My waitress was wonderful! Prompt, very understanding and very tolerant of me taking her booth for an hour! I left her a worthy tip, and thoroughly enjoyed the avacado toast with egg and tomato. Clean, beautiful environment. I choose the -1 star for the lack of situational awareness in the choice of music played for a public audience. That being said, they do an excellent choice of capturing their demographic. I will continue to patronize and recommend this business!

Wonderful home style atmosphere. HUGE meal portions! Be prepared to take home or ask for a 1/2 order. Easy to have a conversation without much noise. My server, Emily, was top notch but all the other staff was very friendly as well, smiling and helping each other.

I think the only redeeming quality about this place is that I don't think they have much control over the taste of Pepsi. Then again, it still tasted off. I genuinely believe that the food here could be considered as borderline assault. If I had the ability to not even give this place any stars, I would. I feel depressed after having that touch my tastebuds. That was impressively terrible. I wish I could say the service was good but the side eye looks I got from the waitresses cause me to say otherwise.

WE LOVE THE EAGLES NEST!!! It's our go to place. It's super clean. Great menu and portions are HUGE. Prices are reasonable. Most of all, we go there for the staff. Everyone is always very friendly and attentive. I love that the staff and owners know many patrons by name and they chat with them about their lives. So many times we've watched the staff run to get the door for older patrons. It's such a nice honey, welcoming place to go. Our favorite by far.

The food was really good, and the server we had was super awesome. Wish I would've got her name. The only thing that bugged me was that you had to pay extra for sides like potatoes and the meat. When I think that should come with the meal as it does at other restaurants I've been to. Just for myself it was already over $17 and getting potatoes would've brought it over $20. But besides that everything was super good. Try them out if you haven't been there, I know I'll be back.

This is a nice little dinner, if you're looking for some dinner food, I had one of there melts, it was OK but it seemed to me the bacon was a bit overcooked in it and it kinda took away from the overall flavor of it all, so it was OK but not quite what I was hoping for, there soup was good though, as for what my companions had they said the same that there food was OK buy just seemed to lack a little but it could of just been the day we whent, otherwise service was good and it's a nice little Cafe type restaurant to check out and I hear most come here for there potato pancakes which maybe next time I'll try if I stop again.

Food was Ok, but generally it was what you would expect of a diner. I left feeling ill. I think it was the iced tea because I had the same thing my wife had except for the tea. It was like colored water, no flavor. Chicken strips are not what I expected. The breading fell off while eating it . Had mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was ok, except for wondering how long it's been sitting around and reheated.

I am removing my bad review of this business I have eaten there multiple times in the past I had one bad experience where I waited forever to get two eggs and a toast however today I went back and everything was back to normal the food was excellent the staff was great and everything was timely and organized and I really appreciate how understanding my waitress was today when I explained my past experience. Stopped in for a milkshake, and received a warm family feeling along with service that felt like my aunt bringing me a beer while sitting on the couch watching football with my family only it was a waitress bringing me a very tasty shake, followed up by the owner asking me if everything met my expectations to which I replied" yes and beyond, thank you so much for the hospitality". Then he welcomed us back. I will certainly return! That warm family feeling is worth its weight in gold and if your not careful you could lose most of your afternoon kicking the Bobo with the usuals.

Took my brother-in-law to the Eagle's Nest for lunch on his recommendation. It is an average diner atmosphere family restaurant where everybody is welcome.
On a whim I ordered the Hot Roast Beef. If you are a lumberjack looking for a hearty meal, you wouldn't be disappointed. It was served on two pieces of Texas-toast and covered with a thick dark, dark brown gravy with a mound of mashed potatoes as large as a softball. Needless to say, I left half of it on the plate. Flavors were okay and the beef was shredded and very tender.
Our service was weak with our waitress appearing to be quite eager to visit with other members of the staff.
If you're looking for hearty fare in a diner setting, this family restaurant will certainly fill your needs.

My kids got breakfast. Burnt scrambled eggs and a pancake so thin and tough we needed a knife to cut it. I got a club which took so long to receive, everyone was almost done with their food. It had nasty utility cheese and ham topped with uncooked bacon. I've had gas station food better than this.

We waited for a long time to be put on the list for service, when she finally showed up she started at the end which put 2 tables in front of us. Took 45 minutes for our food. Food tasted horrible . Waitress was nowhere while we waited. The guy who was seated after us got up and left. We had a bad experience the only other time we ate there too. If you are looking to be frustrated and underwhelmed then this is the place for you. Took my wife here for breakfast. Waited an hour to receive our food. It simply never came. Other people who sat down after us ate and left. We were told by management they can not control when the food comes out of the kitchen. Well good luck with that and god bless. Good home cooking dining experience. The staff has always been very friendly, old-time dining counter seating, booths, and tables. Love breakfast here. Good menu selection of standard family, home cooking restaurant faves. One thing to note, they are a cash only restaurant. They have an ATM on site, but no cards or checks are accepted. Be prepared if you operate outside of cash like we do. We were almost caught without a means of payment!

New to the area and wanted to try a local diner in hopes of making it our new go-to place. We were sorely disappointed. We sat for 40 minutes after being served drinks and having our order taken. There was just my husband and I and we ordered a simple meal of eggs and sausage, nothing complex or time consuming to make. However, everyone else around came after us and was served before us. When our food finally came after I brought it to the waitress’ attention, it was the wrong order. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave. When we asked to speak to management about our experience, the owner was conveniently not available and so another staff member came out. She apologized for our experience, told us they were busy, and that they had no control over who got their orders placed first. No I would not recommend this experience to anyone.
