I take myself out for solo dinner dates once every month. This was by far my fav little night out alone. The bartenders were so nice!! Two men and one girl who also complemented me saying how pretty I was. The food was SO good. Drinks amazing as well. I wish i got the names of the people serving me but i hope they see this because yall really made my night! Highly recommend.

Our table ordered the charcuterie tower, a delicious burger, a pasta dish, and a dinner salad. Everything was excellent. Our waitress was wonderful. I did feel we were under dressed but no one made us feel out of place. (we are camping visiting family) Great place, plan to go back next visit.

This is the case of a guy that loves a good burger and just can’t say no, wishing he had. While the pictures of their burgers looked amazing, even a request to have my burger prepared rare resulted in a dried out, flavorless patty on a bun the was overly warm and just not good. Pictures don’t always tell you the whole story. This would be a perfect example.

Great food. It’s not cheap, but it’s unique and delicious. Very tasty drinks, and offers a seasonal menu for food and drinks as well that is excellent. Not something I would bring my kids to, but if they have a mature palate and you’re willing to spend the money on it, I’m sure they’d love it. One of our favorite date spots in the valley!

I had the aged ribeye and the bacon-wrapped asparagus. The food looked great when it arrived, and I was really looking forward to it, but it ended up being pretty disappointing. The steak was cooked properly, but it didn’t have any flavor. The asparagus just tasted burnt from the char.

Nothing was terrible, but for the price, I expected it to at least be good. The server was friendly, which is why I’m giving this two stars instead of one.

The only reason I gave the service 3 is because the older guy in a suit that greeted us and went to seat us made is feel as if we were an in convenience to him. He took us to a small table in the back area in the middle of the room. We asked for a different table and he made that feel like it was an unreasonable request. We asked about several tables which he told us he wouldn't be able to seat us at. 10 minutes later a waitress went to seat a different couple at the table we had asked not to sit at and they also asked for a different table. The waitress pointed out the 3 tables we had asked about and were told no. But had no problem sitting them at.So not sure why it was not a problem for her to seat this couple at those tables but it was for him. Just got everything started off on the wrong foot. The food was really good for the most part. My wife had the sirloin taco and lobster taco and I had the shrimp tacos. All of them were really good except the lobster taco. The meat in it was terrible neither of us could eat it. It tasted like old fish with no lobster flavor at all. All the other ones were really great. Also our waiter was really good. Had the service continued how it started we would have passed on the food and left to go somewhere else. Happy our waiter was much better then the older guy that sat us. I really can't get over how unpleasant he made the start of our experience. Had it not been for him, it would have been a great experience from start to finish. Will go back l, just hope we dont have to have him seat us. He really doesn't understand the concept of guest service.
The bam bam shrimp and lobster bisque was good. The shrimp tacos were really good, the sirloin taco was great. The lobster taco was terrible, extremely fishy and neither of us could eat it. My wife also had the creme brulee which she also really liked.

This is an Appleton gem. I try to sneak in a Draft visit whenever I’m in town because the food is A+ and the service is just as solid. Tried the bam bam shrimp for the first time and it is SO GOOD. It could stand alone as a small entree given the well roundedness of the dish. The server really knew the menu well when I narrowed my choice down to salmon, she steered me in the right direction.

We’ve enjoyed many meals at Draft, but this year have had two disappointing experiences. The first time, my friend ordered a steak which was very bloody. When the server finally came to check, she realized that it was definitely not medium-rare. They compensated him with a dessert that included a brown mushy strawberry.
We were there again this week and their attention to detail is severely lacking. The menu was filthy and the cocktail included a dried up withered piece of rosemary. Our meals arrived before our cutlery and the dessert also included a brown mushy strawberry. We can’t believe how far this restaurant has gone downhill so quickly.

Fantastic dining experience. The food was stunning, desert was delicious, and the vibes were very nice. Not too formal, not too casual, good first date kind of place. Not really unique per say, just not outstanding.

The toughest part of the experience was getting a table. Expect a 30-45 minute wait.

Would not recommend and will not go back. I was so disappointed the first time but thought I would give it another try. It is just plain terrible customer service from the entire staff starting with host and then also the waiters and bartender.I have never experienced anything like it, they are extremely rude from the moment you walk in and it is definitely not a fun inviting atmosphere as they advertise. The staff all act like you are a problem and really just want you to leave. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was very good we asked what kind of cheese it was our waiter said “no idea I hate cheese”. My wife and I brought an out-of-state client to Draft Gastropub on January 22nd for a nice dinner. We’ve dined here numerous times before and considered it a great choice.

Upon arrival, we checked in for our reservation, and our table was ready promptly. However, when the young male host with long hair asked if a high-top table was acceptable, I inquired if any booths were available. His response—laughing and saying, ‘We don’t have booths here; this is a fine dining establishment’—was unprofessional and set a negative tone for the evening. We were then seated at a high-top table with no other options offered.

As frequent patrons of fine dining establishments across the country, my wife and I have never been laughed at for asking a simple question. Whether or not high-top tables are standard here, the dismissive attitude was disappointing and frustrating.

Despite the initial experience, the food and service were excellent. The general manager was attentive and ensured guests were satisfied, which we appreciated. However, as a business owner myself, I understand the importance of first impressions. The interaction with the host left us feeling unwelcome, and unfortunately, it overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable meal.

Regrettably, we will not be returning due to this experience. I sincerely hope the owners reconsider their choice of frontline staff, as the host is the first point of contact and sets the tone for the entire dining experience.

We were politely greeted at the podium and told it would be a 45-60 minute wait which we accepted. It was great to be seated about 10 minutes earlier than that window. While waiting, we got a drink at the bar which was delicious and the service was fantastic! Kudos to the bar staff and podium staff.

Once seated, that’s when things became less enjoyable. The server didn’t seem confident in what he was doing. He was rushing through telling us the specials and taking our order but then once he took our order, we didn’t see him again for a while. My food came first, then my husbands about 5 minutes later. Let me tell you a short story:
Five years ago my husband and I came here by accident because another place was closed. After eating here, my husband said he had the best burger he’s ever had in his life (Whiskey BBQ Bacon Burger).

Five years had gone by and he’s brought up this burger in any social setting involving burgers to anyone who would listen. So we flew two hours, from Des Moines, IA, to Appleton, WI just so my husband could order this burger again.

Well five years later and this restaurant still serves the best burger he’s ever eaten. I ordered the French Dip sandwich and Lobster Bisque soup and I can proudly say both were the best I have ever ate.

Hats off to the atmosphere and such friendly staff as well. We may live in an entirely different state, but this is our favorite restaurant for sure!

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday last night and our service was great! While it did take a few minutes for our waitress to initially come over, I will say the place was absolutely packed and not only was she serving all the tables in the bar area, it also looked like she was making her own drinks.
Unfortunately, I can’t remember our waitress's name, but I just want to give her a shout out because it takes a lot to work in the service industry now days and she definitely has the personality for it! She was personable while still being professional and checked on us several times throughout our dining experience and never made us feel rushed despite how busy it was. The presentation was very nice. The blackened grouper with shrimp and grits was good. The two shrimp on top were especially flavorful. The grits “patty” was decent. Yet, after three bites, I might have preferred the traditional soft grits. The blackened grouper tacos were flavorful & very good. Each person at the table kept asking for another bite of that dish. The bourbon salmon was nicely done. The vegetables were VERY crunchy (almost to the point that the person with this dish wondered if they were cooked at all) but the flavor of the sauce made the overall dish fine.

Nice. (Except for the glued-on cabinet handle in the bathroom) Cushioned enough that the people at our table didn’t need to speak loudly to each other to be heard. I appreciate that the music was not overwhelming. We had to be seated at a highboy because nothing else was available (regular height must have been for those with reservations)

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Draft. The managers, chef, and servers all did an amazing job with the set up and service. All meal for over 30 people were cooked to perfection and the drinks were outstanding. We were so appreciative of everyone for making the night special.

Great experience. Had the pot stickers which were very tasty. For my main I had the pad thai- it was far from traditional and terribly saucy. I could appreciate it for what it was, though. Think of if Olive Garden tried doing pad thai.

Absolutely fantastic dinner restaurant! It's perfect for dinner out with the family, date night, or just grabbing drinks and food with friends. Excellent menu with a variety of food options. I've ate dinner here several times and everything I've ordered were very tasty. Friendly and informative staff.

I’ve been here a couple times for work meetings. The atmosphere and service is always great but the food the last couple times was very bland. I got the pesto chicken sandwich the last time and it had zero flavor.
