Had lunch here. Nice place. Our server (maybe the owner) was super nice. My wife and I had paninis with orzo salad. The paninis were well toasted but not hot. But they were DELICIOUS so I didn’t mind the temperature. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in Baraboo. Recommend

We grabbed some takeout last night from draft City and it was fantastic! We came a little early to check out the tap selection which was vast and a really fun experience. The staff member we interacted with was super helpful and friendly. They had a guitarist playing in the corner and although the music was a bit loud, he was pretty amazing. I could have sat and listened to his Pink Floyd covers all day. I immediately had to put on "Time" on my way home. The food was well done, fresh and very tasty. We will be back!

Fun little place to hang out. They have a nice selection of self pour beers, mixed drinks and wines. We had lunch here and everyone was happy with their food. We liked it here so much we returned later that same evening for drinks and to hangout. There are dart boards and slot machines to help keep you entertained. The hostess was very friendly even though she made fun of me for not being able to figure out the ATM 😁. We had a lot of fun and will definitely return the next time we are in town.

We went over a holiday weekend just looking for places to go with our dog. I went inside to get our beer tab cards and let the server know that we were outside and she immediately asked if we were with a dog and if our dog wanted pets. Brooke and the other servers were so nice and accommodating and brought a water dish outside for our dog and even offered a special dog meal (chicken, rice and vegetables for $7). Our dog loved the meal and ate it all up quickly. We ordered the feta bruschetta and the bacon cheeseburger pizza on thin crust and they were both to die for. This is a wonderful place that might get overlooked by some of the bigger breweries and wineries in the area but it really is a wonderful gem of a place and worth the visit. And not to even mention the beer selection.

Recently my husband and I were visiting Baraboo all the way from Arizona. Our grandkids live there. Draft City was right down the street from our hotel. We passed it a few times and decided we needed to give it a try. So glad we did. Orlando, the chef, made us the best pizza and wings! So delicious. The hostess's name was Brooke. She was so willing to help us old geezers to figure out the self-tap pores. Lol! Anyway I had to take the time to share our review because of the food and because Brooke and Orlando were so friendly, yet professional. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

I could understand local beer and craft being more expensive, but even cheap domestic beer was 2-3x price of any bar/restaurant around. And you don't even pay anyone to serve said beer. Thanks

Standard pour house with food options which were good. Loaded baked potato soup and chili were nice. Italian panini was underwhelming and toothsome with the prosciutto. Clean interior and bathrooms, but the outdoor patio is on what used to be the parking lot and very inclined towards the building making for a somewhat awkward dining experience. Dogs are allowed and there is a kids menu, oddly without a burger option. Dog menu only in summer. That should be posted somewhere as we brought our 13 year old pooch on our trip from the city and there was nothing for her to eat, not even a grilled chicken breast or burger patty. She was only offered a slice of deli turkey. We said we would gladly pay for more but they told us they refused. Very odd.

Something had to have been wrong with their taps. We got two flights, so total of eight 1-2 oz pours. Everything tasted AWFUL. We were going to have drinks and then food, but the drinks were so bad we left.

Update: bad taps were the rose wine, whiskey cocktail, mojito, mango passionfruit seltzer, both Oktoberfests, and the dark beer that was in the same set, plus one more I can't remember. All were terrible.

Sunday visit so Packers and other NFL games were on the many TVs. Fantastic self pour options including wine, mix cocktails (bloody Mary was nice and peppery), and many beers including make your own flights. 🍺 The pinsa style, hand tossed crust is amazing! BBQ bacon ranch and spicy chicken were huge hits. 1 pizza can feed 4 adults, so plan for leftovers. 😋🍕

A great place to sample and try food. Easy to park place with plenty of spaces right on the cross section. We came here after a long day hiking based on the glowing reviews on Find Me GF. My mom has celiac and we were excited to see so many options on their menu and reviews that showed the owner has clear put a lot of thought and care into ensuring the food can be enjoyed by all. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with our server. She was rude and dismissive throughout our time. When asked if the beers/ciders/drinks were labeled GF (totally okay if they weren’t but a fair question to ask!) she said “I have no way of knowing about the beers, I just work here.” We understood and my mom just picked a cocktail instead. We wanted to add sausage to our pizza and asked if the sausage was GF. She said “it’s sausage…” and I explained that sometimes gluten can be found in meats if breadcrumbs or certain seasonings were used. She said “well we season all our food, so.” I asked if she could ask the cooks, and she said “well I’m the head chef here. I’m not cooking right now but I know more than they do so that won’t help.” It was so rude - how hard it is it to say “unfortunately I can’t confirm the meat is gluten free”? She then said “I guess I could look at the package? But we throw them out…” and was clearly annoyed. I said don’t worry about it and we hoped for the best. I pulled up the comments again to read them thinking did we go to the wrong place or something? The food was REALLY good and my mom did not get sick. I do think the owner has put thought into the menu and the kitchen is set up to reduce cross contamination. However, the server needs to be trained on how to kindly answer these questions even if the answer is no or it’s information she doesn’t have. We are used to the lack of knowledge about gluten and it’s not a big deal if we need to skip an ingredient, modify, etc. However the rudeness was really inappropriate. Great pizza and salad though - I guess your experience depends on when you go and who is working.

As someone who doesn’t drink tap beer or craft beer I was hesitant to come in, but my husband bragged up the food so I had to try it. First thing’s first, the food was delicious. We had BBQ wings and chips along with an order of the hand breaded garlic cheese curds with homemade ranch and marinara. YUM. Second, they have a selection of wines and cocktails. Great new spot in Baraboo! We stay in Baraboo when we hike Devils Lake, go skiing, and explore the dells. We swung by this place Saturday night before heading back to the hotel. Lace was so nice and friendly, explained how to use the cool tap system. I love that they have so many choices of beer, but also some cocktails and wine for the non-beer lovers. There's something for everyone here and it's fun to pour as much or as little as you like. We had eaten prior to coming here so I can't say much about the food however other customers ordering food - smelled delicious! We will definitely returning our our next trip up to Baraboo and trying the food! Oh also, they have some fun card games to play!

I've enjoyed the couple times I've been here. My only complaint, which is a big one because of what this place is supposed to be, is the price of beer! Most of the beer was at least $.70 an ounce. That's $8.40 for just a 12 oz pour or $11.20 for a 16oz! I don't know anywhere in Baraboo where you spend more money on a beer, even at the breweries that make and serve their own. Crazy expensive beer and without a bartender I just don't get the price.

5 star food, 4 star beer.  Too many unique flavored beers from less popular craft beer breweries.  I would recommend getting in some quality Wisconsin craft beers.  I did not see any Leinenkugel, Tyranena, Northwoods (Osseo), New Glarus, Potosi, Lake Louie).  Desperate upgrade needed!

Food on the other hand was 5 stars!  We had the half size of Nachos ($16, $13 on Taco Tuesday!) which come with a choice of carnitas, beef or chicken on top along with other great Nachos toppings!  The portion size was huge (see video) and I chose the carnitas (pulled pork) which was nice and lean.  My wife had the Pretzel Board which come with warm pretzels (2 kinds) and dips (Queso, Garlic Herb Cheese Spread and Stone Ground Mustard). We came here after seeing a flyer at the hotel where we were staying. The exterior is a little plain but that's the only thing plain about this place. I really liked that I could take my time choosing the beer I wanted. You pay by ounce so you can easily stand at the taps and try beers which was very cool. There are different glass sizes including flights. The food was delicious. We got some appetizers, and the amount of food for each item was a lot which I appreciated. The service was excellent. This is a fun, comfortable place to enjoy beers and a bite. The staff was exceptional, explaining how the self-pour machines work, making everyone feel welcome, and talking up the food. In fact, the food was very good. The Cuban sandwich was delicious, and my friends were pleased with the beef sandwich. This place is amazing! Love the concept, love the garnish bar, and love that I found a seltzer that I actually like. Would have loved to have filled a growler of it to go, but did a little research and found that I can get it locally. I had a lot of fun sampling, but then also mixing different things together to essential make mixers from two different beers/seltzer. The Stat of the tasting was the house-made margarita. WOW! Just amazing. Worth the price per ounce!

Firstly, the beer selection is fantastic and never disappoints but honestly, it’s the food that always has me coming back! The menu is ever changing, and not gonna lie- first time I saw the prices I was apprehensive but then you see the quantity and taste the quality! Plus, they’re 4paws friendly with the dog menu so we do little doggie dates

Not really a great selection of beers for the type of place. Pretty spendy too. The price-per-ounce for the beers was higher then I think it should be ($0.60-$0.80 per ounce). We didn't try the food. Atmosphere seemed like a cleaned up gas station.

Been camping at devils lake as a family tradition since my grandparents were little kids, found this place on TikTok and needed to try it. Definitely was worth it! Great food, service/staff and atmosphere.

We were driving through on a long haul trip with our two little ones in tow and decided to stop real quick for a bite.
At random, we pulled off to Draft City...and what a treat!

Came here on a Thursday night after a long day hiking at Devil's Lake. Staff was friendly, beer was good, food was great. First time to a pour yourself, but a great idea to try many different beers without feeling like you are bothering someone. Even had a really good dog friendly order that we took back to our tired pup. Highly recommend.

A pour your own bar with a good selection of local brews. Not very big inside, but they have a patio.

They provide you with a card that you hold up to the tap and as you pour it adds the number of Oz to the card so you can pay later. Don't lose the card.

Since you are paying per oz, you can use the small glasses to try out brews without having to pay for a full drink you might not enjoy. Fortunately, there are a ton of options, so finding a good drink is very likely.

A wonderful find in Baraboo! They have an ever changing self serve beer (and other) taps to dispense whatever amount of liquid you might want and also small tasting glasses to try them all (about 36 types). Haley up front was as helpful as can be. Manager Mike is great. We met the owner and the other staff server (apologies for forgetting names) - all very friendly. This place is so wonderful, we ate there twice in one day.

I really like this concept; a self pour brew pub. Good drinks and the food was delicious. I recommend the wild mushroom goat cheese panini. The host, Lace was attentive, informative and outgoing. I look forward to returning.

What a wonderful surprise!
Draft City combines the freedom of choosing your own beer pours with delicious food options! There is something for everyone here, including a few wine and cocktail options for non-beer drinkers, and a soda machine for your kids or DDs.
An absolute delight here in Baraboo. Will be returning every trip.

Beer review only: Great craft beer selection, really the best options in the Baraboo/Dells area. Pouring your own is a nice option to try different beers at your own pace. We’ll be back to try the new beers on tap and get some food.

Finally got back for food. It did not disappoint. Pizza and two sandwiches were great. This place is a gem.

Easy to use self-serve draft house. The staff is friendly and prompt. As a cider drinker, there weren't many options that I was immediately excited about, but the wine/beer options were varied enough that I found a few things of interest. Looking forward to trying it again after some of the current kegs have been updated.

I liked this place a lot. Super friendly service. They provided excellent information about how everything worked and how you would be charged. They had cocktails and wine on tap along with an excellent selection of rotating beers and seltzers on tap. The food was delicious too. I had the 6 taco platter with beef and pork. I could only finish 5 of them. The Pico was fresh and tasty. Overall excellent experience. I will be visiting here again in the near future.

Personalized and friendly service from Mike and Lace. Went 2 different nights and both nights were awesome!!! Food was exceptional and choosing from a wall of taps, well, hello!!! Outdoor patio seating on a Summer evening was a perfect end to our day!

should probably stick to being just a tap room. staff was friendly, and food came out fast. we didn't try the beer as we stopped to eat passing through town. place was clean as well. sadly, the food was not good. my boneless wings came out extremely soggy, no crisp, cold. barely any garlic parmesan on them. i didn't finish them. my boyfriend tried having some. I'm pretty sure they were microwaved 😔 my boyfriends wrap was drowning in sauce, it was supposed to have ranch. it had some type of oil dressing. after all that $39 for a wrap, 10 boneless wings and 2 sodas.

This is a fun place to drink beer. It's self-serve. The tappers keep track of how many ounces you drink, so you can have 2 oz. of this, 6oz. of that, or a whole glass of the good stuff. The food is good, but slightly high-priced.

Super cool venue. Had such a large selection of beers to try. And the food was amazing, with cool and innovative takes on familiar dishes. The staff were also super friendly. One of the servers brought water for my dog and another brought out a cup of chicken on the house for him to have.

My Mom and I were down in Baraboo for Mother's Day, and we found this amazing place to eat dinner. It was our first time there and it was fantastic! Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't terribly busy but the person working was extremely knowledgeable about the beer/seltzer/wine selection and very friendly and helpful. There was an awesome selection of taps and I love the pour-your-own thing (you can try as much or as little of something as you want). Tons of TVs if you want to watch a game and it sounds like there will be patio seating once it warms up. We didn't get food, but will definitely be back to try the food menu!

Unique way of service. You open a tab on your credit card, then fill your own glass at 20 or so taps. You pay by the ounce. It did bother me that when you pay at the end they want you pay an extra tip percentage on the bill. For what? It's self service. I don't get it.

It's definitely a different experience when it comes to bar. Pour your own beer, wine, and liquor. Staff hands you a card that is used to activate and keep track of how much you pour into glass/cup. You only pay for what you pour. The food was delicious and flavorful. The staff was friendly but seemed quick to dismiss you (appeared to not want to be bothered). Overall, the experience was still decent and priced accordingly. Would recommend anyone who wants to try the experience of pouring your own drinks and testing new drinks.

Super friendly staff, excellent beer selection, extremely clean establishment, all staff provided terrific service. The food was completely fantastic. We ordered chicken wings and a mushroom panini with the orzo pasta salad. All three were very above par. We're not often in the area, but this will be a guaranteed stop when traveling through.
