I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. Asian fusion places can be a hit or miss for me but I found the dishes very tasty. Many flavors were still authentic and they have a nice selection of cocktails. Good and warm atmosphere with very kind staff!

Wow! Just wow!!! I was blown away at how laid back the atmosphere was inside, and I was really surprised at how simple the entire experience was to access amazing dishes that are such a beautiful addition to the Brady Street experience; the menu is simple, the kitchen is serious, and the overall product is refreshing and derives from a nontraditional approach of creating Asian gastro-bar cuisine, and far away from the traditional dive-bar experience. Easy Tyger is a bar at heart, and they offer fantastic cocktails [Lemongrass] and a surprisingly impressive wine list - wine flights are also available. A gastro-bar experience is another perfect way to spend your time on Brady Street, and you can expect a casual atmosphere, clean, and with a very charismatic bar setting, which encourages great socializing moments. The bar is great, and the performance of the bartender making your cocktails is a delight to watch! This is a great opportunity for meeting up with friends, casual dates, lunch dates, and casual bar seating. The service is top notch, and the serving staff is very talented. However, the cooking staff also offers their talents in creating nontraditional ramen dishes, flavorful brussel sprout appetizers, and bao buns. Furthermore, this gastro-bar delivers a unique bar experience because the bar is a small part of the overall area, which creates a more intimate opportunity to talk and gossip. The bar is also a great opportunity to start your night on Brady Street, and you will find yourself drinking martinis or wine and eating flavorful apps in no time! Easy Tyger has a great reputation, and their ability to deliver a superior product is a blessing to the Brady Street neighborhood.

The food is great, a simple straightforward menu that has a decent amount of options to choose from but isn't overwhelming. I wouldn't say it's authentic, definitely more Asian fusion, but they don't skimp on the flavor. They have pretty good vegetarian options.
Their fried brussels sprouts appetizer and spicy miso ramen is a must have!
Service was pretty average - nothing exceptional.

So I was the "lucky" family member with a food allergy that got to go to this place when an out of town brother picked it for a family outing. I was beyond pleasantly surprised by their graciousness and accommodation, they made an entree safe for me to eat. Much appreciated and so much better than sitting there awkwardly watching everyone else eat.

First time here and it definitely won’t be my last. The ambiance was very welcoming as soon as we walked in. Michelle was very professional and attentive. Drinks were good and strong. The food was real great and tasty. Definitely recommend this place for ramen lovers.

Stopped by here after a long day of work for dinner. I've been trying out a lot of ramen shops in the area. I will say that this place has the best pork. A little crispy but not too overpowering. And melts like butter in mouth. Yum. The broth was okay. On the bland side. Asked for some hot sauce and it barely added any spice. Egg was still cold on the inside. The ramen also had too much scallions/green onions. It overpowered the broth and made my guest no longer want to finish her bowl. I was reaching my threshold for onion tolerance as well.

The pork bao bun was very good. I'm definitely coming back there for that.

The decor and atmosphere was nice and cozy. They got a little bar set up and comfortable seats.

Service was okay. Could tell the server didn't like us by the stark contrast of how we were treated and compared to other guests.

Overall, I'd put this on your to try list. The place is a bit pricey. Everything in the two pics below was about $70 including tip. Save it for a special occasion. Or just stop by for a quick bao bun.

Fun take on ramen! Excellent texture for the ramen noodles. Not too soft, not too hard. Toppings were super fun and the spice bomb was delicious! The Brussel sprouts appetizer was excellent and the hot sake was delicious! We will definitely be back.

The good: one of the best ramen dishes I’ve had in Milwaukee. Overall, the food was phenomenal. Great pork belly and brisket bao buns for a reasonable price.

The bad: the service. Our group was at dinner for an hour and a half. It took about 10 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge our table. After we got our food, we never saw the waitress again. We were never even given a refill of waters, and we were waiting for our server to come around for another round of drinks, but it never happened. When it was all said and done, a different server dropped off our check without even saying anything.

Me and my friend came this past Saturday. The food wasn’t all that and the service was slow. I paid $18 for something that wasn’t worth the price. I really wanted to like this place but I don’t think I’m coming back here.

First time here. Had reservations for 6:30 on Saturday and got right in. They were busy but not packed. It's a nice space. Plenty of room, interesting decor, and the noise level was not too bad.

Took a little while to get our waters, drinks, and place our order. Ordered a hot tea and a cocktail, and both were good. We ordered a couple bowls of the Ramen, which both came out hot, flavorful and good portions. My Tonkotsu was good, with the exception of it being overly salted. Towards the end of the bowl, with just the noodles and broth, it was hard to finish.

After our food came, our server never showed back up until the check, so no opportunity for any more hot water for the tea.

It was a good, but not great meal. It did not make it on the "come back again" list.

First time here for my birthday dinner with friends. I honestly thought the food was okay. I was slightly disappointed in my meal as I only had a few pieces of meat compared to the larger portion of my rice. I definitely had left over rice on the plate. I did enjoyed the appetizers a bit more than the actual meal. Me and my friends shared a plate of the okonomiyaki fries, rangoons, and pork dumplings

Food: The broth was creamy, thick, umami and the noodles has the right bouncy chew. I love the choice of marinated egg. I prefer more runny, but very flavorful. Have to try to sous vide one next time! The char siu had the charred taste and it didn't wash out in the broth. Spot on! The kid menu has actual ramen as a choice and it is the 1st I've seen. I love that kids don't have to choose chicken tenders or Mac and cheese. Tried Thai tea, had tea and bitterness flavor instead of the typically over sweet wannabe so that is great!

Service : it was a week night and our hostess was also our server. She was magnificent! Attentive, knew the menu. Was attending to all her tables no matter how busy it got.

Atmosphere: Had very east side, trendy but chill. The summer sun light gave it a great lighting ambience. Could definitely get loud, but it was a Tuesday night, so was chill. It was mom and kid, but also table of older adults out for dinner, and also table of college age kids exploring ramen.

A fair place to get ramen. lots of great tasting ingredients but as a whole wasn't my favorite. I'll definitely be back to try other stuff and maybe I'll change my opinion. My favorite part was the broth and eggs. I tried both styles of eggs and they were perfect. The broth had a really good pork flavor but the noodles just didn't carry the flavor like I wanted them to. The crab rangoons were ok, I personally wouldn't order them again. The dumplings were absolutely amazing! I could have done 2 orders of them. The atmosphere was fine, quiet and relaxing. The service was fair nothing over the top.

Took my son's here for ramen. We all at first liked our food, but towards the end of our meal. One of my son's tonkatsu got very fishy and salty compared to my other son's bowl of tonkatsu. We believe it was the nori that was left in the bowl until the end that did that. So not a big deal. So we left and by the time we were driving one of my sons and myself started to feel slightly nauseous. Once we got home my oldest son threw-up his food. So I don't know what it was but I know my son does not normally have a weak stomach.

That being said this place was highly recommended by my siblings saying only good things.

Easy Tyger, a cozy ramen spot on Brady Street, promises a flavorful experience through Japan's iconic dish—quite possibly the best to be found in Milwaukee. The tonkatsu ramen was flavorful with its perfectly textured noodles, soft-boiled egg, and tender pork belly. But a tad more attention to the broth could elevate the experience by adding more robust flavors expected in a classic ramen bowl. Additionally, the abundance of seaweed may overwhelm some palates. Despite this, Easy Tyger's warm atmosphere and authentic flavors make it a destination worth revisiting for a ramen rendezvous in this vibrant and eclectic neighborhood.

Atmosphere is very unique. Staff is friendly and helpful. Visited for dinner. Ordered the coconut shrimp. Was very good with sauce provided. Also ordered the French fries. Loved how they made it with the sauce. Very crispy till the end. Had the Banh Mi. Unfortunately this was where I had to drop a star. Meat and filling was great. However, the bread roll was not baguette style and crispy. Soft and more a hoagie style. Banh Mi bread should be a crispy. So for me, will order other items and not the Banh Mi. Otherwise I look forward to trying the Ramen and other items.

If you like bahn mi sandwiches and/or ramen, this is a must stop!
I first stopped here on my way home from work because I was craving a bánh mì sandwich. This place eventually became a staple for me. As always, parking on Brady St. is tight during dining hours. If you hit them up for happy hour, you should have an easy finding a spot. I have yet to dine at a table, but there is usually room at their bar. They also have limited outdoor seating in the summer.
Their menu is phenomenal and they always have enticing specials. They had a miso coconut ramen on special the first time I went. I paired that with the coconut shrimp for a perfect meal. The next time I went I had their bao bun special. I finally was able to resist the specials and get the bahn mi I’m always craving. This sandwich is top notch! I love their addition of mushroom pate. The only downside is the mayo is not spicy.
Service is always quick and friendly. I love that they have Asahi as an option. Additionally they have reds, whites, sake, other beer options, and a full bar.

I liked this place. I went here with a friend.

We ordered the bao buns (pork fat and chicken), and both were amazing, absolutely worth trying. The pork was soft and delicious, and the chicken was moist with a superb crunch. We both ended up trying the beefy boy Ramen. Which was good, nothing amazing but decent. I would come back here for the bao buns and their Thai iced tea. Next time, I'll try a rice bowl.

I wish I had taken a picture of the bao buns.

Well if we being honest wasn't my first grate experience. When I called the woman was nice but was kind of rushing me through my order. I ordered two ramen bowls with extra meat which came out to $50. I went back in there to tell them that the extra meat I paid for it didn't look like was there and opposed to them satisfying the customer and giving me the extra meat that I paid for, they shuffled through receipts to tell me in the end I got my extra meat. Seems like another establishment trying to trick people with portions. On top of that they didn't update their website so I didn't even know I was paying $50 for food until I got up there. Man said he's been telling the woman to update their website for a while now but she hasn't. So at this point it looks like they're trying to get people for their money. Why would you not update the website. On top of that one bowl that I paid for was supposed to be $13 and my second bowl was supposed to be around $14 for me to get there and find out I'm being charged $20 a piece for each bowl. I won't be going back until I get it together.

Walking down Brady for a place to eat, we noticed Easy Tyger. The sign is sort of hidden and we had no idea what kind of food it served, but it looked modern, new and a fun atmosphere, so we checked it out. So glad we did! The main entrees are ramen noodle dishes. My husband and I ordered the Pork belly bao to share as an appetizer, Shayo and the special which was a mushroom, tofu, ramen dish. The Shayo had seaweed in the dish which seemed to be an overpowering flavor, but the mushroom special was delicious! The bao dough gets stuck in your teeth, and the ramen is a messy dish to eat so I would not recommend for a first date, but it was a great double-date place!

Ordered delivery because I was craving ramen- I got the miso ramen and it is fantastic! I highly recommend adding some of the Japanese spice for an extra dollar if you like a little heat. I got the level 1 and it was a nice kick. The only MINOR gripe I had was when ordering for delivery, the drop down menu once you select a ramen has an option that says "Noodles" instead of "Extra noodles", so I clicked that, not knowing if I was supposed to select a base, and I ended up with a double serving of noodles. Oh well! An A+ meal otherwise.

I am not expert in authentic ramen, but the beefy boy ramen was really good. And the staff was friendly. Is really worth a visit.

Good food! Got it to go and would (like most places) be better in house. That being said, they do take out ramen very well. The broth is packaged separately so the ingredients don't get soggy. Bao buns were ok, the bun was standard but filling was nice.

I'm kicking myself because I used to live close to hear and I never went prior to this week. I decided to go there because they have gluten-free ramen, which was enough to bring me in. When I asked for Ramune flavors, I could tell I was in a good place since they have Yuzu. Most of the time if I ask for Ramune I'm getting original or strawberry. When they brought out the Ramune bottle the label was entirely in Japanese. As someone with Celiac Disease, I was also impressed because when I ordered my ramen I was asked by the server if that was a preference or an allergy. Usually when I order I'm informing the server and hoping they care, but the server beat me to the punch. And when my ramen arrived? My God. Grilled tomato and corn, a delectable ginger tamari broth, scallions and lettuce I could tell were fresh, pork belly with fat that melted as it hit my tongue. After having great ramen in New York City and Los Angeles, I gave up on trying ramen in Milwaukee because every place I had tried felt like something catching a trend. This ramen is on par with what I've had in New York City and Los Angeles and I ordered the stuff modified to keep gluten out of it. I was so happy after my meal I felt as though I was floating down Brady Street. Easy Tyger has just become one of my "comfort food" places in Milwaukee.

Had the rice bowl, was absolutely incredible. Fresh veggies, great cuts of beef, best teriyaki I've had outside of Japan. Great service and wonderful place to eat.

If you are looking for taste, atmosphere, and service, this place has SLAYED IT. Especially though a pandemic. Michelle was our server and was very attentive, informative about the menu, and everything was timed out PERFECTLY. Straight up 11/10, coming back like yesterday. This place is the bomb!

Service is great, and there is a decent variety of food and drink options. However the value for your money here is absolutely dismal. Peep the contents of my $15 sandwich. Every other bite was just bread. That didn't include fries either. The ramen is great but also very small portions for the money. Ive been here a couple times and surprised each time on the amount of money I spent along with the amount of hunger I still had.

Food definitely out weighed some of the shortfalls the restaurant was experiencing when we visited so I can only imagine it’ll be even better the next time. Good vegetarian options which is always a plus

This ramen shop on Brady Street is definitely worth checking out. Got to town a little late and many places closing early due to covid restrictions. We found this place because it stayed open a little later and had outdoor seating and served alcohol. I got the Tonkotsu ramen with a side of chili oil, the broth was excellent and noodles had a nice chew to them. The roasted corn added a nice sweetness to the already rich broth. Overall it was good and definitely filling so you could drink more. Great for groups or a nice casual date night.

1st experience here was great. It is clean and the wait staff is pleasant and helpful. The menu has a lot of delicious-sounding things on it, but I only had room for the tonkatsu ramen, and it was quite filling. The broth was rich and full of flavor.
The beer list could use some love, but there are a variety of wine and cocktail choices. I'll definitely return.

Pre-COVID menu was amazing. COVID-19 menu is a little on the lame side, but their quality of food and presentation is still awesome. Hope to see their menu return to its former glory once things go back to normal.

Artsy vibe, Asian fusion restaurant with fresh tasting ingredients. Friendly, personable service with evening specials. Enjoyed vegetarian options that could be made vegan. Broth was just a bit salty, and would've loved an offering of hot sauce or chili oil. Clean and updated environment. Great for a date night or evening with friends.
