Walk up to The Twist window and order your favorite ice cream and burger. The Twist offers a variety of deep fried favorites along with hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and walking tacos. Then take a walk through the Double Buck Cafe's thrift store and check out their unique collection of things. There are indoor restrooms and outdoor picnic tables available for dining.

Fantastic service and accommodating. We were expecting to eat at the cafe (but was closed and up for sale). However the ice cream shop was open and was able to make a grilled cheese for my grandson (the item was not on the menu). Thank you!

The Cafe was closed up so we visited the ice cream window instead. So many yummy choices and the owner was a hoot! The kids enjoyed it so much we went back three times the week we were Up North!!

This is a throwback to the old drive-in type experience. Park, order at the window, and pick up your food at the other window with picnic table and bench seating outside. I did feel the food was a bit pricey.

The perfect chocolate malt! There is no higher praise. Congratulations. However, these perfections should be served with a big straw. Luckily, I carry a few around (my wife believes I use them toward some nefarious end and throws them away... the mind boggles). Just don't pass on additional cost to your customers as your prices are already on the high end.

If your looking for hard served or soft served ice cream they have you covered here. The flavors are abundant. My favorite is the Brownie Supreme and Pirates Bounty. Most days the wait is minimal. Prices are very reasonable

I used to enjoy stopping here to eat when I go thru Laona. Today was the first time this season I was going to stop. As I pulled in I saw the prices have gone ridiculously sky high. I put my van in reverse and left. Will not be back. Your food isnt that good your burgers aren't even pure beef.

The site showed they were open until 9 pm. We were there a little past 7 pm and they were closed up. Sad as we had come from Three Lakes thinking we could get some thing to eat. And we had over an hour yet to get home. Their website needs to be updated with current times. We ended up getting some snacks from the gas station. The lady there was very friendly.

Expected to be dining in the cafe. It was closed. The only way to order is to stand in line outside and order at the window. Line moved very slowly, definitely not efficient…so we left. Probably will not return.

My husband and nephew had ordered a shake. I had order an ice coffee that was supposed to be 16oz and it was much smaller than advertise. The coffee was the most nasty coffee I had ever had. What a waste of money. I will not be going back and I will be posting it on my Facebook account.

The ice cream items and such all come in these incredibly environmentally unfriendly bowls/cups. That are made out of a styrofoam type material which doesn't get recycled. Or break down well. So they end up filling up the landfills quicker and/or in our oceans. They are also filled with chemicals, which are potential health hazards. Including chemicals used in the manufacturing processes. Their are a deal of much more environmentally friendly items and choices out there.

Simply prepared American food, mostly breakfast items and sandwiches. While very little of what is on the menu is homemade or scratch cooking (the menu is basically standardized Sysco/GFS fare), everything is prepared freshly and served hot. Prices are very reasonable. Service is friendly and attentive.
