Superb little diner tucked into a Main Street space. Lots of regulars - watched the staff calling folks by name and bringing drinks as people walked in. Great vibe; homey and cheerful.

The food? Just about perfect. I’m a simple breakfast guy but love a good diner meal. Two eggs, hash browns, sausage, and toast. All perfectly cooked.

Service? Top notch. My coffee never went below half full and there was a pot hovering over it… “top you off?”

Great way to start a day of driving. If you’re in Sparta, do yourself a favor. Counter service if you’re flying solo and plenty of tables for groups.

I used to love this cozy, local Cafe. Before they changed cooks, they had good food. They still have unbeatable prices and always offer friendly service with a smile. But it's no longer a great place for all-day breakfast, as the food was nearly inedible and undercooked. I'll have to find somewhere else unless they improve their quality back to their previously high standards. The wait staff still ensure the coffee is always hot. 👌

If you are passing through, or visiting, Dorine’s is a MUST! I ate brunch here after church and what a great experience. The friendly atmosphere, even as busy at it was, Yvonne was extremely welcoming and attentive. The coffee was perfect and so was the food. Great small town feel!

This is one of my family's favorite local breakfast places. It is always hopping but the food never fails to be tasty. It doesn't matter what we order it has always been good. I would recommend the garbage hashbrowns! My only complaint is that it is a small restaurant. Parking can be a bit of a hassle due to the location.

I have never left a review for a restaurant, but I have never felt so unwelcome in one before. They were very busy, but after waiting ten minutes and the only thing said to me was a passing “hello there,” I left. It’s hard to say if it was because I was from out of town, by myself, or maybe that I’m a person of color? The group of three white people that came in after I was barely greeted were immediately addressed and the staff member went to wipe down the counter so they could be seated. The other places I visited in Sparta were friendly and I felt welcome so I don’t hold it against this town! I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were very busy, but to be barely addressed is a service issue, not a breakfast rush issue.

Sat.6/24/2023 was my very first-time having breakfast at Dorine's. The food, service, and prices are outstanding. I strongly recommend Dorine's to everyone! It's a pretty small place, They have a counter to it at and a few tables to sit at. It's kept really clean, too. They're open from 6 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. 7 days a week. I'd suggest that the earlier you get there, the better. At least during the weekends. I haven't been there during the week, so I can't speak for how busy they may be or not. I can assure you that I'll most definitely be eating there many times again.

I have breakfasted here twice. The first time, the coffee served was just awful. Worst I have had. They brought us new cups out, with a different pot, and it was better, but later they refilled with the horrible coffee again. Not quite sure if the coffee is better, as I haven't ordered it since. I have to say, after complaining about the coffee, and then seeing we didn't drink it after they filled it again, I feel like they kinda shoulda noticed it was undrank, and they ought to have followed up. I regret not bringing it up to their attention though, I should never have paid for it, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I think of Dorinnes, and I want to enjoy Dorinnes, cause let me tell u, the stuffed hash browns are just fantastic!!! I get mine without cheese sauce or American, just the shredded cheese, and yum yum yum! A hearty portion at a fair price, too. Waitstaff was mostly great both times I was there, aside from not realizing there musta been something really wrong with the one pot. Leftover cleaner in the pot 🤔?

Wow! That's all I can say about breakfast at Dorine's. I had the stuffed hash browns and my daughter had the steak and eggs. We both sampled each others breakfast. Her steak was about as tender as it gets and cooked perfectly. My stuffed hash browns with two eggs on top were AWESOME! The waitress was a doll and the atmosphere is small town friendly.
