We had an amazing dinner at driftless! The food was delicious, the drinks were enjoyable, and the staff was friendly and amazing. The quality of food they use is top notch. Our two year old enjoyed the smoked onion dip to use with his French fries. He highly recommends that’s as an appetizer. We will be back again for a wonderful dinner.

Amazing service and amazing food. The owners came by to check on how everything was. They made us feel like family. A loving family, not one you have generational trauma from. Would highly recommend.

We went to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Food overall was good. Drinks are excellent.
service was really good.We were sat early for our reservation, Waitress arrived with water and drink menus immediatly,Got drinks fast and she spaced out the appetizer ans meal perfectly.
I had the 10 oz strip steak and hash browns .Hash browns were huge with cheese and onions
my wife ordered the scallops at market price.
Should have checked price when we ordered because it turned out to be 12 .00 per scallop!,Order was 5 good size scallops ,with rice pilaf which was large and very good for
68.00! My wife enjoyed them but she said she's had better.
My steak was cooked to the proper medium rare, but was kind of fatty and gristle.
could have trimmed it better and called it a 6 ounce steak.
Fried calamari was good.
they comped us a bowl of ice cream with creme de menthe.
Seeing the other dinners around us,the walleye looked outstanding, and I'd do the filet and shrimp combo next time.
Overall a positive experience,
We NEVER spend 170.00 for dinner but was our anniversary.
Pluses Bourbon old fashioned were strong and tasty
wife's Bees Knees martini was good too.
don't have 4 drinks,and bill would be 45.00 less.
will go back and try different
meals.

I’m actively eating my dinner here and this may be the best Walleye I’ve ever had. Also, don’t miss the crab cakes! The food is too good.

I’d love to see one of these in Verona.

Had a great James Bond Martini.
My guest enjoyed a traditional Walleye dinner with hash browns. And they even topped it off afterwards with a grasshopper ice cream.

After a ridiculously hot and humid walk a friend of mine and I stopped in at driftless Social for the first time. Love the atmosphere with the exposed stoned on one wall. When the place was about a third full it was quite loud. There was a mix up with the first round of drinks, we eventually got that sorted out. We had the smoked trout dip, it was good and the buttered garlic bread was delicious. There was another miscommunication regarding my beer, I had been given another one though I hadn't asked for one... I understand how the miscommunication could have happened. We did not have an entree, but the menu was varied. I don't make it to Mount Horeb often, but I believe Driftless Social will be an option in the future.

We loved our first experience here. We had fabulous drinks at the bar before moving to a table for dinner. Service at both was fantastic. And the food was nothing short of outstanding of the world good. We definitely recommend and will go back.

I just would like to start by saying that I’ve never written a restaurant review in my life. This will be my exception. The service here was truly awful. We were sat early for our dinner reservation at 630 and waited probably a good 25 mins to even see a server for a cocktail. When we finally did see someone we ordered drinks and appetizers. Another 15 mins later when our drinks came she asked us if we wanted to order dinner? So we did. After finishing that drink (maybe 20mins) she asked us if we wanted another round before our food came. So we ordered another round. Those drinks came out in a reasonable time. Then our food came another 20 minutes, No appetizers. 3 of the 4 of us had the new York strip. 2 medium rare and 1 medium. Mine was medium well (ordered medium rare) and all gristle! And the other medium rare was well done! We got about half way through our meal before she asked how everything was and if we needed anything 😂. I told her that mine was awful and she said that she would send the owner over. So we waited another 10 mins for that and he came to our table wearing a ball cap and smacked his mint gum in my ear the whole time I was explaining what happened. He didn’t really seem to care what I had to say 😂 so here I am! Overall one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I came hungry and left that way. Very disappointed after hearing such wonderful things about this place. I’ll be back when it’s no longer the Driftless Social.

I really enjoyed this place. Food was great. We had the crab cakes which were super little/thin but tasted great! COSMO was super good. I had the fried walleye with hashbrowns, and my SO had the ribeye which was done perfectly. Cons were that it was super loud inside. I also didnt.know that they had high and low top.tables. Brody, the host was Super nice to us! We also saw that people.ordered salad but we didn't see it.on the menu? Is this something we could have ordered instead of a different side?? OMGosh, I have to say that we really enjoyed all. Thank you and we will return!

In our party of four, we tried the crab cakes, the fried calamari, the ribeye and the filet, the breaded shrimp, and the pork chop special. We absolutely loved the crab cakes and the calamari to start, and we were most excited about the filet and the pork chop for the entrees. That said, nobody was disappointed with their food, everything (even the sides!) was really delicious. The staff were so friendly, and great about everything we needed.

We chose Driftless Social for the long-anticipated "settling of the football wagers dinner," and it did not disappoint -- and not only because I was eating and drinking for free 🤣
First, my only critique of the place -- it's a little crowded. But they're working with the space they have.
Bourbon Sidecar martini was excellent, as were the smoked onion dip and smoked salmon dip apps.
Two of us had the bleu cheese-crusted filet & shrimp combo, both with hash browns for a side. Steak was good, shrimp (I chose coconut shrimp) and hash browns were excellent. A side note: the owners are descendants of the Smoky's family, so the hash browns (and onion rings, which we didn't try) are Smoky's recipe.
The third had the seared scallops, which he said were excellent, with a side of seasonal veggies (😒).
The only dessert option was Peach Cobbler cheesecake. Could've been a tad peachier, but it was very good. One of our group opted for a Golden Cadillac ice cream drink instead, and he said it was very good.
Overall, Driftless Social is a must-try.
Can't wait to make (win) next season's football bets!

First time in and the brunch was great! Our table had biscuits and gravy (maybe some of the best gravy I’ve ever had), walleye and eggs (breading was really good), tenderloin tips and eggs, crab benedict.
Service was attentive and genuinely friendly.
Excited to come back for a date night dinner!

Service was ok. They forgot our appetizer and my water was empty a lot. Food was mid supper club quality. Prices were pretty good. The decor and atmosphere was great. Lively and not too noisy. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. My wife and I were glad we tried it but we have a long list of places to try so we won't be frequenting this one again soon.

My wife and I stopped in for a cocktail after dinner at another local establishment Saturday night. Not only was the service and atmosphere top shelf, so were the drinks! First time at Driftless Social. Good vibe and friendly staff. The Walleye with hashbrown blew me away. Large portion of Walleye and hashbrowns that I couldn't finish. That rarely happens. No complaints on the drinks either. They make a solid old fashioned too. We will be coming back to explore the rest of their menu.

Another dinner & drinks tonight. The New York Strip was excellent, had to try a side of Rice Pelof, amazing. and once again Allison's grass hopper is the best I've ever had. Not easy when the bar is set so high from the first few times we've been there to follow it up, but they do everytime...

We went in for an early dinner at 5pm. Called ahead as there was no info about needing reservations. Was glad I called as there were no available tables before 7 except at 5. There was no information online about needing a reservation...so a website would have been helpful. We had martinis to start which were very good and two entrees. Filet mingnon and sauteed mushrooms and coconut shrimp wiith green beans on the side. The steak was subpar the cut was thin and was as over done.I ordered medium rare and overall it really lacked seasoning! And needed salt! Really was dissapointed there.
The shrimp however were very good, cooked perfectly, came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce which I felt was overpowering and unnecessary but still good.
2nd entree was the smashburger with hasbrown side. The hasbrown also lacked seasoning and needed salt. The burger was nice and juicy and was worth the $15.
Service was great. The decor was confusing...tiki bar meets art deco with gambling machines.?..not sure what vibe they are going for ...but the crowed seemed pleased. I would go back for martinis and the shrimp.

This place is clearly a favorite among its patrons. The place was packed and noisy, and I’m glad I had made reservations. I ordered medium rare filet mignon and sautéed shrimp with hash browns on the side. The hash browns were outstanding. The steak was tough and dry. The shrimp was plump but bland and cold. Pretty disappointing for a $50 meal.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Wish drink prices were listed. All drinks are martinis but they can make other drinks as well. Food menu is new and small. Hopefully in time they offer more. Calamari was good though a little salty and on the small side for the price. Would definitely come back when in town and if menu is expanded.

We had dinner here for the first time last night and it was fantastic! Our martinis were great - the Negroni and Sazerac. Our food was wonderful - we had the curds for an appetizer, I had the shrimp and filet, and my husband had the ribeye. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The service was great from start to finish - a warm and friendly greeting from Matt on arrival and a wonderful server (Jennifer) who took care of us throughout dinner. Thanks for sticking to your plan to bring another great dinner spot to MH - love that you guys are here and so happy to see it packed last night!

What a great spot! Nice cocktails, friendly staff, and their new food menu is wonderful. Our group tried the smash burger, shrimp dinner, chicken thighs, shrimp cocktail, onion rings and hash browns. Everything was a generous portion, well seasoned, and the shrimp are huge! The hash browns took me right back to Smoky’s Club, a great homage to the supper club that the owners’ grandparents owned. Mount Horeb is lucky to have this spot…maybe we can get a second location on Lake Wisconsin?!

I had been there before for drinks and they make very good cocktails but had been waiting patiently for their food service. They recently got that started so my wife and I tried it out. Food was great. I got the filet mignon and shrimp and my wife got the scallops. There were 5 good sized scallops on her plate which was nice. At other establishments it seems like one can expect 3, maybe 4. Their atmosphere is nice as well now that they have proper seating tables. I was curious how they'd handle the transition from crowded, loud, largely standing room only to a proper sit down restaurant and it seems like they've committed and will execute well on that sit down experience. I'm so glad they're finally up and running in Mt Horeb.

We are frequent visitors to Driftless Social in Mount Horeb, and it never disappoints. This place is outstanding for its exceptional cocktail crafting. They truly create the best cocktails around, blending skill and creativity in every glass.
But what makes Driftless Social more remarkable is the warmth and professionalism of their staff. The team here is not just friendly; they make you feel at home. Their service is attentive and genuine, making each visit memorable.
Recently, I had the chance to try their new food offerings, and it was a delightful surprise. The quality of their dishes matches their high cocktail standards, making it a complete culinary treat. Whether you're a regular like me or just dropping by, Driftless Social is a must-visit for anyone in Mount Horeb seeking a great place for drinks and food. Highly recommend!

This fun little night spot has popped up in Mt. Horeb and has quickly become a Saturday night final stop for us. Seating feels a bit weirdly cramped (certain areas feel uninhabited, but the bar is tight and can feel very uncomfortable if you want to spread out) but the atmosphere is wonderful, the drinks are perfect for what I'm looking for late on a Saturday night, and there's always popcorn in the corner to settle down with. A great option in an area that has been lacking after hours.
