We attended the Chefs Event with on of the sponsors, Mach1 Lending, and it was phenomenal. A very lovely space and the servers at this event went out of their way to be helpful and friendly.

Love downtown kitchen. I go here on day when I’m in the office and don’t feel like making a lunch. The food is really good and reasonably priced. Plus the wait times are usually not too long.

The food here is terrible and overpriced. Also nothing healthy besides the salad bar. At least the employees are really friendly.

Come on guys… really. This what you call a French dip? Just meat and bread? Where’s the lettuce, where’s the onions? You put things on other specials but not this? I spend a lot of money at this place I expect way better. Pizza under cooked, small portions of meat when you charge $15 for the meal, hamburgers burnt… you are not meeting expectations at all. Good service and atmosphere, bad food and portions. DO BETTER!

This is actually a review for their kitchen location at Discovery World.
It's extortionate. Overpriced, undersized, underseasoned. Definition of a food service island taking advantage of customers with their isolated location.

Again, nothing to do with their catering services or other restaurant locations.

Great little food court catering mostly to business professionals downtown. Located on the second floor of the US Bank tower. Great pizza and nacho bar. Check the specials online to see what they have.

The food is great; however, it is frustrating that they say they are open till 2 pm, but they stop serving food around 1 pm. Wish they would serve food until 2 pm - 1 o’clock is too early to close for a lunch spot.

This place is so overpriced. They have really taken advantage covid and the lack of competition so sky rocket the prices.

I work in the same building as DK so I go there often. This moring I stopped in to order toast (with avacado spread). It seems like everytime I go there I am charged something different and the younger (hispanic) ladies at the register are rude and tend to snicker instead of taking my comments serious. I had the same thing happen yesterday and when the cashier found out she was wrong she offered no apology and proceeded to refund me the $4+ I was overcharged and treated me as if I was bothering her. I am very disappointed in the service, I don't think my money is a joking matter.

Downtown Kitchen offers a variety of options including sandwiches, sushi, pizza, pasta, and tacos. There’s a bakery, a salad bar, and a grab-and-go wall as well. Located in the US Bank building, it’s a short walk from the waterfront, and there are a lot of seating options inside. Most of the stations stop serving at 2:30, though the grab-and-go is available until 4.

I check the specialties often and one of the items I absolutely loved was the shrimp poboy. On warm french bread, they put decent sized breaded fried shrimp, lettuce, tomato and a wonderful aioli. Wouldn't say it was the best poboy I had but was definitely one of the better ones and if it's ever on their specials again I won't care what my work is offer for lunch, I might just have to get that shrimp poboy and save it for dinner later.

Downtown Kitchen has a number of things going for it: hip design, great food selection to suit a variety of appetites, convenient location for US Bank and 833 E Michigan employees/visitors. I chose the soup and salad bar and it was good... although the chicken soup was a little bland. The thing is...I found the prices to be on the high side, and I live/work in Chicago so that's saying something. I don't mind paying more for better quality ingredients and the like, yet I can't say that that equation applies in the case of Downtown Kitchen. My guess is that the higher prices are more to do with a captive audience...there are few (to no) alternatives nearby, And given the colder temps lately, it's unlikely one would venture outside to save a couple bucks. Overall, not bad, and I'll probably return, just a bit surprised by the prices.

The food was pretty good considering it is more of a cafeteria style restaurant located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Good food but is self service. We are out of towners, when we went I took my mother and my two children (8 & 6). I didn't see any other kids mostly seems like it is set up to support the people working downtown in the surrounding office buildings.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The salad bar is fantastic- 25 feet long and actually fresh and clean! I think I counted 15 kinds of dressing. Also, pro tip- get a side of pulled pork and guac from the taco station and you have a serious salad. The young ladies who took my money were also super nice and helpful in my quest to find a fork. Lots of yummy, fun dessert mixes scattered around if you're looking for something sweet- plus one of those HUGE Coke Freestyle dispensers with all of the flavor options. You also can't beat the views.

Decent selections but needs more meat entrees! Mostly pastas, wraps, salads, sushi, soups, vegetable pizzas, bakery, etc. where meat is an extra add-on (if even available). I feel like it's just burgers or chicken strips (not always available) for the meat options as a main course, which is very unlike the other Bartolotta brands where they don't try to push people through as fast as possible. Normal Bartolotta restaurants offer so much more, and this is akin to the Scion of the brand that has better (Toyota), and luxury dining (Lexus-like, if you're catching my car analogy). For my rating, it comes down to value and selecrion, at an average spend of $9-11 lunches/person, i think it could be improved. Spending that price to get a half rack of Bartolotta ribs would be 5-star worthy.

Downtown Kitchen is decent, but for the vast amount of foods they offer, there definitely should be more vegan/vegetarian options that isn't just salad. Otherwise, everyone who works there is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable for it's location.

Not the usual good service and good food that I usually get at the Downtown Kitchen. Today a few colleagues and I were in a hurry and thought the Downtown Kitchen would be the best place to get a fash lunch. We arrived before the lunch rush (11:35) and submitted our orders right away. We waited over ten minutes to get burgers and all our orders were incorrect. We all paid for items (onions, cheese, pretzel bun) that we did not get and my pretzel bun (which I paid extra for) was burned. Very disappointed.
