly recommend for a great meal and drinks. Thank you Amy & Dooleys!

I just was in town for the day and needed something different for food then fast food. So I got the pulled pork sandwich, I found it to be a unique taste but the sauce for me was a bit spicy so I had it on the side but was a unique flavor. I got truffle fries as well that were tasty but not crispy enough for me personally but delicious dip

Beer was good, decent choices. Ordered the cheese curds, the ones that weren't burnt (about half of them) were pretty good. Got the nachos with blackened shrimp. They were average. Really wasn't much flavor, even on the blackened shrimp. Same with the truffle fries, they didn't taste much different than regular fries. Overall, the meal was ok.
