This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by significant service issues. We understand that staffing can be challenging, but the lack of attention we received was disappointing.
After being seated, we waited for 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Eventually, my partner had to get up to retrieve menus. It took 40min for our two pizzas to arrive, which was an unexpectedly long wait time. Furthermore, at the end of our meal, we had to go up to the counter to grab boxes ourselves and settle the check.
While we acknowledge the difficulties that restaurants may face with staffing, the lack of service and attention to customers impacted our overall dining experience negatively. The food itself was decent, but the poor service overshadowed our meal.

Went here before the fair one night as we heard it was highly recommended. Very friendly staff. We got a couple of pizzas, but the pizza sauce just tasted like SpaghettiOs and made it very underwhelming. If you enjoy the taste of SpaghettiOs, you'll enjoy it. In town working asked for the best pizza in town Drag's was recommended we already had it on the radar so we went. Quaint older Italian restaurant servers polite and attentive. I knew from the smell of the food walking from the car we had made the right choice.

Awful experience. Arrived at 5:15pm, ordered food at 5:20. Received a salad and cup of soup at 6:25... an hour and 5 minutes later. This was followed up by them telling us they were going to "send you on your way" at 6:52, as they had yet to put the steak on the grill 92 minutes after ordering. The Roman lounge hasn't changed in 45 years! The food and service were incredible. The Brandy Old fashioneds were excellent, but the Brandy Alexander was the best and by far the biggest I've ever had. We ate there two nights in a row 😎

IF YOUR NOT A LOCAL, DON'T BOTHER! We stopped in at about 6:45 last night. We walked in and someone said from the back, "just take a table anywhere". We sat down directly next to the kitchen in the first booth. There were two servers working. The one walked past our booth probably 8 times and the other probably 12. She waited on the table directly across from us and the table directly behind us. I assume it was her section. No "hi", no "I'll be right with you", no menus, no drink orders, nothing. In fact she seemed to be looking the other way when she passed our table. And by walking past, she was about 6" from the end of our table. Another set of customers came after about 5 minutes after us. We were at 15 minute waiting with no waitress interaction what-so-ever. Mind you BOTH servers walked past our table at several times at this point. When the 3rd table walked in, the waitress flew over to their table instantly. She gave them menus and took drink orders, before us or the other table that had walked in. We gave it a few more minutes (until the server spilled water on the people in the table behind us, walked past our table 4 more times and didn't say a peep to us. My wife said we'll give it until 7:05. So, finally we left, with no server even speaking to us. It smelled really good (my reason for giving the atmosphere a 3 star rating) By the other reviews, if you're a local you probably have a chance to get waited on. If you're not a local don't bother.

It has been 30 years since I last darkened their doors and I'll be over 100 years old before I darken those doors again. When I walked in they had a hand made sign stating that they were short staffed and a bit slow. They did not lie when it came to being slow. I was told I could sit anywhere and the boy at the register pointed out a two person table. I went and sat down and watched their waitresses walk by me 20 times. No one stopped to take my order. Finally a lady at a nearby table asked me if they took my order. I told her no and she jumped up and told them to take my order. They brought me a beer and a menu and said they would be right back. Another 20 minutes went by and the excuse was the girl didn't notice the notice. Finally I was able to order spaghetti and meatballs which comes with soup or salad and garlic bread. As I sat there, the young man at the register asked me if I was waiting for someone. I so wanted to tell him I was waiting for a bus! Again it took 20 minutes to bring the salad. The beer was long gone, the salad was done, and there I sat for another 20 minutes. Finally I was served the entre'e. I looked at it and wondered to myself why they even bothered to say it was a platter of spaghetti. The meatballs tasted OK but the time it took to bring me my meal had my stomach churning. The spaghetti was a handful covered by an inch thick layer of sauce with 3 or 4 bay leafs which I nearly choked on. The "garlic bread" was nothing but white bread sprinkled with garlic dust and butter. And yes, they did not drain the spaghetti very well.
I couldn't wait to get my receipt and get out of there. They offered me a complementary sundae and I told the waitress that there wasn't enough time in the day. I left no tip. And I do not recommend this establishment if you are in a hurry or desiring spaghetti.

My first visit was a month ago. The food was sub-par. The pasta wasn't drained so there was a pool of water in the bottom of the dish. And the ravioli was overcooked on the outside, but still cold in the middle. Just... how? Every kitchen has a bad day, so I decided to give them a second chance. My second visit was marginally better. Still water in the bottom of the dish, but the flavor was good. My fiance had the manicotti but it had absolutely no flavor and it was covered in so much cheese that it could be considered too much and it over powered the rest of the dish.

This was the first time eating there in a few years due to the fact that I live on the West Coast. Don't get me wrong, it's still my favorite pizza in the U.S., but it seemed a little different this time. There was way too much sauce on it. Oddly enough, there's a line item on the menu where there is an additional charge for extra sauce. Also, the Hamburger topping was bland as if some of the seasoning I remember was left out. Overall, it seemed like it had more cheese than in the past and I managed to eat it without getting a blister behind my front teeth, which was a first for me.

Been eating at Drags for over 15 years and tried their pizza for the first time this trip. I was disappointed in the pizza. Crust was overdone to where it changed the flavor to almost burnt. I like all the other menu items much better. Bear Tracks in Birchwood has a better thin crust pizza, never burnt loads of toppings for much less. Will be back but not for pizza. Definently not a 1959 pizza last Saturday night. Server did a great job and the wait was reasonable. Nice clean establishment.

Drag's has always been our family's special dinner spot. Best pizza EVER! I decided to go with a few girlfriends for my birthday. Bad decision. The bartender, which I later found out is the owner, was a completely rude, disrespectful bartender. I was dressed pretty classy and received nothing but very noticeable, disrespect and judgement. I'm not even exaggerating when I say she basically threw my pizza at me across the bar. I will never be back and believe me when I say, I will be spreading the word about the extremely horrible service that Drag's gives out.

I had not been to drags in a couple of years and my friend and I decided to check it out. It used to have excellent food all kinds of Italian stuff nothing tasted bad. But my experience the other night was the opposite. That spaghetti which I normally love was not even close to tasting good I don't know if they changed the sauce or what happened but my meal was not good the only thing that was good was the garlic bread. And my friend had something else with the meat sauce the red sauce and he also said it did not taste good. Oh also the salads were excellent. And the service was awesome

Food was burnt, French fries looked they were cooked to long and fried in old oil. My Italian sausage sandwich was burnt. My daughters chicken strips were cooked to long. Only good thing about our meal was the coleslaw. It used to be a nice place to go. But they really need a new cook/chef. I have cooked for 2000 people a day 3 times a day and cooked at little restaurants and never had a complaint about my cooking. I know how properly cooked food and properly seasoned food is supposed to taste. That food was disgusting. Hope they can turn around or it will be a shame to see a good place close up because of poor food.
